Hotel & Restaurant Alte Mühle

A very nice hotel, nice location very friendly staff. My room super super clean, just like the hotel. The breakfast hey what can I say it was perfect. The coffee was one of the best I've ever had . It was a nice surprise that they had an elevator. Being my room on the fourth floor I didn't have to walk all the way up the stairs.

What a lovely place. I came for a seminar but the team at the hotel were just exceptional. A special thank you to Lisa who just went out of her way to ensure my comfort. She also made sure my pick up by taxi at 5 am happened with my lunchbox. Firstly I have to thank Lisa and then the team at Alte Muehle. Thank you

Neat and clean hotel with rather small rooms radiating old fashioned charm of the seventies. The restaurant offers a small menu, food is ok but the bare tables for diner (no tablecloth, not even a paper set) gave it a lowly feel. Due to a function in the adjoining room we waited more than 45 minutes for our starters to arrive. The place has promise but the running needs some rethinking.

We were in the area for just one night and picked the small hotel by chance. It is an old mill building that has been completely redone. Everything looks nice, clean and inviting. There is ample parking, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean - ours had a nice view at the little stream running by. The rooms are big enough and - the hotel being very much in the countryside - very quiet. Everything was very clean, with tea and coffee facilities. There is no mini bar, but we did not miss it. ||The breakfast buffet is not too big, but offers a wide range of things, everything with really good quality. We really enjoyed breakfast. We did not have lunch or dinner, but the menu looks promising.

We celebrated our 40 year wedding anniversary at the Restaurant with friends. They had decorated the table for our anniversary and even gave us a little appetizer before dinner. Food was excellent, we had the Deer back strap ( Rehrücken ). My husband, an avid hunter, said that it was the best he has ever had. Desert was also great and so was the atmosphere. Nice job! Quality Food!

Restaurant is excellent, it makes up for any other lacking. Staff can speak English well.. much more than "working" English. Nice quiet area, no road noise. Rooms are warm during winter season.

Light, quiet, well-equipped room with just the sound of the mill stream to accompany your sleep. Bathroom was also a decent size and very clean. Excellent breakfast with even the typically Bavarian veal sausages (Weisswurst).
