The good.||Bedding, bed, pillows extremely comfortable. Shower powerful and lovely big soft towels. Black out curtains too. ||Nice touch to have free drinks in the fridge in the room and water replenished every day. Coffee downstairs, although free from 12-8, was awful.||The location of the hotel is great. |7 mins walk from the bus station, 5 mins walk from the great Simona Coffee Club and even closer to Gerald's Bar.||I didn't eat breakfast but it looked delicious.||Staff were friendly, approachable and helpful re where to get a particular bus from etc.||The good / bad.||The gym is small. For a light framed woman like me, the weight selection was sufficient but a heavier man might like some heavier weights. The multi gym needs maintenance. i see it a lot in some hotel gyms; equipment is provided but not maintained and then it quickly becomes unusable. The wires need oiling, the bolt that enables the seat to be moved is stuck solid, probably with rust. The cross trainer is not working and because of where it's positioned, it makes the seated row function of the multi gym unusable. Personally, I would remove the cross trainer and replace it with a decent bench.||The spinning bike was working fully though and pretty decent.||The gym booking system could perhaps do with a re think. I'd booked for every morning when making my room booking yet one morning, I was told I hadn't booked and someone else was in there. ||The bad.||On the second day, I reported to the hotel receptionist, about 8 am, that the armchair in my room was impossible to sit on as it had a horrible metal spring at the top of the cushion, so instead of sitting on a padded cushion, I was sitting on twisted lump of metal/spring. I mentioned it again on day 3 as it hadn't been replaced. I mentioned it again on day 4 as it still hadn't been replaced and it was eventually replaced late afternoon on day 4, just before I was leaving the next day. Not good enough for the price i was paying for the room and for a 4 start hotel.||||One the whole, the good outweighed the bad and I'd definitely stay again.
