"Set in a residential 14th‑arrondissement setting and part of a family‑run group, the hotel caters to children with snacks in the bar, a costume closet for play, storybooks and Orso teddy bears, and the unique option to sleep in an outdoor wooden ‘cabane’ in the garden." - The MICHELIN Guide

"Orso Hotels adheres to a tried-and-true formula for its Parisian properties: a focus on design, unusually warm service, and high-quality products, from the freshly baked cake served on arrival to the artisan-crafted soap in the bathrooms. Hôtel Cabane, centrally located amid the cafés and shops of Montparnasse, has all of that, plus a unique layout that sets it apart from more traditional hotels in the neighborhood. The elegant ivory building, with its slate roof and arched dormer windows, resembles others on the block, but the property features a lush interior garden with a bungalow-like cabane built from local wood. With a king-sized bed, heated bathroom floors, and an air of Scandinavian chic, it’s hardly rustic — rather, it’s the most luxurious room available." - Tablet Hotels
The front desk staff all speak English and are very helpful! They stored luggage for me when I left for Porto two days, too! The restaurant/lounge as well as the foyer lounge are cozy and instagramable places to plug in your devices and unwind from the day. The rooms are small but well designed and comfortable. The soaps and shampoo are nice quality! Linens and towels are clean and like new. When I needed a US plug adapter it was brought to my room within minutes. And the accessibility to the Pernity metro station is perfect, just steps away. The bus stop is literally across the street from the front doors, so it’s easy to get around town or to and from airports.

Very friendly staff with good location. Room is clean and tidy. They provide everything I need.
However the room is super noisy due to bad boise isolation. I hear the clanking noise all the time and other residents’ talking, door opening sounds.

We love Hotel Cabane when we arrive from the US to Paris. They offer an early check-in (for 30 euros) which is worth every penny to overcome jet lag. Wonderful staff—kind, attentive, speak English if needed. Excellent breakfast as well!

Really lovely little stylish hotel with a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Less than á minute’s walk from a Metro, with good restaurants and bars, Hotel Cabane is a real gem. The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast delicious and the staff always helpful.

A very nice hotel, a bit further away but the metro is right next door. There are some great boulangeries (even a vegan one) in the area, as well as a great sushi place (panda26).
The service was great, very kind staff. Only minor improvement could be some of the systems (our toilet door was a bit hard to open)

Wonderful find in the Montparnasse region! The hotel is very cute, with warm wood decor and a great patio/wooden walkway space in the back. Rooms have everything you need and the bed is comfortable.
Staff is super helpful; Yann is amazing! Being offered drinks and baked goods at check-in was a nice surprise. The location is fantastic; walking distance to major metro stops and amazing shops nearby (check out Mosuke on the same street for a great West African-Japanese Michelin-starred experience)
I only wish I stayed longer than one night!

Three Times contacting the reception, First Time because the Room smelled like smoke. New Room Had a damaged Card door Opener. So we Had to Go a third time to the reception to get the Keys as well. On our Last day we were waked Up by the fire Alarm which was started by accident 6.30 am. But the Room was fine, a bit small but okay and was perfectly located in the Center of Paris.

Nice, clean hotel in a good area! However, the rooms are not soundproofed, so if you are sensitive to noise this may not be the best choice for you. Some noise from other guests can be heard (footsteps, plumbing), as well as the Metro, which runs every few minutes until late.
