Hotel & Südtiroler Gasthaus Restaurant Gassenwirt

If you’re a foodie like us, you’ll love this place! We enjoyed everything we tried from the "canederli" to the "coscia di pollo con peperonata". The "strudel" was a crowd-pleaser! The service was excellent and we highly recommended this restaurant.

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions for us. Food was absolutely amazing, traditional Sudtirol food with homegrown veggie, which very surprised us. Excellent menu. Staff are well educated and make great recommendations. We thank our waiter Mariana for great hospitality and service. Looking forward to eat there again.

Nice hotel, and very pleasant service. The food was good and half board price was a very good deal. The downside for us was that our was room facing the main road, so it was very noisy from early morning. It was a particularly hot August even on the Alps and the room was extremely hot during the night. There is a small indoor swimming-pool, but it gets very crowded in the late afternoon (we were there on the last week of school holidays and many Italians with children were there to escape the heat of the cities) . I think i would have given 4 stars having had a room facing the internal side.

The food, service and atmosphere all come together to create a exquisite experience. Every dish is prepared with care and creativity from südtirol . Quality food excellent 💙 price💙 highly recommended visiting during this time, they take so seriously the epidemic crisis wearing face mask ,and keeping clean the entire place so there's no problem at all. We spent a lovely well remembered week at Gassenwirt hotel.|Specious room, with comfortable beds and nice winter terrace was big enough for a family on winter skiing holidays. Clean bathroom with refreshing shower. Small balcony with a view at the backyard.|The hotel is just 15 minutes drive (or riff on a ski bus) to Kronplatz skiing area.|Hotelvfacilities include small indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, two dry and one steam sauna (with a guest performance of wellness advisor on one day)|Great breakfasts, interesting thematical dinners (but with few chef's failures).|Great helpful and attentive team of owners and wait staff.|Great neighbouring old church with small graveyard with a visit.|WiFi needs improvement due to limited performance with full house.

Restaurant was nice. Beautiful details, food is local and tasted great. Service is excellent and the wine list consists of local varieties. We had a wonderful evening.

Wonderful location, friendly people, excellent food, saunas, small swimming pool, very reasonable price. If you like hiking, skiing and great food in a pleasant atmosphere, this is the perfect place. We will be back...!
