Hotel Altair

Amazing hotel, in a quiet area but 5 mins walk to all the amenities. Reception staff were fantastic very helpful. Room adequate, great shower and bathroom mini bar available, bed comfortable. Would definitely recommend. Didnt have breakfast so cant comment.

Stayed here as part of the final stay of the Camino. It is a lovely, modern hotel away from the center of Santiago so made for a quite stay. My room was spacious, bathroom was beautiful and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast that was included was lovely as it was on a made to order basis, not buffet. I would stay here again.

Beautiful quaint little hotel in a quite street away from the noise of the Cathedral area but still only a short walk. We were very lucky to be accommodated at short notice and the lovely receptionist couldn't have been more helpful. All the staff are extremely friendly and courteous. Our rooms were most comfortable with exposed stone walls and cute little balconies giving it a great character. A full length mirror would be most welcome however, in fact the only mirror was in the bathroom. Storage wasn't wonderful, the wardrobe was good but there were not any other shelves or closets and the desk/dressing table did not have any drawers either. Bathroom could also do with some more shelving but overall was nicely equipped with lovely Nuxe toiletries and a great hair dryer. The breakfasts were served to the table and although the selection was limited being just a continental breakfast, everything was fresh and delicious and the coffee lovely. Would definitely recommend for a stay in wonderful Santiago.

Stayed here for 2 nights after completing our Camino trip. Had a really lovely stay. Theresa at reception was amazing and couldn't have done more to help. Breakfast every morning was lovely. Really fab location too. A great place to base oneself and explore all that Santiago has to offer! Thank you Hotel Altair!

A fantastic stay at this hotel. Room was clean, tidy, comfortable. Quiet area but close to centre. Everything within walking distance. Staff so helpful and attentive. Lovely stay and would highly recommend. Delicious, reasonably priced breakfast.

Hotel Altair is a fabulous place to stay. We cycled from Porto and this was by far the best accommodation we had. Everything was wonderful here, starting with the extremely helpful and friendly staff, comfortable and clean bedroom and bathroom. And the breakfast was second to none - fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, home made bread with local ham, cheese and jams. Freshly made coffee and almond tart. All in all I highly recommend Hotel Altair

Very good hotel, closed to the cathedral of Santiago de compostela. Team is very efficient and nice, thanks a lot! Delicious breakfast (& low price compared to the high quality) I fully recommend.

This is a really nice hotel off the beaten path in Santiago de Compostela. The staff went out of they way to be helpful and really made us feel as if they appreciated our visit. ||Our room was very well appointed and quiet. Also, there was a little patio off the room which was a very nice touch for our stay.
