Hotel Capellan de Getsemani

I stayed at Hotel Getsemaní Cartagena from July 17 to 20, and everything was absolutely awesome. From check-in to check-out, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The rooftop pool and views were a great bonus, and the breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious. The location is perfect—close enough to walk to the Walled City and local spots, but still peaceful. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely return one day. Thank you for a great experience!

Elegance sophistication old school charm and politesse are what comes to my mind it was an absolute pleasure and i want to come back! I recommend going up to the roof top pool bar and watching the sunrise. If you’re up early, the breakfast is spectacular and the bar is wonderful cocktails the cocktails are a little bit expensive compared to everything else but they are spectacular. We will certainly be coming back to this hotel and soaking up some more of its charm and historic design.

We loved our stay at Hotel Capellan de Getsemani! The hotel was beautiful, the staff was amazing, the rooms are large & comfortable & the AC works great! Which is a huge plus in the hot & humid weather! You are located right in the heart of things too, so the location is great! You can walk 2-10 minutes and have 100’s a restaurants, stores, etc. at your disposal! We definitely recommend this hotel! 5 stars!

We absolutely loved the Capellan. It's very well located in the heart of Getsemani. Staff is 100, absolutely helpfully, attentive, treated us with extreme care. Restaurant was a big plus, with chef quality food, beautiful and delicious plates. |The room was large and comfortable, one of the best showers we've ever used. Beds were super comfortable, good streaming options on the TV.|Concierge service was really helpful and we regretted not relying more on it. |Perfect experience, will definitely stay again every time we're back in cartagena

We had such an amazing stay at Hotel Capellán in Cartagena! We booked the suite and it was absolutely beautiful super clean, spacious, and felt like a true luxury escape. The front desk and staff were incredibly professional and attentive from start to finish. Breakfast (included!) was delicious and fresh, and we also ordered dinner through room service which was just chef’s kiss. Everything exceeded our expectations and we’re so glad we chose to stay here. Highly recommend if you’re coming to Cartagena and want a peaceful, high-end experience!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with friendly staff and incredible location close to Getsemani, the historic city center, and the port. Did have some issues with the facilities and the hospitality services. Would consider staying again but also would consider an AirBNB or another hotel. Overall, a very good experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Capellan! Our room was beautiful and had all the comforts you’d expect from a top-tier hotel. The service was exceptional, every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and professional. We also really enjoyed the food at the restaurant; everything was fresh and delicious! Our favorite part of the hotel was definitely the rooftop pool and rooftop seating area to watch the sunset.

Wonderful oasis in the middle of busy Getsemani area. Very nice ambiance rooms were very spacious and the bathrooms nicely designed overall. Though wish there were more hooks to hang things. I would recommend to couples or families looking for a quiet and peaceful stay. Customer service was amazing. Very accommodating.
