Binion’s plans a new revolving bar; The Strat has more dining and drinking on the way. | Eater Vegas

"I note Hotel Apache plans to offer 81 rooms furnished in a vintage style reminiscent of the original Hotel Apache that opened in 1932." - Susan Stapleton

We went during the week for a budget friendly trip. The rooms are small but clean and very comfortable. I would suggest asking for a room on the north side. We had to change rooms when on the Freemont side due to the noise. Sylvia at the front desk was so gracious, kind and accommodating. We also had the most fun gambling at Binnions Casino. We will be back for sure.

We stayed here for one night during our road trip and it was fine for a short stopover. The staff at the reception was very kind and helpful, and there was also free parking available, which we really appreciated. The room itself was clean. However, right after we arrived, a piece of the door frame fell down, which didn’t make the best first impression. The room had no windows that could be opened or let in natural light, and unfortunately, there was a big concert taking place right under the windows, so we didn’t get much sleep. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for just one night, but definitely not for a longer stay.

Stayed from July 27 - Aug 3 2025 |Hotel Apache is a vintage style hotel. I cannot confirm or deny it is haunted but it is a great affordable room. The room I received was as advertised and was very clean. If you like the Freemont Street Esperance it is in the center right on one of the corners. It also has a great cab stand that is easy to access. |Pros: |Price- As of July 2025 it was the most affordable being around $100 less than the big name casinos|Location- It is inside Binion's Casio on one of the corners of the Freemont Street Experience. The hotel is also a much smaller being 3 floors so it was much easier to access than a big name hotel with dozens of floors. It is also around the Deuce bus line so it is easy to get to the strip. |Cleanliness- The room I got was clean and well stocked for the week I stayed. The room was vintage, with period wood work, floors, and fixtures & decor. ||Cons: |Location- If you want to take the Deuce Bus into the strip it is around the last stop (Freemont Street Esperance) and to go into the strip you need to walk a few blocks to The Heart Attack Grill. As of July 2025, it is also not a stop through Bell Transportation and you need to be dropped off at The Golden Nugget and walk through to get there. But being inside Binion's it is a short walk. Also it does not have a secure elevator, but as of July 2025 the rooms use a key card system.|Sound- The walls within the hotel are thin so you can hear whoever is next door, but the walls outside of the hotel you cannot hear the Freemont Street Esperance ||My room also had one window for light with no view. ||Hotel Apache is probably the best budget hotel in Las Vegas not only in room quality but location. Everything went well for my trip and when I go back to Las Vegas I will definitely use this hotel again

God where to begin. At midnight I needed new sheets and comforter, because my girlfriend was claiming them in the bathroom. Typical Vegas, I tried calling down to front desk no answer. Walked down to front desk, no one was there. Had to call another number, told me to talk to security about getting new sheets and comforters. Security thought it was|Obvious threat and reacted appropriately. No harm against them. Had to walk across Fremont to a completely different hotel and casino for them to hand me sheets and blankets and cross the strip again. I walked across actual streets and casinos to get my new blankets and sheets to my room. Was god damn ridiculous to cross multiple streets for there “sister hotel” to say good luck. Ridiculous

Now. This is not a 5 star room or facility. However! The room was super clean, especially the shower. The bed is not fancy, but fine. This is a great place for an inexpensive room. 5 stars based on the A/C getting the room icy with 100 degree day. Will stay here again.

I really enjoyed this place. The rooms are adequate but not particularly special. However, the staff and overall vibe are excellent. All the staff members I engaged with were smiling and helpful. Some of them had been working there for decades. As a guest, a happy staff really makes the stay much more pleasant. And for me, Fremont Street is much more entertaining and inviting than the Strip.

Booked via Booking.com - no where did it state that this was a haunted hotel... but that was not to deter us. Having finally managing to navigate to park the car, the hotel reception is slap bang in the middle of the ground floor casino. On check-in the room requires a $100 holding deposit. ||The room was small, dark and dingey with an door that connected to the next bedroom. My wife went to see if there was any alternative bedroom available; however she was greeted by rude and obnoxious receptionist. ||The hotel is advertised with a roof-top pool... this is in the connecting sister hotel, located on floor 23 (accessed via going through the casino). This is only available from 9am-6pm; by the time we managed to navigate and locate where the pool was this was unfortunately closed. ||It is approx. 10-15 minute taxi ride to the Las Vegas Strip, however this are buses located near by. ||Our room was literally facing out onto Fremont Street... you might as well have been sleeping on the actual street itself - loud and noisy is an understatement. The music goes on into the early hours of the morning (approx. 2am), with most casinos open until 4am - 4:30am. ||No coffee machine is available in the room. Basic is an understatement.

Positive: Right in the middle of Fremont Street and no resort fee. Negative: Poor Wi-Fi connection this trip. It was better in April. This time I was "connected" but might as well not have been. I was able to use my phone as a hot spot . . . but that shouldn't be necessary.
