"Japanese chef Kohei Ohata skilfully harnesses the flavours of the Mediterranean fare that abounds in the surrounding markets to produce really appealing dishes. His talented wife brings her skills to bear on the pastry section. It is all fresh, fragrant and charged at a fair price. This excellent establishment is a little hidden away in the Hotel Belesso – reserved for those in the know, and all the better for it." - Michelin Inspector

We spend 3 days at this hotel restaurant. The rooms are functional and our room had a terras overlooking a beautiful garden and a big pool. The restaurant is really excellent. If you are not staying at the hotel it's worth to spend an evening at this place. Tasty french dishes with a Japanese touch. The Japanese chef is a master of the French cuisine, using good local products. The personnel is very attentive and efficient. We enjoyed our stay here very much .

We spent two days here over Christmas. The proximity to Arles and the in-house restaurant were the main attractions for us. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were very friendly and accommodating for our kids. The family room was perfect for us, although there is a steep staircase to the second bed/bath. Given the season, we didn't get to utilize the pool and other outdoor facilities. Overall, I'd definitely recommend if you're in the area for a few days.

Great hotel with nice rooms. Breakfast buffet was good as was their lunch but it doesn't start until 3. The evening dinner I think starts at 7:30 and you should make a reservation. The food is fantastic with 3 different entrees to choice from. Well worth the money. Everyone was extremely nice. Definitely recommend Hotel Belesso if you're looking to stay somewhere in Provence.

A delightful family owned hotel, in a quiet and pretty village. Hotel Belesso has old world charm which lifts it far above most others. The rooms are comfortable, the service friendly and helpful, and the grounds of the hotel are extremely beautiful - a private sunken oasis which a clean pool and shady trees. We had a wonderful stay. The room would have been given 5 stars if the air conditioning was more powerful. Window shutters helped reduce the temperature, but in a heat wave I don't think the a/c would cope. That was my only concern however - in these troubled times of climate crisis - and in normal weather I would thoroughly recommend Hotel Belesso as a perfect place to stay.

Laid back feel. I needed a bathtub but we had only a shower. We requested 2 single beds more than once but got one big bed. The receptionist took care of the situation in a most efficient and friendly manner.

We ended up our week family vacation with a night at this hotel just the two of us. That was perfect: the place has an amazing garden with trees around a huge warmed pool, plus a spa. We got the breakfast on the terrace surrounded with birds and then after a dive spent a few hours chilling by the pool under the fresh air of the trees. We left rested and happy :) We want to go back for our next romantic week end :)

The hotel was beautiful but the management made some petty decisions. We were attending a wedding. Our party had most the the hotel booked out with the exception of a few rooms. On the first night a few in our group stayed up late on the patio and made a bit of noise. It was all outside the hotel but it was a but disruptive as the hotel is small and noise carries at night in the country. The hotel spoke to them and asked us not to do it again. We accomodated and made no noise after 9 pm going forward. The night of the wedding we had shuttles hired to bring the guests back to the hotel but the hotel management refused to allow them to after a certain hour due to the noise created 2 nights prior. It was a very petty thing to do. Weddings in europe go to all hours of the morning. Most of the guests had to leave the venue early to accommodate the restricted hours that the hotel imposed on us AFTER we booked the hotel out and gave them a lot of $$.
