We had an amazing stay here. Fabulous location, super central in the city and walkable to everywhere. Everything was spotlessly clean, the staff were all really welcoming, and professional. Breakfast up in the rooftop restaurant was delicious. Great selection and a beautiful setting. We loved the additional touches like the hand written welcome card, welcome drinks vouchers, airport transfers and chocolate gifts. They all made for a really special experience. Thank you for your hospitality!

we had an amazing experience at hotel calimala! from the start, the staff was very helpful and welcoming. they have two locations and we originally went to the wrong one, but staff was very helpful and even walked us to the correct location. as for the room, it was lovely! it was super clean, organized, and modern with all the amenities one might need. plus our view was so fabulous we almost didn’t want to leave the room!! a special shout out to chiara who welcomed us and got us checked in! would absolutely recommend a stay here!!

Good location, room quality depends, if facing street, very noisy, even for the whole night, because of garbage trucks, some room has sewage smell, but if not facing street, and change a smelly room, perfect.

We stayed one night at the hotel and had a lovely experience. The location is absolutely excellent, right in the heart of Florence, which makes it ideal for discovering the city. The hotel is composed of 2 buildings, we stayed in the second one, where the breakfast is served on the rooftop, which was a real highlight. The room is beautifully decorated in contemporary style, very comfortable. The digital tablet available in the room providing the hotel information and useful details was a very nice and modern touch. A special mention goes to the gentleman who welcomed us upon arrival on Dec 16. Unfortunately we do not remember his name, but he was excellent - he accompanied us to the room with our luggage, presented the room with great clarity, and was attentive, professional and pleasant. His service truly stood out. The only small downside we noticed was a rather strong sewer smell in the corridors of this building.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. A true gem. The staff are exceptional and provide genuine Italian hospitality. The hotel is elegant, pristine furnishings, and beds extremely comfortable. Rooms are spotless and bright, having plenty of real lighting to actually read and see. 8 ft tall windows let in lots of light and fresh air. A modern cheerful room aesthetic with very tall ceilings for a feeling of spaciousness, all while maintaining the historic stone and brickwork of the original building. A room iPad is provided to manage your hotel stay. LOCATION is right in the heart of all the famous tourist spots — easy 2-10 minute walks to each one.

The hotel was a great choice overall. The location is excellent, right in the center of Florence and close to everything, yet quiet and easy to reach. The staff were very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay. The room was calm, the bed comfortable, and we slept really well every night. A comfortable and pleasant stay in a perfect location. I would definitely stay here again.

Best hotel I’ve stayed at in italy! Simoné, Dan, and Bruno are the best team ever. They are so much fun and hilarious too The girls at the front desk are also so sweet and helpful, Nandini and Leda! Truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had!
