Hotel Brandstätter

We originally booked this hotel not knowing that it was on the outskirts of Salzburg. Despite that fact, we were VERY happy to have found it. It's more like a resort, because it has everything you would want as a couple; restaurant/bar, pool, sauna, garden, etc. Their restaurant is amazing, and I read later that it had received a Michelin star.||The rooms were about what you would expect for the price (nice). Ours included a balcony. The optional breakfast was great, and I would highly recommend purchasing this add-on. Unfortunately, our itinerary only allowed us to stay one night here. However, we decided that we would definitely stay here again when we visited Salzburg. You should, as well.

Beautiful, plenty of parking spaces, and very clean. The restaurant is also nice, and the staff is very the staff is warm and attentive. The bus to the city center stops almost in front of the hotel, very convenient.

You can walk to the center via beautiful hills with many interesting stops and take a bus back at evening. Easy parking and very quiet place.

Beautiful appointed hotel with a lovely pool and sauna. Rooms are lovely Restaurant is excellent and most staff mannerly , friendly and very efficient .However it’s a taxi 20 euro eachtime into the magnificent small city of Salzburg or by bus. You miss out on the ambience of this special place. Rooms are 220 euro per night breakfast is continental although they do do eggs and the jams and juices are delicious. The hotel has probably sound off slot of their land for exclusive housing. This ruined it big time for me as I longed to sit and view those beautiful mountains .

A very charming and cozy hotel. The suite is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is excellent, although not cheap. The pool is suitable for swimming only, not for splashing around. The location might have been perfect once, but today it is surrounded by an overgrown city. Nevertheless, it's quiet, and you can still see the castle from the balcony.

A warm hotel with rustic decoration and traditional outfits, appreciable! The restaurant is a really nice place with a very good cuisine and service. Staff is really friendly and professional, the service at the restaurant and the reception is perfect!!! Only felt a little pression in their work like if they have to be always more than perfect, which they were! Maybe the management is a bit stressful. Maybe I'm wrong and then sorry for that. But they were just perfect, professional and really nice!! Location is the only real bad point, because it is just close to the highway, but it is well connected by the bus lines. The pool espace is gorgeous and peaceful! All the staff is nice in every service!

So far this has been our favorite hotel in Austria. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff were all friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Their breakfast buffet had an amazing selection of local cheeses, meats, breads, jams, and other items. Most importantly, to us, was the fact that even though they had a lot of occupants the hotel was still very quiet. One night in the summer it did get a little warm but the hotel maid must have anticipated this and left a fan for us in our room while we were out.

I loved staying here. Close to Salzburg with easy bus access, but located in a calm, quiet setting. The hotel is both historic and meticulously clean. The staff were so kind and helpful. The food at the restaurant was excellent -- I found myself wishing I had the recipe for literally everything I tried.
