"This boutique hotel doubles as a museum of Art Noveau jewelry. Located in the former El Regulador palace, it once housed 19th-century jewelry workshops. Rooms are cozy, and the terrace bar and pool area offer a close view of the stonework façade of the nearby church." - Travel + Leisure Editors

My stay at Bagués Hotel was exceptional. The hotel’s boutique charm, luxurious decor, and central location made it a perfect base to explore the city. The staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring every need was met with warmth and professionalism. My room was beautifully designed, offering both comfort and style, with thoughtful amenities that added to the experience. The rooftop terrace with its stunning views was a highlight. I highly recommend Bagués Hotel for anyone seeking a unique and memorable stay.||||

Great little boutique hotel in a great location on the Ramblas. Now associated with the Hilton group, but be warned, you only get your Honors benefits / loyalty points if you book via the Hilton website (and not via an agency). Rooms are very well decorated, roomy, bottled water, good tea and coffee, and little balconies (not for actually going out onto though!). Staff are very friendly, good English, and helpful. Concierge are knowledgeable, and the door man knows all the great places to get breakfast and tapas. Highly recommended, more for a romantic kit boutique stay than a business trip.

We used Hilton Points to exchange for a stay here while in Barcelona. Great location right next to the best market in town. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Hotel is beautiful but our room had a bit of a mildew smell. Has a bathtub which is rare, water and chocolates in our room on arrive with mini bar included. Service is top notch. Beautiful rooftop terrace and pool( too cold for us to use in Dec)

My 16 year old daughter and I received top notch service from the moment we arrived until we left 8 days later. The hotel was quiet, comfortable, had a wonderful breakfast, and the staff was very attentive. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and will stay here again if we return to the beautiful Barcelona!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bagues. The location was excellent and the level of service was impeccable. The interior was beautifully decorated and the rooms were very comfortable. They even had a pillow menu! When I booked the room I was a little concerned about the street noise, but we had a room along Las Rambles and were not bothered by the noise at all. Would highly recommend this special hotel.

Location, location, location. This small Derby Hotel property is perfectly located to enjoy the many offerings of Barcelona. Nearby walk, road (taxi) and subway routes exist to most major attractions. The front staff (desk and bellman were exceptionally helpful any time of the day. Breakfast buffet was filled with options and waitstaff was pleasant, friendly and prompt.

A hotel with a good location, amazing breakfast, decent rooms, but an experience soured by the front desk (refusing me access to the gym unless I proved I'm going to workout). I'm currently staying at the hotel, mid-way into a five night stay,, and while the location is perfect, the hotel's level of service is shocking. For a room that runs on average $4-500 a night, and a hotel that advertises itself as a 5* hotel, the front desk not only denied me a <$.25 water bottle, but also would not let me access the gym to fetch some on my own. They have free water bottles in the gym, so I asked politely if I could have one of those instead of going down to the gym to retrieve one (note you have to call to reserve the gym and can't scan in directly). The lady at the front desk asks "are you going to workout?" to which I responded honestly saying I want to grab one of the water bottles from the gym (which for the record, is an outrageous question to ask a guest, and one that I've never experienced at any 5 star hotel I've stayed at in Europe). After I responded honestly, she denied me gym access, denied me water access, and told me to go to a convenience store to buy some myself (it's 11pm here). I wish the manager was here to speak with as I felt like I was dreaming when arguing with the front desk. Won't be staying here again for the sole reason that I was embarrassed over a $.25 water and told to go out and buy some. What a way to ruin an overall good experience.

My only regret is that we didn't have more time at this hotel. Service is fantastic, the hotel is impeccable, and the location is perfect for tourists eager to get a lot of sightseeing in. We only had one night because we were only flying in and out of Barcelona but we were able to see many sights despite our limited time. The shower was possibly the best I've ever had. Putting on the soft robe and slippers was a lovely way to spend one last night before a long flight back to North America. ||Despite being right on Les Rambles, we slept well because the soundproofing was excellent. ||The candy at reception was an added bonus!

Yelp
This is one of nicest hotels in which I have stayed, regardless of price point (ie, I have stayed at innumerable hotels that are more expensive but not nearly as nice). The staff is simply incredible -- courteous, friendly, and eager to help. The room is cozy but impeccably clean and stylishly appointed. Breakfast was perfect. The location was also spot on for our purposes -- right on La Rambla.

Yelp
Nice quaint, clean and professional staff and hotel. I had to request my room to be cleaned every day and then again for them to remove my dirty glasses and coffee cups as those were always left behind for some unknown reason. Although this place sits right on the busy, busy street of Las Ramblas, the noise from the constant parade of sightseers was not heard in the room, thankfully. However, the constant noise of EVERY DOOR opening and closing was heard throughout the floor EVERY MORNING! Making it hard to sleep or sleep in. Very annoying. For this reason ALONE, I would not recommend the hotel. Additionally, one of the reasons I booked this hotel is because it claims to have a "vibrant" rooftop pool and bar. Although, it was dead every time and every evening. And the "pool" is nothing more than a large bathtub. Too pricey for the experience in my opinion .

Yelp
The property is in the perfect location and the staff (Richard) is beyond professional and courteous!! we would definitely stay here again. It is very modern and clean! Beautiful luxurious towels and bath robes. Wonderful shower with very large shower head and great water pressure! Great closet space to put clothes- two sides to the closet and shelves in between. All of the floors are marble so it is easy to hear doors shutting and elevators opening during the night. We just went and bought a $10 fan down the street and it solved the problem and created perfect white noise. Highly recommend this property.

Yelp
First class in all respects. This is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Barcelona, right on Ramblas, next to the St. Joseph bocarria. The rooftop pool is tiny but lovely and refreshing. The interior architecture is stunning -- a combination of old world and modern. There a gym, treatment room, restaurant and conference room. Service is impeccable. The staff takes care of its guests and caters to their every requirement.

Yelp
Had the most amazing time here. The staff went above and beyond for us in every way- cleaned our room multiple times per day, made reservations for dinners, got us cabs when we needed them, etc. It was a beautiful hotel with an amazing rooftop pool and bar (and amazing mojitos). And right on La Rambla next to La Boqueria!! I would recommend this place to anyone and absolutely return.

Yelp
I love this hotel! When I return to Barcelona there is not doubt that I will book this hotel again. The staff is very friendly and even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. The hotel is beautiful, everything is new, and clean. The location is perfect. A cab drive to all of Barcelona from this hotel is affordable. From $3 to $15 max unless the airport which was $30. The staff really brought this hotel up to another level by exceeding our expectations. Don't think about it book this hotel it is really the best!

Yelp
Amazing rooms, location and most of all staff. We spent three days in Barcelona and as this was my first time in Europe, we could not have picked a better location. Not only is this located on las ramblas but it's steps away from la boqueria and is perfect for people watching from your balcony. The staff were the most friendly crew I've experienced at any hotel...ever. Knowledgeable, helpful and went out of their way to help us explore. Needless to say, we would highly recommend this place to anyone going to Barcelona and can't wait to return!

Bernard G.

Yelp
A completely positive experience! The location was PERFECT. The staff were friendly, helpful, and patient. The rooms and bathrooms...spectacular. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable experience.

Yelp
Excellent location! Beautiful interior decoration and feel. The rooms were constantly kept extremely clean. The hotel staff was extremely nice and went out of their way to explain to us the best attractions to go to and where to avoid. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all friends. The only thing to note that some people may want to know: our room had relatively see through bathroom doors. So if you're not going with your significant other who you're extremely comfortable with, it may be a bit awkward.

Yelp
Beautiful interiors. Stopped by with colleagues and had dinner. I ordered the tuna tartar, gnocchi with monk fish and cheesecake. Muy delicioso!!! My colleagues had the risotto, grilled tuna and cheesecake which was equally as good. Best kept secret and very quiet setting...
