Wonderful family-owned and operated hotel with spacious, modern rooms within easy walking distance to the Altstadt and palace. Delicious breakfast, served with attentive care. The hotel gets my highest recommendation, and I would definitely stay here again.

This is a reasonably priced hotel with spacious, clean rooms. It is located around 1.5 km from the city centre in a less than attractive area. There is parking at the hotel and also in side roads nearby. Breakfast was 10€. WLAN was included. There was no aircon. As it was a very warm night we had the windows open and heard the nearby railtracks. Still recommended.

Such a charming hotel!! We stayed in an adorable family suite with a large bathroom! It would easily sleep 4 to 5 guests. We had a fabulous breakfast and a very comfortable stay! It was very clean and so peaceful!

The hotel is very nice. Clean and very comfortable, It's not a luxury one but it has everything you need. The breakfast is really very good and everything is fresh.||The restaurant is excellent : i had a soup, a filet and a cake and i have anjoyed everything. The family who run the hotel is also very good. I reccomend this hotel.

We stayed at Schapers for the second year now, and will definitely be back again for summer next year. The Ekl Familie who owns and manages the hotel welcomed us warmly and made us feel very much at home. ||||The rooms are clean, practical and well laid out, with sufficient space for our luggages and moving around. ||||The restaurant at the hotel is one of the best in Celle with seasonal menus of the fresh products... so be sure to plan for a meal there during your stay.||||The hotel is conveniently located... and on a nice summer day, you can even enjoy a briskly walk through a large green park into the city centre (about 25 minutes away). The Deutche Bahn (DB) train station is also around the corner, so if you are planning inter-city trips to other European cities or travel around Germany, the hotel makes a good base to start your journey.||||We will definitely recommend this hotel for families with young children; groups of friends and those seeking good value-for-money (yummy breakfast offering) and spacious, clean accommodation options.

Amazing breakfast, fresh and a good selection. We stayed at the apartment that was of a decent size for a family of four. Outside is a relaxing garden with a few swings for the kids. Friendly staff. A bit off from the old center town, takes about 20 minutes to walk.

If you are OK with the location, which is a 20-30 minute walk from the town center, this is a great place to stay. Comfortable room and bed, excellent and friendly service, good breakfast, safe free parking lot, quiet, and not expensive. The restaurant was closed during my visit, but I noticed they had some high-quality bottles in the bar! There are plenty of parking garages downtown if you should wish to drive your car from the hotel to the town center.

Nothing but praise for this hotel , situated near the station away from the city centre. It has good parking facilities on the grounds and anyway, the neighbourhood has plenty of quiet residential streets to put your car in. The apartment in the annexe where I slept was quite spacious and well- equipped without being overly luxurious. The owners doubled as waiters in the restaurant in which I had a very pleasant meal prepared by an inventive cook. Good German cooking which saves you the trip to downtown restaurants. The bar/restaurant looked very clean with opaque windows and wooden wainscoting. ||You could do far worse than stay here. Forget about chain hotels with rather more impersonal reception
