Hotel Adeline, Scottsdale, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

We had such a great stay! The staff were amazing across the board, but Melinda truly stood out. She was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and always happy to share great local tips on where to eat and what to see. The food was excellent, the pool area was a vibe, the speakeasy was such a fun surprise, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. You can really tell this hotel cares about the guest experience. We’ll absolutely be back!

I stayed at Hotel Adeline for one night before my bachelorette party and had the best time! The staff were super accommodating and answered all my questions. Melinda was at the front desk when I checked in and she was amazing! She answered all my questions and helped me with some room issues. I had a great time!

First, the good: staff is nice and friendly here. When I called to make a request, they are attentive. Five stars for the staff. The location is pretty centrally located. Now, some things can be improved IMO: -there’s constant music being played throughout the lobby, dining, outside and pool areas and I cannot relax! I came here to enjoy my vacation and relax but I cannot do that. I can’t read a book or listen to podcast simply because the music is constant and louder than my own thoughts. I suggest turning the music WAY DOWN or no music at all. So people can relax. Or only have it at dinner time. -you cannot open windows in your room. There’s no airflow or fresh air unless you open the door or turn on AC. I feel suffocating inside my room. Also after the air freshener wear off, I begin to smell urine smell when I sleep at night. It’s unpleasant. There’s no fix on this. Probably have the room cleaned more often. -hotel room is only cleaned on the third day. Come on! We are out of clean towels, toilet paper, body wash, and soap by day two. Do you expect guests to reuse dirty wet towels? I shouldn’t have to call everyday for fresh towels, toilet paper, body wash soap, etc. -the breakfast was ok but largely overpriced even compared with any of the high-end restaurants nearby at the fashion square. Really? -hotel is super overpriced, like $400 or more for a simple room. And with all the annoyances, I will not come back. It’s too bad because I really find the staff very nice and friendly here.

Not a 4-star hotel. Without the high-end pool and lobby this would be a 2-star. Note there is not hot-tub/spa despite it saying on the website/room descriptions. The rooms are not enjoyable. They feel more like a nice motel then a 4-star hotel. Our shower's water pressure is terrible to the point that me and my SO dreaded having to shower. The water doesn't get much higher then lukewarm, the only time it was ever hot was at 7AM. The pressure is so bad that you get chilly and if you are a regular-sized man it is not enough to be satisfying whatsoever. The TV is 420p, there are no overhead lights, decor is old and ugly, and the room is just not nice enough for the price or rating. They seemed to have put all the money into the amenities and open-air pool area, and not enough into where guests actually stay. It was pretty disappointing. 1 hour late checkout will cost you $75, and 2-hour late checkout will cost you $200, never experienced this at any other hotel. In their defense, the property as a whole is relatively nice, the pool area is definitely awesome, the staff is nice, and the amenities are okay. But, again, your actual room suffers in return. (ALSO NO SPA/HOT TUB DESPITE IT SAYING ON THE WEBSITE!) Service was great, there's security, the on-site bar had high-quality drinks, and everyone we interacted with was relatively nice and competent. The front desk did have some issues charging the card we originally booked with, but I understand it's policy. All of the room/cleaning service workers were super nice and offered to help in any way, shoutout to them. Overall: Rooms ruin the experience, not worth the rating, not worth high-demand pricing, but very nice property and the people were great. I won't book here again, if you can get a good deal, it may be worth the money, but I will definitely not recommend it.

Dear Team, I would like to share some concerns regarding my current stay at your hotel. Despite staying for three nights, no housekeeping or room cleaning was provided, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, the hotel does not have an escalator or lift, so carrying luggage to rooms on the first floor could be inconvenient. The staff during check-in did not guided me well of room location. Inside the room, several issues impacted comfort and sleep quality: • The bedroom AC was ineffective and made continuous noise. • Pillow quality was poor, making it difficult to sleep. • There was no master switch near the bed to turn off the room lights. • The blanket was very thin and did not provide enough warmth. • The coffee machine was not working. • The blinds were ineffective and did not block out light properly. • 24-hour in-room dining was not available, despite the expectation of round-the-clock service. Overall, these issues significantly reduced the comfort and experience of the stay. I hope the hotel management can address these problems so that future guests have a much better experience. Perfect location to walk to nearby restaurants and bars. Clean rooms, the cleaning staff was super nice, went out of her way to find me a band aid for my toddler. Sammy and Jose at the front desk were extremely helpful and guided us to a local event that was happening and how to get better tickets

I recently stayed at Hotel Adeline in Scottsdale, and it was the best hotel experience I’ve had in years. I booked through Airbnb and couldn’t have been happier with my choice. The staff was warm and attentive, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the pool party was an unexpected bonus that made the stay even more memorable. The cocktails were excellent, and the service throughout my visit was exceptional. I can’t wait to come back!

I would never stay here again, the room had broken TV, the door did not even shut. They moved me to another one but it was not much better. The walls were so thin anyone outside would sound like they were in my room hanging with me…. It made sleep impossible and it’s probably better to sleep in your car given that experience. Then the shower is as broken in the room they moved me too. I travel a lot and have never had a the second room I moved to be in bad shape as well. The restaurant is pretty decent though.

What a great place! We stopped in for a girls weekend trip and felt like it was the perfect place for us to call home base. The hotel is smaller with a (not so secret) speakeasy, cool decor, and a pool. It is set just far enough from downtown that it is still walkable but not loud by any means. And don't forget your daily margarita (or mocktail)! Our rooms weren't by any means fancy but they were comfortable and had cool touches like the retro looking fridge with a huge freezer. This was a great find and will be the top of our list when we return soon.

Pretty, standard hotel. So this very standard Marriott hotel. The biggest disappointment is that there are no elevators. We stayed on the 2nd floor and had to carry our bags up the stairs. It was only carry on bags but still! The outdoor space is tiny but very pretty and well manicured. We were here for business and the conference room space was fine - nothing spectacular, no great views and no advanced technology. A lot of folks were taking pics by the "WTF" sign - bunch of social influencers! They have a Starbucks on site and a restaurant/bar. A nice selection of fresh juices and morning pastries.

Very disappointed. Six of us planned a girls' trip about six months ago and booked our hotel at the Adeline. We were so excited about this trip since it had been about ten years since we last did this together. Less than three weeks before our amazing trip, we received an email stating that our reservations were canceled due to a large group booking. They only offered us two alternative hotels, neither of which we wanted to stay at. We specifically chose the Adeline because some of the girls had a great experience there previously, and this would have been my first time. This is extremely unprofessional. They should have offered a discount for a future stay, a cabana at the pool for a day, or something to ease our disappointment. Unfortunately, I'll never know how this property is because I won't be staying here. Be aware that your carefully planned trip could be canceled at the last minute. This is bad business!

This place is amazing! The staff is so kind and welcoming. The rooms are clean, pool is great, and they have a fun speakeasy off the lobby! They have awesome food and drinks and an overall good vibe! Marriott did good with this one!I will definitely stay here again in the future!

Horrible experience with Server Gee inside the Speakeasy "Straight Up". My mother was ordering a Remy and Gingerale. The server stated she didn't have Gingerale. So my fiancé asked, "do you have ginger beer?" The server immediately got upset and said I am talking to the lady and NOT you to my fiancé. My fiancé said "excuse me? That is my mother and I am just asking a question" the server then repeatedly asked my fiancé to leave, got into his face, was very rude and disrespectful and called him a " misogynist" . Clearly this server has a weird dynamic with men and needs to leave her personal life at home. THIS WAS OUR FIRST AND LAST TIME AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT! DISGUSTING.

My new favorite spot for a pool day! I purchased a resort pass and enjoyed Hotel Adeline at my leisure. Walking in you're immediately greeted with an upbeat environment! The front desk was friendly and the hotel itself was retro and so cute! There's fresh water at check in and free water by the pool bar. Our pool server was quick and accommodating. We had a virgin piña colada (absolutely delicious) and a Caesar salad wrap and it blew my mind! It wasn't a traditional Caesar salad, whatever spices they added onto it hit the spot and it came with a large amount of fries. Will definitely be back for the vibes and sun!

Amazing customer service. I was impressed by the front desk and how kind they are. Scottsdale isn't always the friendliest place, but the hotel staff here are exceptional.

Just reviewing our pool experience as we weren't hotel guests here. Our pool at the W was undergoing maintenance so they offered access to the pool here. The facade of this place is pretty IG-worthy. Lots of fun photo ops around the property, a vibey lounge area, and we were told there's a speakeasy in the lobby? The front desk staff were super kind and helpful. They saw our Bonvoy wristbands and grabbed us a temporary access card for the pool. It wasn't crowded the day after Thanksgiving but the pool bar was still open. Tons of towels and tons of seating all around the pool. An outdoor lounge area in the back to hang, as well as cornhole and giant connect four. Trevor served us up a couple nice cocktails and a couple beers and was really nice and outgoing. Would def check this place out again. And pretty sure this place gets litty in the spring and summer but the perfect relaxing vibe for what we were looking for on this trip.

If you're stuck in AZ during the summer. This is a great spot to stay. Inexpensive, comfy beds, and the vibe here is pretty fun. The pool scene is fabulous if you're an extravert, or just like to people watch. The staff is gracious and friendly. The welcome margarita came in handy. The speakeasy at the end of the night is a delight. The bartender at the speakeasy was fantastic. She was professional and set good boundaries with some of the bachelors in the room. Her cocktails were superb! the pool was little too warm by the afternoon. they might benefit by stringing up some pool shades in the middle of the summer. but really, most of the guests are drinking frozen daiquiris by then anyway.

Rather than cookie-cutter corporate lodging, Hotel Adeline offered communal charm making it ideal for large gatherings. The lobby bar which looked out over the pool made for easy socializing, as I discovered during a recent work trip when nearly 100 colleagues and I descended upon the premises. We organically congregated in these public spaces, waving at familiar faces across the courtyard from the balconies. While comfortable, the rooms cannot compete with a truly luxurious hotel. The rooms felt like upgraded motel rooms, which indeed was this hotel's prior incarnation. An overactive air conditioner rendered my room distressingly frigid at night. Multiple calls to the front desk proved fruitless and attempting to convey my dilemma to a well-intended maintenance worker was challenging because we did not speak the same language. Besides the lobby hangout and palm-lined pool, onsite amenities were sparse. I cannot fault Hotel Adeline for what it lacks in lavish accommodations however, given its social atmosphere and price point. We were also in close proximity to some well equipped and comfortable bars next door. For brief stays with little time lounging in rooms, I found it charming. Yet for luxury-seekers demanding the royal treatment, its deficiencies become apparent. Still, none of that deterred our merry band from enjoying this hip oasis of a hotel. We relished meeting morning to night in its chic common spaces.

Stayed here for a work trip towards the end of October. I lucked out and got a room downstairs, facing inwards, and near the pool, score! Had I gotten one of those far end parking lot facing rooms this review might not have been so high, I'm sure the area is super safe, but not a walk I'd want to take alone at night. As soon as I arrived my the car door was opened for me by one of the employees and my suitcase grabbed from the trunk, way to make a girl feel like royalty. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Check in was a quick and easy process. Arrived to my large room with a comfortable king bed to find a complimentary eye mask and two pairs of ear plus, a trendy coffee maker, and a swanky chair that I honestly used for my suitcase the whole time. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Even being next to the pool I didn't hear too much noise from outside. What the room was missing - a fridge, a microwave, a shower door! Unfortunately I wasn't able to bring back any leftovers since there wasn't a way to store them. Also I know this whole half shower door thing is trendy and all, but it's cold and messy, and ya girl is not a fan. We had a happy hour poolside our first night there and the outdoor bar was serving great drinks, such a great area for an event! We ended most nights outside at the tables near the fireplace. A fun area to connect and enjoy some food and bites!

Regrettably Hotel Adeline is not my favorite and disappointing to me for a Marriott branded Tribute property. I would not stay here again. The ambiance is great, but the devil is often in the details. Cheyenne was so welcoming and quick upon check-in to this Palm Springs like vintage/colorful southwest modern vibe I am feeling upon my entry into the lobby. But it was a touch downhill from there. First disappointment. Room 5219 and what also appears to be all rooms down my corridor as well (I did not want to be peeking in the rooms of other guests like a burglar to find out, but I think this applies to the entire property....what is with the sliver of the window that cannot be covered by the window shade, thus exposing your room to potentially an outsider looking in? And the slice of the window that is not covered by the shade is not obscuring viewing of an unimportant part of the room...it looks directly into the main part of the room....the desk, the tv, the main part where one walks around a hotel rooms, with the chair where I would commonly work maybe in my underwear, with a laptop and the exposure to the bathroom. How many women travelers ready themselves half naked in front of a hotel mirror? Don't do that in room 5219 of Hotel Adeline or any other room on property really, a great security risk for any traveler, let alone a single female traveler like myself. I feel like this is a fix that could easily be rectified with some small panel or tape or something on the window to cover that sliver that allows outsiders to view in, but regardless a gapping oversight in design. And did I mention that Room 5219 is located on the second floor at the top of stairs and thus walked by by many. Second disappointment. The A/C is older, but working and easily operable from the operation unit on the wall. But at night when you are laying down, it is directly on your body and face. If you get out of bed, the other parts of the room are almost warn. So being an older unit, it probably is what it is, but surprisingly this was very irksome for cold air on your face and in your breathing at night is an easy way to make yourself unwell. Not sure that Hotel Adeline can fix this, but another disappointment to the already disappointing room. Third disappointment. The shower and the very poorly planned shower door. I understand in whatever remodel occurred at this property when it became a Tribute property that an overhaul of what was probably a bad motel lodge bathroom had to occur. I see the effort attempted to make it look hip and urban. But the glass shower wall designed to keep water in is not enough to actually keep water in. It looks cool, but because it covers maybe half of the shower, a lot of water gets on the floor. It needs a small hinged piece of glass that one can swivel over when you need it and swivel back when you don't. I have seen this on my travels around the planet sometimes and would be a fix. Fourth disappointment. On night two of my three night stay, the television stopped working. Thank heaven for Sirius radio and Netflix I can use off my mobile devices to get news and watch tv. I am a traveler that turns down maid service, for as a single traveler, I prefer people are not in my room. I am sure I could call down to the front desk and they would send someone up to take a look at the tv, but again, I am then inviting someone in my room unnecessarily. As with disappointment number two, these things happen, but again, the disappointments are now piling up. I choose to call nobody and watch tv on my mobile devices. So with other Marriott branded properties throughout this area, I will opt to stay at another property in the future. _____________

What a gorgeous boutique hotel! I had the opportunity to visit Hotel Adeline last year during a work conference and wow. Like a scene out of a fabulous, 60's film! Upon arrival in Arizona, I was blown away by the scenery. And when my uber rolled up to Hotel Adeline, I was transported to a IG-worthy scene fit for the most fabulous traveler. And being a fabulous traveler, I felt I was in the right place. ;-) Upon entry, the lobby of Hotel Adeline was so open and bright thanks to the patio doors that were wide open to the terrace and pool. I was still in plane gear and looking crazy as I headed to check-in, (but refreshed, because y'all know your girl believes in a flight self-care routine - get at me!), and I happened upon my amazing manager and co-workers sitting in the hotel restaurant! We chatted for a bit and I got to take in a few more views of the gorgeous place that we were going to call home for the next 2 days. Once I went to check-in, the Adeline team was quick and courteous, getting me into my room as soon as I arrived. Being able to check in as soon as you arrive to a hotel is always so appreciated by me because we're always so exhausted! I was happy to know that I could shower and relax, and not have to sit around looking like a glowing couch surfer. Heads up: There are no elevators. Sad, I know! I need to say that I packed to be in Arizona for 5-6 days, I match almost every outfit with a coordinating handbag, set of glasses AND set of sunglasses, and I usually travel with 1.5 looks per day. So when my team told me that there were no elevators, just stairs... and I thought of my big ol' bag... I was likely to fall out. I'm surprised I didn't! I got that bag up those stairs out of God's will and fear that I'd be stuck wearing what I was wearing for the week if I didn't. The retro vibe was reallll cute beyond that, lol. When I got into my room, I was so pleased! Nothing over the top or crazy luxurious, but extremely comfy, clean and welcoming. A mini fridge would have been soooo fabulous, as that's always something I love in a hotel room. I would also love to take a poll of my coworkers who got the coffee machine to work, because I was strugglinggggggg. Omg. I could have used coffee one night before going into the office and having more coffee to wake me up, and I couldn't figure it out! I'm a smart woman, I've made a lot of coffee, I'm still puzzled, lol. The blinds were also an aspect that I struggled with a bit, as my room overlooked the pool (such a fabulous detail!) but the blinds didn't allow toooo much privacy, as once the sun rose and guests started walking by... let's say I worked to confirm that no one could see in, lol. I cannot believe that I didn't bring my swimsuit as planned! What a gorgeous pool! I guess I thought that maybe my coworkers wouldn't actually be up for the pool when we got there but I was a fool, and the fun coalition was living it up poolside without me, lol. We did get to enjoy their pool bar one evening and it was fantastic! I heard that there was a speakeasy and was so sad that I didn't check it out, but another time! Overall, a picturesque stay in the Valley and a relaxing place to enjoy a few days!

As the trip grew closer, to our disbelief a half hearted email informing us that due to a large group coming in the Hotel elected to cancel all of our reservations. Hotel Adeline, y girlfriends and I planned a long anticipated girl's trip and based on personal experience I recommended Hotel Adeline! As majority of women understand "girl's trip" is typically planned well in advance. Our bags and flights were booked! Beyond excited for this trip! As the trip date grew closer, to our disbelief a half hearted email informing us that due to a large group coming in the Hotel elected to cancel all of our reservations. Management Ruth Diccochea and Taylor Murphy had no resolve other than "here's two other locations you can choose from" less than par recommendations and zero offer of a discounted rate in the future to entice us to book again. Needless to say, I will not stay here in the future-but to be clear there's room for improvement in all areas at this property! If you don't mind a limited food menu and overpriced drinks that taste like kool-aid then by all means stay here! I'll take my business back to The W!

I stayed at Hotel Adeline for a conference recently and overall had a good stay! It wasn't a **perfect** hotel experience, but lately I've found those few and far between. My Lyft pulled up on a sunny October afternoon and as I walked into the airy lobby I was greeted by friendly, though a bit awkward staff. Being part of a large group of folks staying with them over the course of the week I'm sure they had to relay the same information over and over again but a friend of mine saw me checking in and ran up to say hello midway through the concierge's welcome, and it made him sort of lose his way and I missed a ton of useful information. Aside from that check in went fine, I found my room (though wayfinding could be improved!!), and I settled in. The room I found to be very clean, comfortable, and modern. The only big let down, and it was a pretty big one for me, was the lack of refrigerator in the room. I've gotten fairly accustomed to having a mini fridge when travelling and not being able to throw the bottle of water they gave me in to get cold was a bit sad. I also wasn't a fan of the motel style windows, simply because to have natural light in your room you pretty much have to be okay with the whole world watching you. I totally get that's just part of the style and the vibe of this particular hotel, and you will know this when you book so this shouldn't be a shock to anyone that stays here. As someone who revels in sunlight, it pained me to keep the curtains drawn while brushing my teeth and getting ready for the day. Finally, I'll add that on the positive side the charm and character of this hotel is really fun. The pool is gorgeous, the lobby and bar modern and inviting, and there is something to be said about feeling as if you're transported back to the motels of 1960s America. If you're on the hunt for something unique that reminds of you of a bygone era this might be the spot for you.

On a scale or 1-5, I rate this one Gwyneth Paltrow. Unique, polished, quirky, and upon further examination, question worthy. Upon entry, with its cozy 200 some, outdoor entry only, two-story elevator less set up, Hotel Adeline looks to be your overpriced hip vacation motel convert, but just behind that golden neon "wtf sign", it luckily offers so much more. Centrally located, this quirky spot puts you just a few minutes from Old Town Scottsdale boasting two shopping malls, plenty of shops, art galleries, and nightlife gems. Between the sparking pool, and natural backdrop of the Camelback mountains, you get really can't beat the location. Score! The lobby itself is welcoming and bright with natural light, expertly designed with a mix of textures, finishes, and light variations, and beautifully partitioned (so you don't feel you're walking into the dining space just around the dividing wall.) I arrived early to be told my room was not yet ready (and the staff was not able to provide me with a timeframe of when it was expected to be ready), so while my counterparts sauntered to their rooms to freshen up, I took the opportunity to explore the bar. The bar/restaurant offers a handful of expensive options, BUT in their defense they are delicious. I highly recommend their cold brew coffee, and surprisingly the parfait ...I know, I know, just trust me on this one. While I ate, the chef dropped by to introduce himself. The patio and pool are an awesome bonus. There are plenty of Instaworthy photo opps and I'm here for the public pool parties on the weekend, and inclusive marketing. The rooms themselves leave a bit to be desired imo. They're cozy, and modern with beautiful lounge chairs, a modern charging station, and cozy beds, but in my room facing the back parking lot, with bed placed near the window, there was a significant amount of noise disruption. Additionally, as of October 2022 there's something going on with the pipes/sewage. I unfortunately was placed in a room where the bathroom has a permanent, lingering, sewage smell, so everytime I entered my room, I was met with the ripe smell of sewage. After addressing this issue with the staff, they ensured a maid would take care of it, but for the remainder of my stay the issue remained. At this price point, I'd assume the hotel would confirm that the issue was resolved, offer another room, refund, or at the very least ask about the stay at checkout, but no such solution or resolution was proposed. While the shiny perks, bells, and whistles of speakeasies, photo moments, tasty food, and friendly faces (who remember your name) were a nice treat, based on my stay, I'd say there's still a ways to go to ultimately offer an appropriate experience at this pricepoint. I'm certainly interested in staying again, and wish them the best as they continue to improve and resolve the kinks!

I stayed at Hotel Adeline recently for a work trip. Check-in was quick and the staff is friendly. It can be a bit of a walk to your room, depending on where they assign you. I was in the closest building, on the second floor (no elevator), facing the parking lot (less of a view, but less noise too). The room was nice, clean, modern, and tastefully decorated. I absolutely loved the bed. The mattress and pillows were so comfortable, I pulled off the sheets and pillowcases to see what brand they were and if I could get them at home. A lovely rainfall shower head was appreciated too. What could be better in the room? The full length mirror was hidden on the bathroom pocket door. No fridge and no robe - those would be nice touches to add. The curtains were either closed and dark or open and see-through. It would be nice to have an option that lets light in but doesn't let those walking by see inside. It was too late in the year to fully enjoy the pool, but I got to dip my toes in the water and sit under palm trees. Lovely. Wish there was a hot tub for the fall and winter months! I heard the pool gets busy for weekend events year-round, though. I grabbed a drink at the pool bar but didn't make it to the restaurant. I did go to the speakeasy, which is a really fun bar concept. Check at the front desk for instructions about how to find it and that night's secret password. The bartender makes incredible drinks! However, a word of caution: if he makes you something custom, it can get quite pricey, so specify your liquor of choice or budget. Overall, a good place to stay with a few touches that could make it great. I would recommend!

Five stars for the pool alone! As many others have said, the pool at Hotel Adeline is unbelievable. I could have probably spent an entire week here without moving and been happy as a clam. The pool area is very spacious and during the week it's quiet and not hard to find a lounge chair. I'm sure over the weekend it's a totally different scene. They also had a great playlist going, not one song was a miss. I just wish the pool wasn't as cold. Given how hot Scottsdale is this was surprising. If you don't feel like moving (ahem, me) then you are in luck. The pool area has a bar / restaurant with a pretty decent sized menu. Food isn't *amazing* but my pizza and chicken quesadilla totally got the job done. I also enjoyed a few frozen bevvies which were super refreshing and a great way to beat the heat. I had limited pool time and just wanted to make the most of it, otherwise you can find some other decent dining within a 10-20 minute walk. The hotel itself is well-kept. The lobby is extremely sleek and beautifully decorated. They did a great job with the decor and vibes. The rooms are also nice and spacious have a comfy bed. I did find that the room was a bit dark without the curtains open, and with the curtains open the entire pool area can see into your room. You can tell that during the week this is a popular spot for business travelers. i was here with a large work group, and surprisingly we didn't even take up the entire hotel. There were also a few other large groups staying. For a clean and comfortable stay in Scottsdale you definitely can't go wrong.

Such a beautiful hotel! The lobby looks recently renovated and rocks trendy neon signs, beautiful decor, and a friendly front desk crew. The lobby area includes a big bar and restaurant area that opens up to a pretty pool deck, surrounded by palm trees and covered in twinkle lights. The hotel rooms are only two levels and surround the pool area. There are entrances to rooms that both face the pool and are on the backside. The space gives off chic, 70's vibes and is super fun. There's a big pool bar outside and I really liked how the whole area was so communal. I was here on a work trip and it was fun taking over almost the whole hotel and running into coworkers without having to plan any meetups. Plus, there's another secret speakeasy bar hidden on the right-side of the lobby that was super unique. The room itself was nice and the bed was super comfy (loved the pillows!). The only reason I knocked off a few stars was because it is SO loud at night. Since all of the rooms are off of the big, fun common space, you will hear everything happening in that space, as well as every word of conversations by anyone walking past your room. If you're here with friends or planning to be the one out late every night, this is a great option. However, as someone who ended each night super tired, I felt like I lost out on a lot of sleep due to constant noise outside the door. The room comes with a pair of earplugs, as they acknowledge that it gets loud. Just know that coming in and plan accordingly. The room was pretty big, had some nice bath amenities, and boasted a big TV too. The shower was relaxing and had a good pressure. There was no fridge and the only way to turn on the toilet room light was to have the fan on at the same time, so that space was always dark, but the room was nice overall.

I stayed at Hotel Adeline for a recent work conference, and had a great time! I'd say we took over most of the hotel, as we had 100 people (give or take) in town for our summit. From start to finish, the stay was great. The star of the show is the communal outdoor area. The pool is gorgeous, surrounded by palm trees and string lights. It was especially beautiful at night but would also be a great place to lounge during the day. I wouldn't know because I was busy during my whole stay, but, noted for the next time I might get the chance to stay an extra day! And of course, don't miss out on the poolside bar! They have a hotel restaurant located right next to the lobby that was the perfect spot to grab a drink before heading out for the night, or a quick bite to eat. I tried their carne asada quesadilla with chiles, and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend! The rooms were nice. They were very clean, pretty updated, and the beds were very comfy. No complaints, truly. I feel the outside of the hotel could use a little bit of a facelift and some of the rooms don't have the luxury of facing the pool (like I did) which would make it a bit of a drab experience, but overall, it was a nice stay. Thanks, Hotel Adeline, for the hospitality and comfy atmosphere. These accommodations are definitely on my radar for anytime I'm coming to AZ for pleasure, rather than work!

Hotel Adeline is a cute boutique hotel that falls into the Tribute Portfolio for Marriott. This place would've been perfect for a bachelorette party or a weekend getaway. For a business trip - definitely not the one. This is definitely more of a like 3.7/5 star hotel for me. There's a retro, Palm Springs vibe. It kind of appears like an upgraded motel with the outdoor hall ways and the structure of the hotel itself. The lobby and restaurant bar area are super cute and people seemed to be having a great time there. The walls are thin though but ear plugs are provided. About half my outlets in the room didn't work so I had my laptop plugged into a random outlet and pulled the chair over. Definitely not ideal for a work trip but it was a one night stay so I made it work. Room was clean though so I appreciate that!! Location is super convenient to Old Town Scottsdale and like less than 20 min from the airport. I would not recommend for a business trip because when I say the walls were THIN - I could hear things through my noise cancelling headphones but it may be fun if it's for a casual trip with friends.

I recently stayed at Hotel Adeline while attending a work conference. Our conference has most of the hotel, so we pretty much knew everyone as we walked the grounds and it was really nice to be able to open the door and be right outside for fresh air. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the front desk attendant of whom quickly checked us in and gave us the lay of the land on where things are. As we walked to our rooms, the room numbers were a bit confusing so some of us walked around for a bit before finding it. One of the downfalls is that there are no elevators to the second floor, so those who may have a hard time with stairs or extremely heavy luggage may struggle a bit with the stairs. My room was facing the pool cabanas in the first floor, and that was super convenient, it does get a bit louder at night while everyone is out and about but nothing too crazy. In my room, I had a king bed with a chaise. The bathroom sink was separate from the toilet and shower which could be so handy for folks sharing a room. The one thing I wish we had was a fridge, so we could keep waters consistently chilled as it was a bit warmer outside during the day. I also had the opportunity to dine at the bar. I got the wedge salad of which was HUGE and a drink. The prices are rather high for the items but the drink and salad I had were enjoyable. All in all, we had a present stay and the staff at Hotel Adeline were extremely accommodating and friendly!

I've got to give this hotel 5-stars for my recent stay here last week. I came for our annual Yelp CM Week, where all of the Yelp Community Managers gather in one city for learnings, celebrations, etc. We had at least 125 people in attendance, all staying at the hotel.. and they performed flawlessly! And I know what you're thinking, and no, that wasn't because we were employees... I encountered several wedding parties who were staying there as well and they sang the same praises. From the pool and the swangy bar to the food, gym and secret speakeasy on site, this place has it all! Speaking of the gym, they had all the equipment I could ever need. Not only is the hotel amazing, so is there central location within Scottsdale! There is numerous 4 and 5-star restaurants within walking distance, as well as plenty of nearby shopping options. If I'm ever in Scottsdale again, which I plan to be, I'll certainly be checking out rooms at Hotel Adeline!!

What a cute hotel! Was in town for a work conference and was so glad we had booked our stay here. From the second I arrived to the moment I left, the staff was absolutely incredible. Love the layout of this hotel, too. They have a restaurant and bar in the lobby where I frequented every morning to get my morning coffee (they have cold brew! WOO!) as well as every evening to grab a cocktail. I wish I remembered all the staffs names that helped me out, but seriously, every single person I came into contact with was fantastic, friendly and accommodating. The rooms all surround the pool area, which I thought it was pretty awesome to have the pool central. The pool is beautiful and I wish I had more of a chance to use it. They have cabanas and everything. We did do a decent sized happy hour with our group by it and that was also fantastic. Makes for great picture backgrounds, too! Super photogenic. The rooms are a pretty great size, too. I had a room with two queen beds. My only thing is that I wish there was a little more light in these rooms. You can tell they were trying to accommodate that with lamps and whatnot, but for me, I just wish I had more. I was on the first floor, facing the parking lot, so opening my window to passer-byers was not on my to-do list haha, so having more light would have been nice, but again, the rooms are amazing. I also really loved the shower, too! Pretty spacious for the bathroom! Another thing I loved is that they had a front door guy there almost the entire time we were. I never had to get my door once. Chivalry! I would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a hotel in the area.

Dealt with our requests for dollies and general chaotic energy with *ease* - Grateful! + The beds here are cozy and I slept really well every night. + The 24/7 pool party energy was just right for our crew, and the poolside restaurant and bar is fantastic. I enjoyed a life-saving sandwich while stuffing badges and it was everything. + I was able to check in right upon arrival at 10am which was fantastic after 7 hours of travel time. The entire staff/team here is top rate and SO friendly. + Great gym facility. This spot is not without a few quirks, namely that you'll need white noise in order to sleep at night (I did this right on my phone and it worked perfectly - they also provided earplugs which I didn't end up needing), the rooms are quite dark and letting light in from the window allows any passersby from the pool to see in, and there's no fridge or microwave if you're a leftovers kind of girly (me). I would absolutely stay here again should the opportunity present itself and can't thank the whole team here enough for a great stay!

What a fun, unique boutique hotel for an enjoyable time in Scottsdale! I recently stayed at Hotel Adeline during a work trip. The Hotel Adeline is a motel that has had a major glow up. All of the rooms surround the spacious pool area, which boasts an outdoor bar. And the rooms have obviously been redone with chic furnishings. Some of what I liked: * So many great selfie spots! * That pool! While I did not get a chance to go swimming, it was so inviting. * The bar off the lobby made great drinks and also had nitro iced coffee on tap for mornings. * Hotel Adeline includes a speakeasy. You have to say a password and everything. And this bar, Straight Up, made me a great bourbon cocktail. It was intimate, spirits-forward and fun. * The bed was comfortable, and my room was clean. Some things to keep in mind if you stay: * If you are staying during a weekend, I can imagine that the pool area might get loud, and considering all the rooms pretty much overlook it ... well, I can see why there are ear plugs on the nightstand, provided by the hotel. * I had a weird occurrence where the door to my room was open when I arrived, and I found another man's passport and credit cards on the ledge in my room. Eep! I think it was just a mishap by the housekeeping staff, and the front desk was accommodating by taking the passport and cards and assuring me that I had the only key to my room. But just weird. All in all, though, I hope my company chooses the Hotel Adeline to stay at next year as well.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights because I was in town for a conference with about 100 coworkers. They rented out close to the entire place and used the space for a happy hour, gathering in the mornings, and grabbing drinks before or after dinner. The space itself is cool with a retro feel, kinda like I'm in Miami in the 70s. I loved the palm trees and lights. Once the sunset, purple and pink, blue, and green lights make it such a vibe. Add on the clear skies and stars and wowza. My room was on the second floor towards the back of the property overlooking the pool and covered deck area. The room itself was solid. It was only me staying there but it had two twin beds, a deck, chair, and nice bathroom. It was clean, the wifi was strong enough, but I used a sound machine on my phone to help sleep. No fridge or microwave but there was a small coffee station. The location wasn't too bad either. We were able to walk to our office in less than twenty minutes. To a city girl like me, that's a nice stroll. I can recommend it and I would stay again. Solid four stars.

Stayed here last week during a work trip and absolutely loved the hotel! Location: Very convient location. It wasn't too far from the airport (maybe 15-20min). It was within walking distance from downtown Scottsdale. Everything was along the same strip so it was super easy to get to. I even ordered Uber eats while staying here and the delivery person brought the meal all the way to my door! Parking: I took an Uber but I saw that there was plenty of parking in the lot! Staff: The staff was friendly and very helpful. My room key wasn't tapping and they immediately fixed it and apologized even though it was really no big deal! Experience: The place is so cute. There are plenty of photo ops. I can definitely see why so many bachelorette parties come here. The room was so nice as well. It was very clean and everything inside was so nice. The coffee machine was great, they even provide earplugs and makeup wipes in addition to shampoo, conditioner, soap and face soap. My bed was made every day and fresh towels were brought to my room. The bed was very soft and big and there was even a lounge chair in my room. I really loved the space overall and the lighting at the sink area! Bar: I only visited the bar during cocktail hour for work but the bartenders were friendly and the frozé was delicious! Improvements: The one thing I "disliked" was the shower. There is no glass door and the shower head wasn't really adjustable so water went all over the floor every time I showered. I usually don't ask for new towels every day at hotels but I had to this time as I was having to soak up all of the water on the floor daily. That would be my only compliant but event then it isn't really a big deal, I just felt bad that the bathroom was flooding and I wasted towels.

This was a cool hotel, with what I'm dubbing a bit of a Route 66 throwback hotel that's been refreshed with modern, boutique hotel touches to it. The best part of this hotel, besides the gigantic pool in the center of it all? The bed was super comfortable! The drawback to the room however was that the room was really dark without enough lighting, combined with the fact that you have to have both blinds drawn in order to have any privacy at all. I found the hotel gym one morning (in the main lobby area, just past check in) and it was OK. That's typically the bar for a hotel gym, and it was serviceable. What's even better for exercise is the Arizona Canal Trail that runs about a half mile behind the hotel -- it was really nice, and easy to not get lost on which is always key for a tourist like myself. As mentioned earlier, the pool is sort of the star of the show, and while I didn't get to swim on this biz trip, I did enjoy a work happy hour party there the first night that had a great energy to it. Location-wise, we walked to everything that we needed around us and I found it pretty perfect for the week I was there. I'd definitely stay here again and liked the whole energy around it!

I enjoyed my recent business stay at this lively boutique hotel with a resort-like feel. Their gorgeous pool packs an impression when you walk in. Most of us, if not all, didn't use the pool when we had a company mixer there, but it adds a nice touch. Another group used the same area to run an event the next night. My room is on the second floor facing the pool area, and from where I was, I didn't have any issue with outside noise throughout the night. Events seem to subside by 10 pm. Pros - The beds are plush and comfy. I had two double beds to myself. From asking a sample size of a few coworkers, we all had a great night's rest - The ambiance, vibe and open space. It wasn't a crazy wild party but a chill, relaxed crowd staying, at least from when I was there. I stayed during the week, excluding Sat/Sun. - Cool speakeasy - Bonus makeup remover wipes were provided and replenished if needed - I had positive customer service from the few interactions Cons - My particular room is a joint room with a connecting door between the next. I can hear chatter through the door, even at a normal speaking volume. Good thing they didn't talk much. Nice if they had - I wish there was a mini fridge. - The staff told me how to get to my room on the second floor. Not that I need one but I wasn't informed if there was an elevator, so not ADA-accessible. Even if there is one, it would be a detour. - Not a con, but something to note, they don't have door hanger tags to refuse hotel cleaning service. They have a magnet on the door to indicate this. By default, they will clean the room and replenish towels. I usually refuse it if prompted with a door tag, but I missed one night because I didn't notice the magnet. Service was good, and I accidentally left some valuables out, and it's still there. Phew! TLDR: If the opportunity presents itself, I won't hesitate to stay again.

We had a lovely three night stay here during a conference. For starters, the staff was incredibly friendly - from the folks working at the bar to the crew working the check-in desk. Similar to many other Scottsdale hotels - Hotel Adelinee has that retro motel vibe with only two stories, a pool located in the center and dreamy courtyard photos with Camelback Mountain in the backdrop. It's truly hard to beat the views - especially at sunrise and sunset. The rooms themselves were clean and simple. The lobby and restaurant seemed to be a little more hip and design-forward than the actual guest rooms. My room in particular was empty on shampoo and missing the body wash bottle - soap bar for the win. During my stay, I was also able to try their coffee, bar drinks and lunch - all were delicious. The location is walking distance from the Paradise Valley neighborhood, Old Town Scottsdale and a fun neighboring bar - Canal Club at The Scott. Overall, it was a positive experience. Thanks to their team for welcoming in our big team!

Start to end I had a great experience here! This place gave me major Palm Springs-style motel vibes, and I loved it. Here's the run-down: CHECK-IN: Was smooth and friendly! It was a bit tricky to get the hang of how the rooms were numbered at first, so the map they give out at checkin is handy. COMMON SPACE: I really enjoyed the common spaces during this stay since we were here with a large group. It was so nice to hang out in groups in the open-air lobby, plentiful seating area next to the bar, or outside on the patio. POOL: I love that this is the center of attention - literally! Awesome pool with plenty of seating, including cabanas. ROOM: Again, think motel vibes for the layout of the space - but the rooms themselves don't feel motel-y at all! My room seemed recently renovated, and I loved the chaise lounge and nice tiled shower. I appreciate that they provided earplugs and blackout blinds! Bummer that not all rooms include mini-fridges (you need to ask for one) but I did appreciate that they restocked free water bottles and cleaned daily. SERVICE: Truly, every staff member I encountered during the stay was SO helpful and kind. This is an incredible team that is definitely on their a-game!

What an amazing hotel! The vibes were immaculate. We came here for a work trip and had such a fabulous time. Check in was so easy, and the staff was accommodating and helpful. My room was ready to go a lot earlier than check in time which was fantastic. I was in the second building on the second floor, which overlooked the pool. The room was super nice, I loved the elevated touches of the illy coffee, the massive shower head, and comfy beds (the sheets were fresh and comfy- I hate stale feeling sheets!). We had our welcome happy hour by the pool and the staff made it so wonderful and easy for us to have a good time! We had stations of food- hummus, charcuterie, and sliders. Our dishes were promptly bussed and everyone was so kind. I also loved the bar area! Bartenders were helpful abs accommodating. The space is open and huge, and such a great spot to sit and relax with coworkers. I would absolutely come back if I was in Scottsdale! Thanks for a great week!

This is one cute hotel! Big thanks to the team here for hosting me and 100+ of my teammates for a recent work summit. Safe say most everything went off without a hitch. Off the bat I'll say this place gave me more of motel-vibes, as all of the rooms open to the outside, facing each other, and over looking the pool area. This isn't good nor bad in my opinion, but just something to note! A few positives & things that stood out to me: *Great location. Very central to everything in the Scottsdale area! *Lovely, and well-decorated lobby and restaurant area. Super modern and welcoming. *Stellar pool layout including a large bar area, green-space, cabanas, yard games, and more. This area is really the star of the show here. *Easy check-in up arrival, and friendly staff. *Nice on-site gym, which I didn't get a chance to use but always good to have available for guests. *Comfy beds! *Tasty cocktails! A few not-so-positives & things that stood out to me: *The prices in their bar/restaurant are wildly high. I was genuinely shocked they could get away with charging what they do for certain items. *The shampoo/conditioner attached to the wall in my shower were empty :( *Be prepared to hear plenty of noise from other guests outside of your room. With the rooms facing outside/the pool, you can hear it all. They try to off-set this in a cute way with providing ear plugs, but hot tip: bring your own white noise. *No fridges or microwaves in the room, which is something I've rarely seen at hotels. Definitely could have used the fridge! *The rooms themselves aren't as up-to-date at the main hub of the hotel (lobby, restaurant area). Rooms could use a lil face lift to cary the atmosphere through your entire stay. All in all, this was a lovely experience! I'd certainly stay here again if the opportunity came up!

Adorable hotel with a cool speakeasy! This hotel was booked during my work trip so a bunch of us were staying here. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the front desk staff that quickly checked me in and gave me my work goodie bag - how fun! The front desk lobby area is stunning and has a strong vanilla scent to it. There is water on the side that you can help yourself to. To the left of the front desk is the bar/ lounge area where you can grab a drink or two. This leads into the pool area where I think the pool is shin high only? I saw someone walking in the pool at night and it was not very deep at all! The rooms are clean and they give you coffee to enjoy if you'd like. The only downside is that there's no mini fridge so you're unable to keep any foods or drinks cold if you'd like. The speakeasy at the hotel super adorable. I won't spoil it on how to get in and let any wanderers go find it themselves for that wow factor! Overall, the stay was great and had friendly staff!

This was one of the best hotel stays I've had in a hot minute! Hotel Adeline is a charming little spot in Scottsdale that combines a throwback vibe with modern decor. There are several fun & photogenic details ... from the incredible pool surrounded by palm trees, to the murals painted on the sides of the buildings, to the "WTF (Where's the fun?) neon sign right beside the entrance. I was in town for a work trip ... but I think this would be a great spot for a wedding room block, or a bachelorette party. While I loved all of these little additions - I have to say the best part of my experience was hands-down the customer service. I'm blown away by how accommodating and friendly both the front desk AND the bar/restaurant staff were. I arrived around 10 a.m. the day of check-in, fully expecting to just drop my bags off and hit Old Town, since rooms aren't typically ready so early in the day. To my surprise, Tyne and her amazing team checked me in right away. This was a big win in my opinion ... since I'd already been traveling for hours and desperately needed a nap before the work commitments began later than evening. If that's not enough ... I had an unfortunate mishap with some Airpods being left in an Uber. The front desk team went above and beyond to get them back to me after my driver dropped them off ... even when another pair of Airpods had been returned around the same time, and there was a bit of a mix-up. Anyone who's ever lost those darn earbuds knows that it's a pain trying to find them ... and I'm so grateful to this team for helping get them back to me, safe and sound. My room was wonderful, as well! Everything was clean, the bed was comfy, and I had plenty of towels and other toiletries available for my three night stay. The only small qualm I had with my room was that they don't have a fridge? I had some delicious leftovers from a work dinner that I was looking forward to chowing down on the next day ... but with no fridge, I had to unfortunately toss them out. I would definitely recommend staying at Hotel Adeline to anyone visiting Scottsdale. You can't beat the location, decor, and customer service!

Great hotel, could have had a bit lire nightlife, nothing was open after 11:30-12am which kinda didn't work out but other than that, liked the pool vibe, decor, bar speakeasy although barely open...close to old town and shopping!

I stayed at Hotel Adeline on two separate occasions, both during work trips. The hotel, which made its 2018 debut after a $12 million renovation, houses 213 rooms, a pool with cabanas and bar, a restaurant and lobby bar, pet-friendly rooms, a fitness center, and many photo/IG moments. My first two-night stay was about three-four star stay. Room was equipped with everything I needed, but the A/C was loud (they have old-school motel-like units). I'm not so much a fan of the full wall length windows, because you only have the option of full natural sun and no privacy, or no natural light but all the privacy you need to sit in a dark and scary room. Your call. My major gripes, rather disappointments, about this stay was the inconsistency in the quality of rooms. One of my lamps wasn't working (again, dark room), other than that, no complaints. Meanwhile, my bestie down the hall had no iron, the safe was broken, no full-bath products, no makeup/face towel... I had to take her some items. The other two big upsets: the lobby bar closes early, which isn't fun if you're in a large group ready to keep the drinks flowing. For those who book weddings and events there, ask when they do last call, otherwise you'll be moving your party elsewhere. And the final issue was the not so friendly service from the pool bartender. Can't remember the fellas name - Brad, Chad, Robert? - but it felt like he had it in for our group lounging by the pool. He wasn't okay with the outside food (even though the restaurant wasn't open and the only sign with this rule is at the front of the pool entrance, not by the entrance we came from). He kept circling around our group while disregarding other people around us with outside food/drink. Didn't know McNuggets could be so offensive. Other than that, this is an okay stay. If you don't like that this hotel isn't gated, you might want to request a pool-facing room. The rooms that face the outside and parking lot feel secluded. On two instances I freaked myself out while turning a corning and bumping into someone at night. Not a place or hotel setup I'd want to stay alone. But nice sunset hour photo opps! It's a cute stay and affordable option for birthdays, bach parties, weekend getaways, staycations; I'd rec for that.

This was my 3rd stay at Hotel Adeline. I was celebrating my birthday and stayed the night l, rented a cabana and enjoyed the Saturday Pool Party. I like how the hotel is smaller and the parking lot, hotel and pool are all so convenient and a short walk between. While the bigger resorts are nice, I'm tired of the huge treks negotiating the huge resorts. Hotel Adeline is just so user friendly. It can be a little loud during the weekend pool parties but if your looking for fun time and feast people watching ages 20's-55's in Scottsdale, then this is the place for you. The restaurant has improved their food quality and the hotel staff were quite courteous. Brunch was delicious and my omelet was cooked to perfection! So many hotel/restaurants annoy cook a good omelet. I have Titanium status on bonvoy and received a room suite upgrade. Early check in and check out at 4pm is so easy to get used too! I love the decor and fresh vibe of Hotel Adeline! Talking Stick pool parties are too crowded with a very young crowd and seedy feel. The W Hotel pool parties are quite hit or miss. The Saguaro and Hotel Valley Ho pool parties are so so, but Hotel Adeline consistently have The best pool Parties with a good dj!!

I was perfectly comfortable at this hotel while visiting for a work conference. Our organizers planned our visit carefully and the staff was welcoming and accommodating for our group! The pool area is a generous size and beautiful, the decor modern and lovely and the bartenders stayed cool under the pressure of our large group who loves a cocktail. I wished that I had more time to lounge and enjoy the open spaces for sure! I found my bed to be comfortable and the room to be a good size. My room faced the interior and I slept fine. I did hear some noise complaints from my collegues but personally didn't have an issue. But I'm also a sleep deprived new mom so it would have taken A LOT to interrupt my baby-free rest. This hotel has the reputation of being a party hotel that is good for groups - and I can see that! We partied, and we were a big group so? Expectations met, My one complaint: One of the things that our team thought of was making sure us nursing moms had mini fridges in our rooms to store breastmilk for shipping or carrying back home. Rooms do not normally have them. If you've ever been in this situation you know how anxious and intense it can be. It was my first two weeks back from leave and my supply had dropped so making sure every bit was saved and shipped was vital to me - sadly their units were not able to get super cold so I ended up carting things back and forth to the office to ensure proper storage. Suggestion to maybe test and audit their machines and replace if needed. Understanding that most folks just wanna throw some beers and leftovers in them, but some folks might have a more important need like storing medication, or milk, in my case. Overall - enjoyed my stay!

My review for Hotel Adeline is long overdue, but I need to share the love! Hotel Adeline is such a wonderful boutique hotel option in sunny Scottsdale. Located near Fashion Square and Old Town, it's super accessible to all the must-visit Scottsdale attractions. I love the layout of Hotel Adeline. The pool is really the heart of the hotel, with all the rooms surrounding it. While I didn't spend any time at the pool, it looked like the perfect hangout spot for a hot day. The lobby bar space was super beautiful too! Very bright with lots of natural light and the perfect balance for those looking to knock out a few hours of work and those grabbing some afternoon drinks. Lots of great photo ops with the funky decor and signage, too! My room was located on the second floor and overlooked the pool. They are are simple, but functional! The bed and pillows were super comfy (so important), and they even provided ear plugs given the room proximity to the pool and the fact that it can get a little rowdy at night. My biggest issue was that there was a large wet spot on the carpeted floor that never seemed to dry. This left the room with a musty scent every time I entered. Even after housekeeping tidied up, the spot remained. All the staff I encountered was extremely friendly and welcoming. I think the rooms could use a mini makeover, but the public spaces are really top tier! Overall, I had a great experience.

Hotel Adeline looks beautiful. The retro yet modern and bespoke vibe is inherent in the main lobby, the outdoor patios, and the individual rooms. It has an appealing setup, with all the rooms in a U shape around a large pool and courtyard area. Only problem is, the weather is cold and the pool is not heated! However, the intensely decorated back courtyard and pool area is ideal for hanging out with others- if you are here for a conference or reunion or something. Not sure it would be my first choice if I was here for other reasons. The room itself was also decorated beautifully, and I appreciated viewing the finery. However, I want to offer my constructive criticism in hopes that this can help. Could use improvement: No mini fridge in the bedroom. As I was attending a conference while here, this really was a drag not to have. I would have really appreciated having a cold beverage and a place for a snack. No drink machine. Kinda weird. Not even something in the lobby. I am a fan of a ginger ale after a headache or a few drinks. Like, in the middle of the night when having something on property is ideal. No room service. Although perhaps no one needs this when there are a million ordering apps that work perfectly fine here. No hallways, so no privacy. In this case, a robe would have been amazing. The lighting at the sink was atrocious. It was so dim that I could barely put on makeup. This is unnecessary. My colleagues and I all complained about this! Hope this feedback is helpful. I love the trend of converting these older motels into hip and retro spots. I walked in and immediately felt like I was in that episode of Mad Men when Don Draper went to Cali. I loved the communal space downstairs around the bar and the patios but felt the drinks were significantly overpriced. The pool is amazing and I wish I had more time to spend there. On checkout day I got to check my bags at the font and hang by the pool all day with some coworkers which was great. The rooms had retro decor and were very spacious. You could tell they cut some corners on the upgrades, but for the most part I'd say it's a win. I had the opportunity to stay here longer (as I was extending my stay beyond the work trip), but decided on my own dime I could find something better for the price. I would definitely stay here again (price pending) to spend more time by the pool.

I stayed here recently for a work trip, and the lobby is so inviting and aesthetically pleasing! Overall there was a really retro feel, and I thoroughly enjoyed the vibes. Check-in was a very easy process and it wasn't hard finding my room. My room was nice, but it felt like there was no in-between of being really bright or really dark. I wanted to let natural sunlight in, but at the same time I'd feel like I had no privacy. It also didn't help that it was the first floor and a parking lot was right there. As such, I found myself just only being in my room when I absolutely needed to be. I found myself mostly at the gym, which I think could've used hand sanitizer, the bar (which was pretty expensive, but what hotel bar isn't XD), and the pool... which I think was my favorite part. Surrounded by palm trees and mostly clear skies and good music playing, the vibes at the pool were unmatched. And thankfully it was warm enough to enjoy before the late afternoon. The poolside bar was really nice too. Overall, I enjoyed this hotel for the aesthetic and the pool, but as I mentioned, I wish I could've allowed more sunlight into my room privately, and that lighting was just a little more balanced. I'd recommend the hotel to others based on my experience though.

We went there for Mother's Day! It is a day club! Could not use the pool because of the day pass people. You can stay there if you want to sit in your room! They also put gratuity on your bills and don't mention it so double tipped almost every time. Finally noticed it! Would never stay there again

The sweet little set-up that is the Hotel Adeline provided a great backdrop to a pretty magical work event for my company recently. Like many properties Scottsdale, Hotel Adeline is set up resort-style, 2-story blocks of rooms all surrounding a beautiful pool area. Note that there are no elevators so if you need one, make sure to request a ground-floor room. It didn't seem like there was staff ready and willing to assist with luggage (to my observations but also a colleague mentioned that she couldn't get assistance). Amenities at this property are pretty basic but satisfactory. I love a robe and they do not provide them here, unfortunately. There are cup-style coffee makers in the room. Rooms are clean and sparkling with comfy beds. The bathrooms are spacious enough with adequate counter space and a walk-in shower. No fridge, no mini bar. Complimentary water was greatly appeciated and the gym, while also basic, was just what I needed for quick work-outs. I loved how the bar area opened up onto an inviting patio. In the heat of the day, doors are closed, but on a fall evening, it's an idyllic set-up and I could have spent hours there. I will say it was perfect for our large conference stay (we dominated the place), but had I been staying there for any other reason, I might have been a little less enamoured of the lack of proximity to conveniences (try walking 5 blocks as soon as the sun is up in Phoenix!) as well as the noise level coming from the pool and bar.

Stayed at Hotel Adeline while visiting Scottsdale for a few nights. The hotel has a bit of of an old school motel aesthetic, with two stories of outdoor facing rooms wrapping around a centralized pool, event space, front desk; and gym. The hotel itself was pretty cute. There are bright light up signs, outdoor string lights, turf, and a big pool with a walk in slope for easy accessibility. I didn't try the pool but heard it was a little chilly. I did use the gym, however, which wasn't too bad. They don't have a rack with a free bar and, instead have a smith machine, which is a miss, but their dumbbells went up to a reasonless weight. The staff at the hotel was also very kind and helpful, especially when checking in and proving details on the hotel. The room was pretty standard. The bed was very comfortable as I passed out on it nightly and the shower was relatively big too. My shower was a standing shower and not a tub. I will say there was a bit of a musty smell in my room though. One tip: to be more sustainable, it's pretty common these day for housekeeping to not change out everything on a daily basis, unless requested. While it was nice and appreciated to have everything replenished and refreshed daily, it wasn't necessary.

Super cute hotel with a beautiful pool area and speakeasy attached. I stayed here recently for a work trip and was very impressed by the trendy design and helpful staff here at Hotel Adeline. Check-in was quick and easy, the person at the front desk made sure I knew exactly how to find my room, even providing me with a map! My room faced inward toward the pool area and was on the far end near the bar. It was a little noisy at night while people stayed up partying at the bar, but it wasn't too bad. I'm not sure if it was just my room, but I could hear my neighbor the next morning very clearly through the wall - his whole entire phone conversation and even the person on the other line. So, the walls might be a little thin and maybe that's something to keep in mind. Again, the people working here couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. From the front desk employees giving me extra makeup remover wipes since I forgot mine at home, to the bartenders who (I believe) stayed open late to accommodate guests, the people made the place extra special. The bed was comfy and the water pressure was great. I do wish there was a mini fridge in each room, though. All in all, I'd certainly stay here again.
