Loved our stay at this quaint boutique hotel!! Our room had a lovely view of Mt Blanc . The staff was friendly and available 24/7. The breakfast was delicious and generous too! And the central location in Chamonix was perfect! We would definitely come back again!!

The service is excellent!!!! We arrived with a massive about of luggage. Also I was having breathing issues due to the altitude. Elsa (front desk) not only helped us with the 13 pieces of luggage, she helped us with parking and then learn about the area so we could get dinner. Extremely walkable area and a map is provided. We booked a family room because we have teenagers. We thought we wanted ground floor but that room is bunks and more suited for small children. They put us in the top floor so the teens could have more space with twin beds. Perfect separated sleeping spaces. There is a ski storage with boot warmers. Also a hot tub and sauna. Robes are provided. The only thing I think we need is a better hair dryer because we all have long hair and the built in dryer is lightweight. They also offer a breakfast onsite for $15.

I had a beautiful stay here. Though it was just for one night, the staff treated my party and my needs very nicely. I kindly asked for a room with a view of Mont Blanc at the time of booking and the view I was given completely surpassed my expectations!!, it was exceptional. Definitely worth the money for the location and room views. The spa access was enjoyable however you cannot adjust the temperature of the Jacuzzi and it was rather cold, and the sauna was not working when we tried to use it. It also had a strong unpleasant smell. That’s the only somewhat negative thing I experienced, however I still wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

La Faucigny Hotel in Chamonix is an gem! The hotel is cozy and our room was clean, comfortable, and offered stunning views of the mountains—a perfect retreat after a day of exploring.||||The location is ideal, right in the heart of Chamonix, close to shops, restaurants, and all the main attractions. The breakfast was delightful, offering a fresh, tasty selection to start the day, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing excellent recommendations and always ensuring we had everything we needed.||||The spa area was a nice bonus, perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking or skiing. Overall, La Faucigny offers great value for money, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Chamonix—can't wait to return!

<<<UPDATE 2024, August 22nd>>> Management service take a very bold move to give me back all of the expenses. From one-star service to five-star service. They are fully known that they are working in service industry, so one bad experience from client will ruined their business. Thank you Alix for providing good service with good attitude, five-star service. <<< 2024, August 19th>>> MY REVIEW BEFORE ALIX HELP ME My experience at Hotel Le Faucigny in Chamonix was an absolute disaster, and I feel compelled to warn others about their shockingly poor service. It’s baffling that a business operating in the hospitality sector could treat its customers—who quite literally keep them in business—with such unprofessionalism and utter disregard. First of all, their response time to emails is outrageously slow. I reached out multiple times to clarify a simple question about whether it would be possible to cancel my reservation without penalties. Instead of a straightforward answer, they took it upon themselves to cancel my booking entirely—without my permission! This kind of behavior is not just unprofessional, it’s downright disrespectful. But the nightmare didn’t end there. After traveling for hours and arriving at the hotel at 11 PM, exhausted and ready to rest, I was informed that my reservation had been canceled. I was left with no room, no support, and no options late at night in a foreign country. The level of stress and frustration I experienced was unimaginable. How can a hotel, a place meant to provide comfort and shelter, treat its guests like this? It’s unbelievable that they operate in the service industry but seem to have no understanding of how to professionally handle the people who keep their business alive. Their incompetence and lack of basic respect for their customers are appalling. If they can’t manage to provide even the most basic level of customer service, they have no business being in the hospitality industry. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel at all costs unless you want to risk being stranded and treated with utter indifference. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had, and it’s clear they don’t care about their customers at all.

Superb location, lovely friendly hotel. Special mention and thank you to Elsa on the front desk who was so helpful; nothing was too much trouble.

The room was quite worn out. It needs some painting, cleaning of the pillows on the sofa and around the roof window on the first floor. Toilet on the ground floor cannot flush 100%. All staff were very helpful and kind. The apartment had a nice view to the mountains and is perfectly placed in the middle of the village. Check out at 10:00am is a little too early.

Yelp
Stayed here before and after hiking the Tour du Mont Blanc and highly recommend. The hotel itself is lovely with such a cute lobby/breakfast area, the people working at reception are so friendly and helpful, and the location is so convenient in Chamonix to run pre-hike errands or treat yourself to post-hike dinner and dessert. The hotel also stored our extra bags for us for free(!) for the 8 days that we were gone hiking which was so appreciated (many other hotels in the area charge per day for bag storage)!

Yelp
I stayed at Hotel le Faucigny for three nights before and after hiking the Tour de Mont Blanc and I only have good things to say about it. The location is prime - right in Chamonix and there is a hot tub and spa that I heard were quite nice. They provide a complementary breakfast in the morning that includes a variety of yogurts and cereals, several different types of fantastic fresh bread, lots of fruit, eggs, ham, coffee, and juices. It is one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Plus they provide tea and cookies in the later afternoon. Although the rooms are small, I found them beyond adequate. They provide bathrobes and slippers, provide soaps, shampoo, and lotions, and have nice bathtubs in the room. Our showerhead was one of those rain showerheads, which I really enjoyed. Plus, the free wifi works in the rooms. My only warning is to tall people - the ceilings are slanted and quite short, making it difficult for the tall gentleman on my trek. Even I bumped my head a few times getting into the bathroom, and I'm only 5'6"!

Yelp
Very charming hotel in a terrific location. We woke up each morning to a view of Mont Blanc. The young ladies working at the front desk were AMAZING! --friendly, welcoming, bringing us free coffee in the morning, setting up drinks and snacks in the late afternoon. The room was small, but not too small. Hot tub was very relaxing. Only criticism is the weak wi-fi connection in the rooms - it was fine in the lobby area. I would definitely stay here when back in Chamonix. An extra treat: go to the gaufres (waffles) stand to the left of McDonalds for a scrumptious treat after 2:30 PM.
