We had a wonderful stay in Paris at Hotel Baume. Great hospitality and convenient location! The room is quiet and clean and the hotel is within walking distance to many attractions. A special thank you to Martin at reception who made both our check-in and check-out smooth and welcoming. He also made some great suggestions of local restaurants for us. 10/10 highly recommend!

My husband and I have just come back to England from the trip of a lifetime to Paris. We adored staying at Hotel Baume. We booked our flights and hotel through British Airways (including breakfast). We’ve seen so many positive reviews and they’re all correct - this is the hotel for you in Paris. The hotel is in a quiet street, feels very safe and it’s beautiful. The breakfast is filling, perfect fuel for Paris adventures, and delicious. I’m still dreaming of the cheese assortment I had each day! Thank you to the breakfast team who worked hard every day to get the orders just right. The rooms and spaces across the hotel are impeccably clean - thank you to your dedicated staff who care so much about this and who were attentive in re-setting our room so nicely each day. The classic room was everything we needed it to be for a 3 night trip. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. A huge thank you goes to Martin and Alexander who are excellent in their jobs as the welcoming faces of Hotel Baume. Martin greeted us as we arrived at the hotel, made us smile, made sure we knew where everything was, and put as at ease — it was a real joy to meet him and wave to him each day! We checked out of the hotel with Alexander’s assistance and he is also a real credit to the hotel, being kind and gentle, patient with questions, and thoughtful. You can tell how much these two young men value and enjoy their jobs at the hotel and they made the experience special for us through their kindness. The hotel is situated in a quiet street, and yet in amongst the beauty of the Latin Quarter, its bookshops, Jardin du Luxembourg and Notre Dame. We took our books (bought from Shakespeare and Company) and sat in Jardin du Luxembourg for hours on end — the hotel being such a short distance away was perfect for this. We will be back one day and I will dream about that!

Nice and modern hotel in good location. Reasonably priced compared to other options in Paris. Room not big but had everything you need including a desk. Breakfast a little on expensive side.

Beautiful hotel, decor is stunning. The staff were really welcoming, carried our bags to our room and showed us all around before leaving us to settle in. Our views from our room were overlooking other properties, but was quiet and peaceful at night. Umbrellas were encouraged to use, and located by the main entrance and were used often by us as there was a bit of rain, which wasn't going to put us off sight seeing! The location is perfect to walk to the metro and all the main sights, but it was so peaceful with lots of cafes and shops nearby. Using the metro was easy to pay for (navigo card) and easy to move around Can't wait to plan another trip to Paris and would recommend stay at Hotel Baume next time!!

I cannot recommend Hôtel Baume highly enough. We had planned a trip to Paris, but due to a sudden case of Force Majeure and the resulting cancellation of our flight , we were physically unable to travel. Despite our reservation being 'Non-Refundable' through Agoda (Agoda initially refused to return our money), the hotel management acted with incredible grace and empathy. and ensured all cancellation fees were waived so we could receive our refund. It is rare to find such compassion in the travel industry. While we are disappointed to have missed our stay this time, we have already decided that Hôtel Baume will be our only choice for our next visit to Paris. Thank you for being a true highlight of hospitality during a difficult time for our family.

Stayed four nights with my husband and young adult daughter. Fabulous location in walking distance to many local attractions. Quiet location with lovely, clean rooms. We had connecting rooms with street views. Reasonable size for Paris. Great water pressure in the shower. Caring, helpful staff who were very supportive due to our delayed luggage. Breakfast was so so. Lots of close options that worked better for us. Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Baume.

Convenient location near Jardin Luxembourg, and Blvd. St. Germaine in a safe neighborhood. The hotel itself is small, charming, and very clean. A limited breakfast is available and there is a small honors bar in the lobby. Like most hotels, the room are not large. My husband and I had a junior suite for two weeks and we were very comfortable. This room includes a king bed and pull out sofa. Most of all the staff is lovely. Professional, friendly attentive people. I recommend with 5 stars!

What a gem. We arrived very early Sunday morning and came here to his very bright and vibrant little hotel, that had immediate charm. We were greeted by an extremely kind and helpful front desk girl, rude of us we never caught her name, that took her time talking to us and help providing details of things nearby and things to be aware of since we came during Christmas and things could be closed. The bedrooms were darling and comfortable with fantastic showers. At night we slept with the window open on this sleepy little street and nothing ever work us. Next time I go to Paris, I'm staying here again.

Hotel Baume is centrally located in the 6th arrondissement, steps from the imposing Odeon Theater and a short walk to Paris's iconic Luxembourg Garden. The 1930's themed chic hotel earns high marks for service and cleanliness. Rooms are all individually adorned with distinctive decoration and are spacious by Paris standards. We travelled through Europe during a heat wave and the air conditioning held up well. On the downside, there isn't much besides your room, a small breakfast dining area, and the front desk. There is an "honor bar" - but not much otherwise. Then again, you're in Paris, so there's always a lively café right around the corner.

The Baume was a nice place to stay. It's located in the 6th arrondissement, a busy hub. However, the hotel is slightly off the beaten path and provides comfortable noiseless nights. I stayed for two weeks in a suite with its own private courtyard. The design of the suite is great; it comes with a separate bed chamber, a toilet, a bathroom, living room, and sitting room. Housekeeping is immaculate as expected. They changed bedsheets, bathrobes and slippers without me having to ask them to do so. In the evening, they come the second time to tidy up the suite so the place is always clean and neat. Front desk staff are very helpful and gracious. Half way through my stay I received a thank-you note that also said it was supposed to come with a drink. I have no idea what the drink was because there was none. The last few days of my stay, there was a water leak. Although they tried, the issue was not fix and the room smelled like wet rag. Without this incident, my two-week stay would be perfect.

Terrific hotel. Front office staff very helpful before my arrival and during my stay. The bathroom is divine with rain shower head, heated towel racks and glass shower enclosure. Room was spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was plentiful and served in very chic spot

This is a small but very clean and modern hotel in a wonderful location! Staff was courteous and eager to help in anyway to help us with local recommendations. I really enjoyed my stay and have recommended this hotel to other friends visiting Paris. Keep up the nice work, Hotel Baume

The staff was very nice, it felt like 5 stars service. The rooms were small but fully updated and functional and the neighborhood was nice. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

Warning to those who are trying to book Hotel Baume - they are completely inflexible with reservations and if for some reason you are unable to travel to Paris and you've booked a non-refundable room, they will not make an exception. This hotel looked lovely and we were very excited to stay there but when our plans changed it was very disappointing that they would not give us a refund. It is 4 weeks out and they could definitely fill the room with another guest, but instead they remain INFLEXIBLE. Warning to other travelers - carefully review the conditions of your reservation, this hotel does not work with guests to resolve situations well.

Loved staying on this quiet street in St Germaine right next to the Luxembourg gardens! The rooms are pretty small but overall cute boutique hotel with good service. We enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Baume in mid-October and we had an outstanding experience. The location is perfect...quiet street but close to great wine bars, restaurants, shopping and nightlife. The room itself was super-clean, beautifully furnished and quiet. The bed was so comfy that I slept like I was at home. The bathroom was perfectly appointed and the shower had aggressive water pressure...just the way I like it....and I felt rejuvenated after my long days walking the city. The front desk staff helped us with dinner reservations, transport to the airport and directions. They were friendly and very accommodating. We will stay at Hotel Baume again for all the reasons above and more that I likely forgot to mention!

My family was affected by the recent tragedy in Nice and as a result we were unable to keep our travel plans to Paris. I called the hotel myself and spoke with a woman named SANDRINE who claimed she was a manager. Despite the awful circumstances, the hotel would not refund our stay despite the fact that we had to immediately return home as result of the violence and injuries endured in Nice. Instead, SANDRINE repeatedly told me there was "nothing" she could do and that "our situation was not her problem". When I pointed out that she was choosing to do nothing she hung up on me. This added a lot of insult to an already terrible situation. I've been traveling to France for nearly 4 decades. Never in my life have I ever encountered the stereotypical rude Parisan that is portrayed by the media. That is until I spoke with SANDRINE. I was horrified to know that a person like this exists in the world - someone who would choose to benefit from another's tragedy. What kind of person does that? What kind of business does that? The worst AirBNB in the city would be better than giving the Hotel Baume a dime of your money. 84 people were killed, countless others injured and all they care about is making money. Disgusting. We specifically booked our trip after the attacks this past fall as we wanted to show support for France via tourism. Instead we are now being punished for it. I'm so sad that people like SANDRINE and business like Hotel Baume exist in the world. My only hope is that the owners of this so called establishment read this and realize that she should not be representing their business. If I do not hear from them and receive a satisfactory solution, I'll assume they intend for their business to to profit off the unspeakable tragedy. I'd also like to note that we specific choose to stay at this type of establishment rather than an AirBNB so as to assume the type of accommodation we would be getting. Friends and family we were traveling with and also affected by the events in Nice had booked elsewhere (1 with a hotel (pre-paid, nonrefundable) and 1 with AirBNB (also prepaid non-refundable) and in both cases, given the situation each were refunded with no issue. I'd be happy to recommend that instead of staying with these awful people that you instead go to Le Prince Regent on the next block over. We only considered this awful place because the LPR was booked. The fact that I even have to resort to posting this review (after writing to the hotel's owners and not receiving a response after more than 2 weeks' time) turns my stomach.

Super thrilled with our one night stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. We honeymooned in Brussels but spent two days and a night in Paris. This hotel was perfect for us and I wish we could have stayed longer. We jumped on the 40E upgrade to a suite with a balcony and were not disappointed - it was such a captivating way to start our Paris trip. The balcony was gorgeous and full of fresh flowers and the room and bathroom were wonderful. My husband thought the bed was hard but I didn't notice. The service at the hotel was super - they could not have been friendlier or more helpful. We also loved their 'honesty bar' - they had a great white bordeaux. I liked the location as well - close to the Odeon metro, the Jardin de Luxembourg, and walking distance to a bunch of good restaurants and bars at nighttime. Would stay again. Glad we booked directly through their website - you get a better price and a free drink :)
