The Best Cheap Meals In Mexico City

"Atlante has two locations in Roma, and was one of the first pizza-by-the-slice restaurants in CDMX. They’re New York in style, but tailored to Mexico City: the tomato sauce is very slightly spiked with chile serrano, and you can always add extra salsa—their best is a spicy mix of chile serranos, cilantro, garlic, and cream. They do traditional plain cheese slices and your standard margherita, but our top pick is the toluqueña with green chorizo, stracciatella, and kale with a slightly crispy crust for $3.50. Before you leave, order the only dessert on the menu: a concha filled with tiramisu." - guillaume guevara

The room is spacious, but very dark. This hotel apparently serves as love hotel. You will hear people having sex all night… literally! There’s almost no sound installation. So consider it seriously

Incredible value for money. We've stayed here a few times now. Rooms are spacious and clean, we have no issues with noise but the corridors are echoey, so you hear people coming and going. It's no big deal. Breakfast is basic, but it's amazing that it's included for the price. Free, secure parking is a big bonus too and great free WiFi and Cable TV in the room. Very pleasant neighborhood with easy transport connections to get around town. I really cannot fault this hotel based on the price it charges, I've stayed in far worse hotels for double the price.

Super noisy The house keeping throw away my documents and no possibility to have a "do not disturb" sign to avoid it Incredible They literally decided to throw away papers on the desk, which matters for me wtf And plus, they make announcements in the speaker from 9am wtf They probably don't know what a hotel is. people sleep and they don't care at all I wish I could give less than 1 star Never go there expect if you're mazochist, then you will enjoy your time.

Came here for 4 nights while exploring Mexico City as it is in a very nice area and accessible from the places you wan to go. Lovely reception and service staff, very comfortable rooms with good beds and showers. The breakfast was also great - taking no account than this is very cheap comparison to most other hotels. We kept or precious things in a security box in reception as he room locks didn’t look very strong and moved from the front the property as the noise on theocrat night was sometimes loud. Overall great value for money

It is in good location but service is not good. During the breakfast, we had to wait almost 30-40 minutes to get the first plate though there were only merely 8-10 people including us. With the price that you pay, it’s good.

The location of the hotel is really convenient. Just a few steps from Metro Patriotismo. The rooms are really clean and comfortable, and the bathroom too. Water's hot for a nice shower. The service includes breakfast in the morning from 8 to 12 h.

It works as a motel, you can hear EVERYTHING from the other rooms. Hotel in general smells like tabaco. Other than that, the room is spacious and there are laundry spots and mini market in front of the hotel.

Awesome hotel! We had a great stay for 8 days. Location: the hotel is a couple of blocks from a metro station. 15 min walk from the Condesa neighborhood. The area was safe, we walked around late evenings and felt quite comfortable. Rooms: we booked a king sized room. The room was spacious and had a big TV with Netflix. (You have to give a deposit of 100mxp for the remote). My only complaint is the walls are too thin and you can hear most of the noise from the hallways. Staff: the room and bathroom were spotlessly cleaned everyday. The staff at the restaurant were prompt with the breakfast service. The check in and check out was very fast. We arrived around 1AM and there were no issues with the check-in. Overall a very good hotel with great value for money. Will recommend anyone for a budget stay with easy access to the City center.
