Hôtel & Spa Le Faucigny

We had a fabulous stay with a combo of hotel room and apartment which was perfect for our group. The staff were amazing and helped with all sorts of requests. Nothing was too much trouble. We had the breakfast included which I would highly recommend. Great way to fuel up for a day’s skiing. We will definitely come back and stay again. Thank you team Le Faucigny!! ☺️

Great hotel! Highly recommend! I stayed here with my 21yr old daughter and we had an amazing time! The staff are fantastic (- more detail on them in a minute.) The hotel is adorable, rooms are clean and safe, breakfast delicious, location perfect, spa and hot tub just what you need at the end of a ski day, there is ski storage and a heated room with boot drying racks with it's own exit door. (Side note - if you plan on renting, use Sanglard Rentals as they will deliver your equipment to the hotel and pick up at the end of your stay - couldn't be easier!) The hotel location is ideal - the Brevent Gondola is walking distance (there is also a ski bus stop close by if you don't fancy the short but steep hill but I'm in my 50's and walked it and it's really not that bad!); you are right in the middle of the adorable town centre with lots of restaurants, bars, shops; the hotel itself is quiet even though it's so central, and it's walking distance from the train station. (Side note - if you plan to take the train, ask reception for the free Guest Card which allows your free train travel. We took the train to Valorcines to ski Le Tour one day - well worth the visit! and the train is scenic and more comfortable that then busy SkiBuses. But you do need the GuestPass -,don't try and do the train with your Chamonix Pass as the ticket inspectors won't accept that! The hotel staff are reason enough for you to book your stay here! They saved our day! Our airport transfer back to Geneva, booked with our ski holiday package through a UK ski travel company was a No Show!! Super stressful!! After a stressful 50min phone call with the ski travel company, trying to determine how they were going to get us to the airport in time for our flight, the amazingly helpful receptionists intervened, booked us a taxi and made sure we made our flight!! They went above and beyond to look after us and we would have missed our flight and ended up in an awful state without their help. All in all, Le Faucigny is a great hotel. Awesome experience staying at Hotel & Spa Le Faucigny! The location is prime in the city where is easily accessed to supermarkets, shops, and slopes. I was really enjoyable during my stay there. My friend and I also decided to add on breakfast during our snowboarding days and it was decent and value to its price. Highly recommended!

Great location in the centre of Chamonix. Small but cosy boutique hotel, full of character. Staff were absolutely amazing, so helpful and kind. I would definitely stay there again.

Le Faucigny was a fantastic launchpad for our Haute Route. The staff and service were excellent and the common areas are gorgeous. We loved the little courtyard to relax after the hustle and bustle of the town. The room was on the smaller side, but the fluffy bathrooms made up for the lack in space.

We had a great time at the Le Faucigny hotel, it has everything you need for a couple days long stay like we had. We enjoyed the closeness to the town center and also to nature, it's the perfect combination and we did not need our car at all during our stay. (The hotel offers parking too!) The room was very comfortable, though ours might have been a tad small for a longer stay, but for our 2 nights it was perfect! The hotel also has a spa section with sauna and a hot tub, which we used on both nights, it was great! The breakfast was also nice with the delicious French croissants and cheeses. Overall, this a great hotel, fully recommended!

The location here was perfect, we wanted to be in the heart of the village of Chamonix. The staff, the service was fantastic. We had an excellent stay!

The reception was very welcoming and kind. The room was beautiful, clean, and cozy. The location is excellent, and the view is absolutely unforgettable — truly breathtaking! Unfortunately, there’s no free parking. You’ll need to pay €15 per day to park through the hotel. Still, the experience and the view make it all worth it. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed here before and after hiking the Tour du Mont Blanc and highly recommend. The hotel itself is lovely with such a cute lobby/breakfast area, the people working at reception are so friendly and helpful, and the location is so convenient in Chamonix to run pre-hike errands or treat yourself to post-hike dinner and dessert. The hotel also stored our extra bags for us for free(!) for the 8 days that we were gone hiking which was so appreciated (many other hotels in the area charge per day for bag storage)!

I stayed at Hotel le Faucigny for three nights before and after hiking the Tour de Mont Blanc and I only have good things to say about it. The location is prime - right in Chamonix and there is a hot tub and spa that I heard were quite nice. They provide a complementary breakfast in the morning that includes a variety of yogurts and cereals, several different types of fantastic fresh bread, lots of fruit, eggs, ham, coffee, and juices. It is one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Plus they provide tea and cookies in the later afternoon. Although the rooms are small, I found them beyond adequate. They provide bathrobes and slippers, provide soaps, shampoo, and lotions, and have nice bathtubs in the room. Our showerhead was one of those rain showerheads, which I really enjoyed. Plus, the free wifi works in the rooms. My only warning is to tall people - the ceilings are slanted and quite short, making it difficult for the tall gentleman on my trek. Even I bumped my head a few times getting into the bathroom, and I'm only 5'6"!

Very charming hotel in a terrific location. We woke up each morning to a view of Mont Blanc. The young ladies working at the front desk were AMAZING! --friendly, welcoming, bringing us free coffee in the morning, setting up drinks and snacks in the late afternoon. The room was small, but not too small. Hot tub was very relaxing. Only criticism is the weak wi-fi connection in the rooms - it was fine in the lobby area. I would definitely stay here when back in Chamonix. An extra treat: go to the gaufres (waffles) stand to the left of McDonalds for a scrumptious treat after 2:30 PM.
