I've been to Barcelona a handful of times for work, and this was my second stay at Hotel Bagues. The hotel offers helpful bellman, reception, and concierge service, and the room had the basic amenities you’d expect for an upscale boutique property.
Having stayed at Forbes 4- and 5-star properties worldwide, I missed finer daily and turndown touches, and the absence of spa & room services.
Location on La Rambla is convenient, but ongoing construction outside led to early mornings—unavoidable, though not a deal-breaker. The front desk team, especially Roxanne, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, making the stay feel personalized.
Overall, a solid choice for reliable service and convenience.
Helpful tip: From your room, make a Nespresso, put on a bathrobe, and enjoy the quiet from the rooftop deck—beautiful views.
