Hotel Bowmann

"What's the vibe here? There's something enchanting about the Bowmann, which combines the sumptuous greatest hits of Parisian design for a winning combo. The building's bones are markedly Belle Epoque and Hausmannian, but the interiors—in off-whites, pale blush pinks, and flashes of red and gold—are a blend of Deco and contemporary elements. It's a feast for the eyes that also provides a comfortable, sensuous space in which to unwind. Where will we find it? The Bowmann occupies a former office building on a quiet yet central street, minutes away from some of Paris' best attractions. Got it. So tell us about the rooms—what can we expect from our accommodations? The rooms are a plush blend of soft colors and textures, mostly blushes and off-whites. And although the building's bones have been well-preserved, the hotel does feature of-the-moment tech updates, including do-not-disturb buttons that can be activated from the bed. Is there a charge for Wi-Fi? The Wi-Fi is free. The surrounding area might be cool, but if we want to stick closer to home, are there any good food and drink options on the hotel grounds? The Bowmann Bar is an elegant space that fills with Parisians after work. The restaurant 99 Haumann, meanwhile, reflects the hotel's design ethos, with a menu that's French at its core but decidedly contemporary. Make sure to try the suckling roast duck with orange and caramelized endives. And the service? With only 53 rooms, the hotel offers supremely personalized attention. Who else do you spot milling about the lobby and the bar? A chic, on-the-pulse, stylish and elegant crowd who love the discreet vibe here. Tell us a little more about the neighborhood—what's it like? The hotel sits on a quiet, tree-lined commercial street just minutes away from the Madeleine Church and the Jardins des Champs-Elysées. Oh, lovely. Dare we ask—is there anything you'd change? Absolutely nothing. Any other hotel features worth noting? If you're willing to splurge on the suite, you will be amply rewarded—it has gorgeous sunset views of the Paris skyline, as well as a private rooftop Jacuzzi. It sounds lovely. So what's the takeaway? Why is the Bowmann worth the price of admission? It's a splurge, sure, but this hotel offers a more intimate experience than its similarly priced brethren." - Todd Plummer

Hôtel Bowmann (Paris, Île-de-France) 8 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Though it’s a newcomer to the Parisian luxury-hotel scene, the Hotel Bowmann has no trouble fitting in: it’s a lively blend of classic Haussmannian architecture, modern furniture design, and contemporary decoration. The location — on Boulevard Haussmann, fittingly — is close to the Parc Monceau, and surrounded by a wealth of art galleries in the north end of the 8th. And the atmosphere, for lack of a better label, is “discreet luxury” — smaller and more intimate than Paris’s officially designated palace hotels, it’s nevertheless a thoroughly high-end experience, with no compromises made in either comfort or service." - Tablet Hotels

I recently stayed at Hotel Bowmann for the second time and couldn't recommend a better hotel in the 8th. My first stay was last year where I booked two Bowmann Superior rooms - one for myself and one for my mom. The rooms are stunning and provide the traditional Parisian aesthetic while providing modern amenities like an electric bidet, towel warmer, etc. For this year's trip, I opted for the Executive Room (Haussmann). It provided plenty of space and still had the Parisian charm all of Bowmann's rooms include. As a solo traveler this year, I felt safe at all times. The hotel is in a perfect location, near multiple shopping centers, landmarks, and many Brasseries & Michelin restaurants. It is also within walking distance of many art galleries that are fun to pop in and window shop. What made this an excellent stay was the quality of the rooms, location, and the amazing Concierge, Gérald. Gérald helped organize my airport transfer both last year and this year. He was also extremely helpful in recommending places for quick bites, offered to make reservations, and organized any shopping deliveries I had. He ensured I had everything I needed before he headed off from work each day and communicated any updates I needed. Between the hotel itself and the exceptional service, Hotel Bowmann will always be a top choice for me when visiting Paris.

My stay at Hotel Bowmann Paris was truly exceptional! The location is excellent and very safe, close to everything. The lobby is cozy, elegant, and gives a real sense of comfort and calm. The reception team were incredibly friendly, professional, and always welcoming — they made me feel completely at home. The staff at the restaurant and breakfast area were also so kind and cheerful.. It was my first trip to Paris and I was traveling alone, but I felt safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for throughout my stay. I’ve already recommended this hotel to my family and friends, and I’ll definitely be coming back again!

I have been to Paris many times and I have to say this was THE BEST experience I have ever had due to Eric the conciergerie & Morgan at the front desk🙏🏽🤩. Thank you so much to both of you for your kindness, professionalism and for making sure my mother and I had the most magical time in Paris. The rooms are spacious, especially for Paris and every detail is considered. The spa facilities are peaceful and there is a well equipped gym. This is a true five star experience where you are truly treated with care and attention. Thank you so much again to Eric & Morgan you are both truly wonderful people. 🤩✨🙏🏽

We stayed as a family of four in late Oct-early Nov 2025. Wow. What a place! Location - perfect. The 8th arrondissement is exactly as the hotels website says - discreet luxury. Great food, great wine. The perfect mix for us as a family of four. Enough child friendly options, but exciting adult-appropriate options to give you that proper Parisian experience. You can walk to almost all major tourist attractions.||We had a connecting room and it was fantastic. Heaps of space, luxurious, amazing servicing. The area we were in acted as a private wing almost - not other rooms near us at all. So when the kids were loud, it was ok.||Do yourself two favours:|1 - include breakfast. Breakfast is fantastic and the staff are brilliant.|2 - the first day you walk in, turn right and say hello to Mr. Gerald - Concierge extraordinaire. Gerald is, in his words, and in practicality, a purveyor of good addresses, fine food, and genuine local Parisian experiences. He tipped us into two brilliant restaurants preferred by locals. He also sent us to Galleries La Fayette to source a cake for our daughters birthday. He truly made our trip memorable and if you do one thing on your trip to Hotel Bowmann, it should be connecting with this fine ambassador.||Great place, will definitely be back, highly recommend!

The Bowmann Hotel is a five-star boutique property located in the northern section of the 8th arrondissement. The taxi from Charles de Gaulle Airport was a flat rate of €57 and took about 45 minutes in midday traffic. Upon arrival, we were greeted on the street by a tall blond bellman named Tomas (I believe that’s the correct spelling). Check-in was seamless, though we were informed that our room wouldn’t be ready for another hour. We took the opportunity to enjoy coffee at a nearby café and explore the charming neighborhood. Our preselected room was beautifully appointed. The heated Toto toilet seat was an unexpected luxury, and both the bed and shower were exceptionally comfortable and spotless. The room also featured a small balcony overlooking the street and a commercial Nespresso machine — thoughtful touches that enhanced our stay. Although we didn’t have the chance to use the pool or gym, we had hoped the rooftop might be open to guests for cocktails. We later learned it was reserved exclusively for the penthouse suite. Even so, our experience at the Hotel Bowmann was outstanding, and we would gladly return. Next time, we’d choose a room on the south side — just to mix things up. In the end, the Bowmann offers an elegant blend of Parisian sophistication and contemporary comfort. Its attentive service, stylish design, and prime location make it an excellent choice for travelers seeking a luxurious yet intimate stay in the heart of Paris.

The room was lovely and beds comfortable. The staff were super helpful and accommodating. In particular, Gérard, the concierge went above and beyond with suggestions for restaurants and transportation recommendations. We didn't ultimately love the location, but proximity to the metro mitigated that.

My husband and I traveled to Paris for our anniversary. Hotel Bowmann was our home base and it was incredibly beautiful and comfortable. A little bit of luxury without being over-the-top in price. Friendly staff across the board. Well-appointed guest rooms with beautiful finishes and comfortable beds. Nice location - not noisy or super busy on the street but close access to many sites (and plenty of metro stops). I’d definitely recommend!
