"Casa Blanca 7 is a 300-year-old house in San Miguel de Allende’s historic center, and as its name might suggest, it’s got a touch of Moroccan atmosphere, recalling in a subtle way the ultra-private riad hotels of cities like Casablanca and Marrakech. With just ten suites it can’t help but feel less like a hotel and more like a private house — one that’s impressively detailed and perhaps surprisingly contemporary." - Mark Fedeli

Ideal location. No more than a eight minute walk to any nice shopping or museum area. rooms are large with high ceilings, including a ceiling fan. Refrigerator not very cold. Rooftop breakfast is excellent with several great options. There is an OXXO store right next-door and a bank ATM right next to that. dinner at the rooftop restaurant was really great as well. Wonderful rooftop view of the main cathedral and the next-door temple. keep in mind. The parking is free, but it is valet and sometimes can take 10 minutes to retrieve the car. So there is tipping involved with that. The only complete is the feet on the large wooden bed that are very difficult to see at night unless you unfold the blanket and drape it over. Otherwise, you will stub your toe.😅 rooms are very quiet since they have no exposure to the street. all in all an ideal hotel for first or second time visitors to this wonderful town.

Fantastic rooftop dining with lots of the very best views of almost all the most photographic church spires in the town. Beautifully presented plates and respectful but impeccable service.

Beautiful hotel situated minutes away from central downtown. The entire staff from the front desk, housekeeping, and kitchen were amazing. Rooms are beautifully decorated well kept and clean. The restaurant was also delicious with amazing views of the churches. Thanks to the staff for making our experience in SMA wonderful.

If you’re seeking the best view in San Miguel de Allende, look no further than Casa Blanca 7. This place boasts the most stunning rooftop in town, offering unparalleled vistas of the city. We enjoyed a couple of delicious drinks wine and cocktails that were expertly crafted. The service was impeccable, truly top-notch! We’re excited to return soon to try their food, and we’re confident it will exceed our expectations. Casa Blanca 7 is a must-visit for anyone in San Miguel de Allende!

A true boutique hotel, small and very well located. Service was exceptional, beds were turned down every evening, room very clean and quiet, reception always helpful. Breakfast was also good with delicious traditional Mexican food on offer. Their rooftop is definitely worth a visit even if not staying at the hotel.

This beautiful hotel is thoughtfully-designed, small, and centrally located. The staff were all exceptionally friendly; the rooms are tasteful and comfortable; the bed was perfect; and the bathroom large and airy with excellent water pressure and nice complimentary products. However, what made this place stand out the most was the food. The complimentary multi-course breakfast is truly the best breakfast I have had in my life. I would stay here again just for the breakfast. The restaurant on the upper terrace had the best food (lunch and dinner) of anywhere we went in San Miguel. Truly. And we tried many of the so-called best restaurants in town. I’m guessing that the only reason this restaurant isn’t on all the best restaurant lists is because it’s in a hotel, but truly: it should be. Yes, we wished it had a pool—that would have made it perfect. And the fancy clothing store downstairs seemed a very strange choice. (Please sell the beautiful ceramics you use instead!) These very minor comments aside, we will happily come back here (and would come back for the food alone.)

Superb butique hotel in the heart of the tiny gem of a town San Miguel de Allende. ||OUR ROOM: increadible old fashioned dwelling with thick walls, giant glass door, and wood beam 8 meter tall (~26.24 feet !) ceiling. A spectacular bathroom is half the size of the dwellibg and features modern multihead shower, marble sinks, a lovely retro-style bathtub, and a skylight. Waist high king size bed comes with two obligatory foot stools.||STAFF: friendly, competent, and attentive to guests needs.||FOOD: |(1) a superb rooftop restaurant ("Fatima 7") serves fusion Mexican/No.African cuisine (personal suggestion: rack of lamb. )|(2) patio eating area adjacent to the bar. Breakfast served 8-11 a.m. (PLEASE NOTE: this is not "continental breakfast, " the one often encounters in the U.S. Here it takes 1+ hours to be serviced, so make sure you take that into account when planning your itinerary. ) Breakfast food and selection of coffees is excellent. Although the price of breakfast is INCLUDED, PLEASE DO NOT FORGER TO TIP the serving staff. Personal favorites: Mexican omlet with black beans and green salsa (spicy), bowl of fresh fruit (locally grown mangos and papaya are picked ripe and taste like nothing we can find back home), quesadillas, and avocado toast (toasted bread with slices of fresh avocado and locally farmed mushrooms.)||OTHER: two small and cool inner courtyards with fountains offer a perfect place to spend a few hours with a book, while the afternoon heat winds down outside.| For desperate shopaholics: there is a small and tasteful boutique at the front part of the building. It offers a small selection of clothes, shoes, and jewelry. ||COST: a bit pricey, but well worth it. ||OVER ALL: we had a very pleasant stay and will be glad to come back. Sincerely recommend to visitors to San Miguel.
