Hotel Catalonia Ronda

We had a phenomenal stay at the Catalonia Hotel in Ronda. From the moment we arrived, the staff were wonderful. The desk clerk was a wealth of information about local sights and great restaurants. The valet/porter was so energetic and engaging. He could not have been more accommodating. The views from the rooftop lounge are picturesque. Why stay anywhere else?

This hotel boasts an excellent location, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The rooms are modern and spacious, with separate bathrooms, bathtubs, showers, and toilets; they are clean, comfortable, and have windows for ventilation. The rooftop restaurant offers fantastic views, directly overlooking the bullring, and the dinner was excellent. The service was attentive and professional. The hotel's sauna and heated pool require an extra charge. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Ronda. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the New Bridge, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. The room was spacious, extremely comfortable, and very well maintained. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and high-quality options to start the day. One of the highlights was the rooftop, which offers absolutely stunning views. A special mention goes to Andres, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. His hospitality really made a difference and added a personal touch to the experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ronda.

Our room was very nice, exceptional cleanliness and reception staff was very friendly. The breakfast really is very good with superb selection. Fresh cut and peeled fruits, I haven't seen peeled kiwi in hotel breakfast in a long time. Even a 5-star hotel in Granada didn't peel the kiwi. Fresh bread as well, there was around 5 different bread option including what I think is a Ronda speciality with walnuts. Amazing view from the breakfast as well over the mountains and the bull ring. Also a juice press machine so you can have fresh juice and they had good quality oranges. Coffee could have been better though, it was pretty bad honestly. They should consider changing beans or maybe a deep clean of the machine (or a new one). There is a parking garage nearby and they offer discounted parking. We paid 17 euro per day. The location couldn't really be better.

Excellent hotel. The location is unbeatable — right next to Puente Nuevo, the bullring, and the main pedestrian street, with restaurants and shops all around. Breakfast was great, with plenty of choice and good quality, and we even enjoyed stunning views over the Ronda valley from the restaurant window. The service was outstanding. Andrés and Juan were extremely helpful throughout our stay. In particular, Andrés was the best hotel staff member I met during my trip in Spain — he helped with parking, luggage, and restaurant recommendations, which made our stay in Ronda easy and truly enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Perfect location opposite de Plaza de Torres. The hotel used to be a bank and was changed in to a hotel in 2018. The view from the bar and the restaurant at the 4th floor is beautiful, mountains wherever you look. The hotel is centrally located in the town. Short walk to the gorge and the old town. The hotel is beautiful and we had a very nice suite. Also the breakfast was absolutely wonderful! The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Out of all the hotels in Spain we’ve stayed in, this is the best. The hotel is centrally located and the room we were given had a view of the bull ring and the mountains. The hotel also had a bar and restaurant called Panorámica which had great drinks and food with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The room is not only clean, it also has heated towel racks, ironing board and a couch. The room is heated too which helps considering we were there for winter. The front desk and the bell boy were all friendly, helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay in Ronda because of Hotel Catalonia Ronda. We would definitely recommend Hotel Catalonia Ronda to anyone.

We loved everything about this hotel. Super friendly & helpful staff, the room was spacious and bed very comfortable, great bathroom layout. We had an amazing dinner in the bar area with lots of great recommendations on food & drink from our waiter. Breakfast was wonderful, lots of delicious selections and very good GF options.
