I had this hotel saved as a place I really wanted to visit for years, and I finally had the opportunity to stay for five days, alternating between the Villa Suite and the Suite. Hotel Awa is relatively small, enhancing its exclusive atmosphere. The architecture, decor, and ambiance are excellent, and the views of Lake Llanquihue and Osorno Volcano are impressive. On clear days, you can see the snow-capped peak of Osorno Volcano, which adds to the breathtaking scenery.
The hotel is conveniently located just over an hour away from the airport, making it accessible for travelers. You can rent a car, as I did, or arrange for transportation through the hotel, which makes getting there easy and hassle-free.
The property itself is well-maintained, featuring beautiful landscaping that complements the surrounding nature. The hotel offers a range of amenities, including a relaxing spa and an inviting bar area, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The common areas are designed to enhance the experience, allowing guests to enjoy the stunning views and tranquil atmosphere.
The hotel was not crowded, contributing to its intimate feel. The staff were consistently attentive and friendly throughout my entire stay, making for a complete experience. Whether I was at the bar or dining in the restaurant, their service was exceptional. They provided helpful suggestions for drinks, food items, and local activities, which added to my overall enjoyment.
The rooms were fantastic, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that maximized the views of the lake and volcano. Each room is designed with a modern style, offering spacious layouts that prioritize comfort and relaxation. Overall, my stay at Hotel Awa was a memorable experience, combining luxury, comfort, and stunning views.
