Aranwa Cusco Boutique Hotel – Hotel Review | Condé Nast Traveler
"Tradition wins out in this 16th-century colonial-style mansion just two blocks from the Plaza de Armas, Cusco’s main square. Full of colonial sculpture and artwork, along with period antiques, gilded headboards, and crystal chandeliers, the hotel feels like a historical movie set—only updated with modern amenities like heated floors in the bathrooms and an oxygen system to prevent altitude sickness. From the coca tea you sip on arrival to the traditional Andean food at Mishti Mestizo Restaurant—corn soup, shrimp in organic quinoa, alpaca loin with Peruvian tubers—and the pisco sour nightcapper at Khasikay Bar, you’ll feel thoroughly seduced by the flavors of this unique Incan city."
This is my second visit to Aranwa Sacred Valley. I went with my family 3 adults, two children of 6 and 10. The Colonial Suite and Family Lago Suite were comfortable and beautifully decorated from we enjoyed what we were searching for: peace and rest. |The Spa Unno is one of the best, I took the Detox bath with local medicinal plants and it was totally relaxing, after that I slept for hours. I want to thank Marlene and Yudelina who made my experience enjoyable and secure due her care. Thanks a lot ! |Also, thanks to all the staff at Breakfast Room and Staff Reception, days before my arrival Mr. Julio Martinez guided and answered my questions and arranged my transport from Cusco Airport to Aranwa Sacred Valley, he made us feel at home Thank you Julio and Al Aranwa Sacred Valley Staff. I will be back for sure.

You can’t beat the location. You can’t beat the service. You can’t beat the amenities. Heated floors in the bathroom, delicious food in the restaurant (try the lamb shank), and an overall terrific atmosphere. The people who work here are clearly dedicated to making every guest’s stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, and they succeed. So glad I was able to spend my time in Cusco here. Thank you to all the hardworking people who made my stay so lovely.

We had an amazing stay while here for two nights. Gonzalo especially made it memorable when I asked if they could do anything special for our friend’s birthday, he went above and beyond to make it special! All of the staff were extremely kind and helpful. We hope to come back one day!

Some of the friendliest, most helpful staff I’ve ever met. The location, ambience, and amenities can’t be beat. It’s a beautiful hotel, very clean, comfortable, and with a great restaurant. Try the lamb shank! I hope to be back in Cusco one of these days, and this hotel will be at the top of my list. Highly recommend!

The Hotel was conveniently located close to the Plaza. Breakfast was good and the staff was attentive. The hotel itself is very beautiful and has antique collection that you can casually look at while you are strolling around the hotel. Our suite was very cozy and we heated floors added a nice touch. Very luxurious.

Best service, Kind staff, proximity to Plaza and best restaurants. I definitely recommend this hotel. They allow you to keep your luggage if you go on two day trip like Machu Pichhu etc.

We really enjoyed our stay at Aranwa Cusco. First, the location was perfect, on a side street, away from the noise, but close to everything including the Chocolate Museum :). The hotel staff, especially Gonzalo and Guido, were very awesome and so helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel is a work of art.

The service and the location of the hotel
are excellent. The staff of the hotel are all friendly and helpful. The room overall is great. The bathroom is spacious and has two sets of vanities. The only thing I think is a downside is the window is facing the hallway, but that also makes the room quiet depends on your preference.
