First off, the scenery around Casa Albets is absolutely beautiful. The hotel is well off of the main road and is surrounded by mountains and fields. It is extremely quiet and peaceful. ||||The vibe in the hotel is very quiet. We found the staff to be very friendly, but it is a quiet place and there isn't much interaction going on. For us, this was just fine. There isn't much to do in the hotel itself; it's just the room and nice places to sit outside. Again, we were fine with this. There is a TV (we didn't turn it on) and the wifi is good. ||||Around the hotel, there are some really nice hiking trails. The hotel has a number of trails listed on Wikiloc, making it really easy to find and navigate on the trails. For what it's worth, I did two of the trails; one was great and the other was completely overgrown in some parts. There's plenty of trail to be had, as long as you aren't stubborn like I was and try to hike a trail that's hardly there anymore. ||||We found the breakfast and dinner to be excellent. The dinner is definitely an upscale experience, with lots of unique dishes and presentation. Eating breakfast outside with a mountain view was a big highlight.||||Outside of relaxing at the hotel, we also toured the Migjorn olive oil farm and the nearby salt mountains. Both were great. We were pleasantly surprised to have things like this to do, both not too far away.
