Multi level.night club. We went for regeatton night at the rooftop. We got bottle service. Music and atmosphere was good, until it got too crowded. It was hard to enjoy dancing with someone bumping and stepping into you. We also would like to get photos from that night.

Came here for a friends birthday with a group of 7-8 people. From even the moment we came the security guard bouncers downstairs was extremely discriminating. They threatening to kick my boyfriend out for stepping barely outside the front door when , his friend when to ask if they had a charger. When we walking in they’re like i can let the girls in for free but I don’t have to let thel men in if you don’t pay cover charge. Not a friendly or welcoming space for POC & LGBTQ Very nasty staff Don’t recommended coming here Also lots of predators and creeps watch your surroundings

I took my girlfriend on date night at hotel Chantelle and it didn't disappoint. I wish I could take away .5 star for no live band on Friday night The foods & cocktails were great, especially we got a great online deal. The ambience was to the point, great bar flowers decoration, love the classic lamp post. The dish highlight was charred octopus (starter) I would say 75% was cooked well the rest was chewy, but they were tasty. I tried pineapple express (it was great summer cocktail). The entree: Branzino and steak were good but not that special. Overall highly recommended for the cocktails.

Food presentation was on point. Eggs were perfectly cooked, and home fries well seasoned. The steak was decent, but overall the meal was good. The ambiance was charming, it effortlessly transports you into a quaint setting surrounded by beautiful decor, and the live music was a nice perk. Definitely recommend coming here whether it’s for two or a group. Service was spot on, and the drinks were decent.

Wow, this place is superb. I had a dope night DJ Pereira was rocking it super hard and then we were dancing so hard that I lost my phone but the bouncer found it and also the Head bartending manager. Andrea was taken care of everybody and this place you gotta come through cause this is the place to be in East village especially the best Latin music in Lower Manhattan.

Tonight I was doing the line with my group of friends to have a fun, and two security guys was very friendly and nice with us. While the moment, we was eating some food from McDonalds on the line then we skip the line because the rule was not eat inside the club, so in that moment we skip the line while others friends do the line. It was another security guy tall, white skin, glasses and short brown hair so rude, racist, and send us to home for no reason. We were very excited to enjoy the night but that security for sure was so rude. I will not gonna pay for go inside the club before a “security” service like that was RUDE.

This place is very well done. I promised myself I'd have a sober Sunday but the second we walked in the vibe was too fun to not order a drink. The menu felt a bit limited, but it was was well focused with some solid options. Nothing blew us away but the food was solid, our waitress was great and the vibe is fun. Would definitely come back.

Hotel Chantelle... the building, the entrance, the indoor bar... nah... BUT walk up the stairs and WOW!!! Such a beautiful terrace!!! And yes!!! Drinks and party!!! Great experience! Food is delicious, drinks are fresh and chic. We didn't get the unlimited drinks for 1 hour and 1/2 cuz we wanted to try the beautiful cocktails. We had fun and great to be out with your girlfriends. Highly recommend for brunch.

Great time with very good various music. Staff were pleasant. The rooftop was super cool.

Went here for a party and it was PACKED but breathable. Three floors for everyone to space out on, and it comes in handy! The fries and food were way better than I expected and happily seasoned, and there were lots of them. The drinks were alright too, whiskey and wine were ok selections. Didn't catch the brand though. The gripes: the upstairs section was too hot, and the music was too loud. Also, there was happy hour pricing for the event but the staff didn't know about it until directly asked. I would think this would be something part of training or explained before the event.

My favorite spot in the LES! I love the bartenders and everyone here. The 80s party on Saturdays is my favorite--it's the same DJ from the iconic pyramid club that closed. I always fun when I come here. Great food too!

Bye girl. I don't know what happened but when I walked in for a party tonight looking to order a drink off the menu on their website I was met with "that's the old menu". I asked where's the new menu and the woman said they didn't receive it yet and how they are under new management. So I asked what do people order during brunch and she pointed at the bar. So I reiterated, "there's no menu during brunch?" to which she said no. It's also hot af with no coat check. Fake ass bartenders. Who doesn't know how to make a mojito?

This a great place if you have a large group and want something affordable. Generally easy to get tables. Good music especially as the night goes on. It does have a young crowd to beware. A little run down but will almost guarantee you entry if you come with a large crew.

Luv their rooftop, friendly bartender, good drinks. The menu had change since I had been there last. Chicken & waffles was interesting, more of an appetizer not an entree.

Went here 1 time last year during a stay in nyc. Just once! Remembered it as overpriced and children. I have gotten spam text messages every thurs/fri/sat of my life since. You can delete the messages and report as junk, but they just make new numbers and continue on. Save yourself the headache, plenty of other good spots in the city.

Nice looking place. Good service. Brunch is disgusting. Dr pizza and powdered egg spring rolls. Run if you're hungry. Go somewhere els.

Don't you love it when people lie to your face? Guy at the door says: "ok, it's $150 bar tab until 430 am. The bar tab is to keep the bar open." At 330 am, we get ushered out of the place. "Time to go!" I mean, not surprising for NYC but it sucks to be lied to. Embarrassing when we got friends from out of town visiting. Just saying.

I had a beautiful experience at this place last weekend. Was out with friends, went to the rooftop and stayed until closing. This place is cool because they have two floors (variety of music and crowd) downstairs and rooftop. The place is spacious for a group of friends but not too big where it's overwhelming. I wish I would've taken photos of the rooftop because it was beautifully decorated and you get a beautiful view of the sky. The staff is VERY attentive. They clean spilled drinks fast as they fall, rearrange tables and get rid of cups that are in your way. This place gave me a very comfortable feel which is uncommon when you're out in NYC AT NIGHT. The best thing I liked was that the rooftop had an area for smokers (smokers room). I was very happy to come here and cannot wait to be back.

This is a popular NYC bar in the Lower East Side. I came for a private event so it was super crowded. They have a coat check available for those that want it. There are bars on the ground floor and on the roof top level with happy hour specials. The lower bar has a few couches and the roof top has quite a bit of seating along the walls. Service was very slow but on a regular night, they might better accommodate a crowd.

Ordered: Steak au Poivre & Eggs (~$28): cast iron skillet sirloin steak, two eggs, pomme frittes, tri color pepper corn sauce Breakfast Margarita Pitcher (~$41 for 3 people) Aya's take: I love me a good brunch and nothing beats NYC brunch. I had a reservation with a couple of friends around 1pm on a Saturday. Presentation was great and the vibes on the rooftop were awesome with super cute decor. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium and the sunny-side eggs were delicious. The pomme frittes could have been much crispier. The Breakfast Margarita Pitcher is great for sharing, but if you're not a big brunch drinker, just a glass or two of the margarita is more than enough. They also charge a 5% COVID Recovery fee, which...I guess. Anyway, if you're looking for a decent brunch spot, Hotel Chantelle will not disappoint!

My friends and I came here on a Friday night to celebrate 10yrs of friendship! When you arrive your ID is checked by the doorman and then access to the upstairs area is granted. We decided to sit in the rooftop area that has a retractable roof. Our waiter made his way over after sitting for a little more than 10 minutes. I had the deviled Egg tasting as my appetizer which wasn't for me. One topped with shrimp, another with lobster none of them satisfying. For my entree I went with the Braised Short Rib which wasn't what I thought it would be. The grits were watery lacking flavor, the short ribs were chewy and the marinade that covered the entire plate was sour. Our waiter checked in with us twice... he definitely could've been more attentive. All in all Hotel Chantelle didn't win me over.

I liked it. It was a a good blend of mature, lit, modest priced brunch for Lower East Side. Went at 1pm on a Sunday so it wasn't necessarily prime time. My group went the individual drinks route because service was a tad slow. The brunch menu drinks are literally 6.22!! Unheard of! They have a bottomless brunch option and a family style for large groups. A few errors when our food came out but was all settled in the next 10-15 minutes. My favorite was the ambiance and crowd. Great scene.

Where should I begin, this was one of the worst brunch experiences I have had in long time. I was first greeted by a rude hostess downstairs. Some of our friends were running late, 3 if us were here but we couldn't be seated because we needed 4 people, BUT THE RESTAURANT WAS EMPTY. We get it if it was full, that would have been fine! This was slowly followed by a $35 PP brunch that was all carbs and not filling. While we were waiting to get the second round of food, they kept coming around to confiscate our plates and utensils while we were still waiting for our food. One of my friends was also not served water and we had to flag someone down to get it. Last but least, the straw that broke the camel's back. We had 3 friends that hadn't showed up and we had to pay $25 PP for a no show fee. They had applied the 20% gratuity on top of the total no show fee of $75. This would have been an additional tip we pay on top of all the other charges we have. It took us forever for the manager to take it off the bill, the first time she did it, she did it wrong, and our bill was more expensive! There was no apology given after, like this was normal! We left this restaurant having a bad time my friends, this place doesn't seem friendly other than for the bartenders. If you want a delicious and friendly brunch spot, please go somewhere else. Please note there is a 5% covid surcharge.

Going out wise, this place sucks. Way too expensive and their security team is insanely rude. They keep your card. They kicked out probably 20 people for nothing too. Just to get other people in to pay the cover

OOOOH felt like I just walked into a Parisian cafe and rooftop! Loved the ambiance and vibe inside. The music playing was a mixture of top hits, hip hop, and pop so I can see how it can be a popular spot to hang out. I was most impressed by the paella because this restaurant cooks the paella in the actual pan and not transferred by a different pot. The paella had huge prawns and mussels which added to the visual aesthetic of the dish. It was also very flavorful too. I typically don't like chocolate dessert but the lava cake was presented so beautifully and it was actually rich and good!! Our waiter also recommended great cocktails to pair with our dinner. A good mix of dinner and service!

This place definitely has the cutest rooftop vibes/decor and are nice in the winter as well because they transform it into an enclosed greenhouse space. The food was a hit or miss. We came here for brunch and they had a prefix family style menu that came with Avocado Toast, Stuffed French Toast, Breakfast Pizza, Chicken & Waffles and Truffle Tater Tots. The tater tots were by far our favorite - something about the crispiness and seasoning just made them so damn good. We also enjoyed the avocado toast and stuffed french toast, though I kinda wish the maple syrup was a little sweeter. The chicken and waffles were very mediocre. They put cotton candy on top which was the weirdest mix to me and made it look less appetizing. The breakfast pizza was absolutely disgusting. The crust/base was so hard - my friend described it as "eating the table." There was also just so much ketchup on it. Overall, I wish they didn't do the prefix family style menu because the quality of items is inconsistent. Their drinks are priced pretty high around $18 per cocktail, so if you want to drink, I would definitely recommend doing the bottomless instead.

I had an event to attend near by. My friend and I decided to check out this place first and I'm glad we did! We sat at the rooftop bar which was beautifully decorated. We both ordered a ketel one cosmo and a lemon drop shot. Both were delicious. Before we knew it, they brought us out a truffle slice, watermelon salad wedge and their heart of palm ceviche on the house! It was for happy hour they said. It truly was delicious and I'm glad we were able to try! I will be back for dinner soon! Lovely place, great bartender and a great location!

I will start by saying I am SO glad I made reservations. I knew the place would be fairly busy but I thought at 2:30pm on Saturday, it would be dying down... it was not and thank god for my reservation. My husband and I ate on the rooftop which they had a DJ who play some really good music. It was tad loud for my taste, especially being next to a speaker, it was fine overall. The staff was pretty good. The hostess was super friendly. The waiter was okay, a little slow with the bill but he did have a lot of tables. The food came out quick and they were very attentive in getting rid of plates and refilling waters. My husband had the 'Stuffed French Toast' which was very thick, super rich and filling. He did enjoy it though! I ordered the 'Watermelon Salad' which actually shaped and cut like a pizza and the 'Heirloom Gazpacho'. They were both delicious and super refreshing. Would I come back? Probably Not, but it was nice place and a place I think people should check out.

Very discriminatory night at Hotel Chantelle. We were 2 petite Indian ladies and it was 2:30am and the club closes at 4am , there was nobody in line and we asked the bouncer if we could go in , he said "no we're closing." 5 minutes later 2 tall thin Caucasian women walked to the bouncer and they were let in immediately. We had friends inside, the friends came out to attempt to let us in but the bouncer was blatantly discriminating towards minorities. Very interesting as he is a tall black individual. Please see the picture to avoid and report.

Don't bother. Hostesses are rude. And if you plan on sitting outside, DO NOT choose "patio" (very misleading), and won't make any accommodations. Though I will say our server (Rolando) was very accommodating, professional and a joy; hence the reason for the bump up of two stars from one zero. More to come...

Oof...this was one of the most miserable brunches I've had in a while. But I guess we're all due for a lackluster brunch occasionally right? The world is healing!!!! Ok down to the task at a hand...the food is trash. I'm not sure who is behind this menu (note: prefix family style brunch), but the ideas are terrible: Avocado toast: soggy Stuffed French toast: dry. No enough of the mascarpone/ricotta filling. Breakfast Pizza: the worst offender on this list. Who the hell decided that a thin crust pizza with egg as the "cheese", bacon as "pepperoni", and ketchup as "tomato sauce" was a swell idea? Chicken & Waffles: these people put COTTON CANDY on top of the food. You would get a good laugh watching my party carefully remove the cotton candy, like trying to open an envelope. Truffle tater tots: ok I liked these but that's no grand praise. Now what do you notice about this menu? There is very little protein. The only meat was the chicken, which wasn't enough so we had to order extra. And here's the icing on the cake: can we please get a decent amount of syrup??? You have all these foods (dry as aforementioned) that require the use of syrup, yet only bring a small little cup for each dish. This was a 10 person party, and even when we asked for more it they were cheap with it. The food wasn't good, overpriced, and the service wasn't exactly the bees knees either. Not recommended.

Had dinner here for the first time the other night and unfortunately it was raining so the roof was up and couldn't see the outside! For anyone else who is also new to this venue - there is a club/bar downstairs so it was pretty loud during our visit but loud regardless in the rooftop area. Recs: the truffle flatbread is THE dish to get. The truffle oil flavor was clearly distinct and savory. It really was the high note of the dinner. The tuna avocado toast was also very well flavored and fresh. Others: the entrees were ok - we had the steak and frites, the lobster pot pie and the short ribs. The steak was good, it was juicy but not too much stood out about the flavor or taste. The lobster pot pie had a large piece of puff pastry on top with creamy soup underneath of bits of lobster with vegetables. It was good but also nothing to write home about. The short ribs tasted almost like shepherds pie - the polenta was so creamy and soft like mashed potatoes!

If you haven't been to Hotel Chantelle, you are truly missing out on a very very good thing. Hotel Chantelle is located one or two short blocks away from the F line train station, and that all depends on what set of stairs you decide to take coming up from the train station. Hotel Chantelle has a very elegant name and it matches the elegance of the staff and service. I can say this because upon my arrival, I was received with warm hospitality and a smile. My guest and I was given the lay of the land and quickly seated. The area on the rooftop is quite chic and charming. The seating area has a great view of their elongated bar area. Also, the space is filled with lush greens and vibrant colors. All of this beauty comes together in such a way that makes you feel like your in the mist of Alice in Wonderland tea party. I actually found it to be quite magical and dare I say romantic. I've had wonderful meals prepared and presented to me over the years but I must say, the chefs at Hotel Chantelle makes tata tots, devil's egg and bunch of other appetizers taste like a holiday banquet. Hotel Chantelle has my absolute and complete endorsement. I can't wait to return and enjoy other menu items and fabulous bottomless cocktails.

Amazing rooftop brunch spot in Lower East Side in NYC. The decor, ambiance and lighting was great. There was a live DJ spinning an eclectic mix of music. The food was delicious, tasty and fresh. The Pulsd reviews are back, baby lol. I was on the hunt for a rooftop restaurant now that we can dine outside as apart of Phase 2. Browsed Pulsd's outdoor dining section and stumbled upon Hotel Chantelle and was delighted by the menu, I then purchased a $69 dinner for two Pulsd and made a reservation. The reservation process was seamless and the staff here is very friendly. They are very precautionary as well, my temperature was taken before being allowe inside and the tables were spaced 6 ft apart. The rooftop is beautiful and the staff here is beyond courteous. The food and cocktails were amazing. I recommend the Pineapple Express cocktail if you love spicy tequila, The Pear of Kings cocktail was also super refreshing. I ordered the Truffle Flatbread entree which as spectacular as well as the Fritto Misto entree (hello, fried lobster!). Would highly reccomend Hotel Chantelle.

A gorgeous rooftop space on the lower east side! Made a reservation for a couples date, and were were seated immediately. Covid protocols were all followed and created a sense of safety for our visit to the establishment. When we visited the roof was closed, but still loved the outdoor feeling while sitting on the rooftop indoor. Food was overall very good! The brunch cocktails were strong and well mixed. The Steak au Poivre & Eggs and the Stuffed French Toast were my favorites. The steak dish included cast iron skillet sirloin steak, two eggs, pomp frites, try color pepper corn sauce and the stuffed brioche included a maple-infused mascarpone and ricotta, crusted in Frosted Flakes and maple syrup. Would highly reccomend Hotel Chantelle's rooftop for brunch!

Neat venue with a club downstairs and a rooftop bar area. Came here for a party around 10pm and the line wasn't too bad, just 5-10 people. Dress code is pretty casual in practice, most men were just wearing t-shirts and jeans. Pretty mixed crowd but this night there were a lot of young men who were acting quite bro-y. There must have been a lot of spilled drinks because the floors were very sticky. Prices are definitely not cheap, a vodka with mixer is about $20. A lot of people seem to get bottle service too. Music is pretty good, on weekend nights they seem to play a lot of mainstream and classic hits but the DJ puts his own spin on it (pardon the pun)!

Absolutely Phenomenal! Due to Covid, they're seating is super limited. Reservations are required so be sure to book in advance! The Chicken and Waffles are amazing. Chicken is a little spicy, but both are super flavorful. The M.O.A. Burger was also great! Cooked to perfection. Truffle fries were a perfect side. The drinks were super strong and bottomless! Julianna was a great waitress! Definitely would recommend.

Came here for bottomless brunch on a rainy day but was able to keep my reservation due to the fully enclosed rooftop. Interior is cute and bottomless option is flexible and affordable - truffle tater tots are amazing, but chicken and waffles were mid. The drinks were creative and so worth it - southern sangrias are kind've sweet but still really good. Would lean a bit heavier on the drinks over the food at this place, but other food options looked good

The food here is delicious! There's not one item that I did not like! It got super crowded, I definitely recommend making a reservation. We used a $69 pulse deal for dinner, which came with 2 apps, 2 entrees, 1 dessert and 2 cocktails. We also got a complimentary shot. This restaurant was located on a rooftop with a retractable glass cover. There was no view, but it was a cute spot.

I wanted to give this spot more stars, but I couldn't because the food. It's such a great vibe for brunch. Good live music, fun atmosphere, beautiful rooftop, but the food is super pricey, is lack luster and it's super loud! This is definitely a spot for drinks, dancing and a good girls brunch, but not a spot if you actually want a good meal and to talk with the person(s) at your table. If good food is a must for you, go somewhere else and then drink here.

Honestly one of the best brunch experiences in NYC! The brunch pitchers are fairly priced and the drinks are mixed WELL. The food was seasoned to perfection and there was a good portion of good given. I usually order some steak dish at brunch, and this is the first place that brought my steak cooked to the temperature i asked the first time. The live music was entertaining and great. This was my first time coming here and I'm glad I picked this place to celebrate my birthday at. I will most definitely be back.

Hotel Chantelle was so underwhelming. To start, our group did not all want to do the bottomless drinks option so we were told we must split up. Rather than seat us at two tables next to one another they say another couple there and had our group (the 5-person non-drinking group) wait over 30 minutes for a table while giving us no indication when we would be seated (we were told they had to wait for groups to get up and leave, which made sense except we had seen two open tables they filled in front of our eyes). The food itself was fairly basic and nothing to write home about. My Spanish Baked Eggs (which were poached, not baked) were room temperature upon arriving. The drink our friend ordered was pretty small for almost $20. Overall it's probably standard for New York brunch but I think you could find better (service and food) for the same price.

We went to Hotel Chantelle today for brunch and I wish I had read these reviews earlier. The food and drinks were so mediocre, it was such a disappointment. We got the impossible pizza and white truffle pizza and it was beyond unappetizing. The service was poor. It seemed like we were a inconvenience to them and were so rushed. I would hope for the price we paid, at least the service would be subpar. The ambiance was alright. Definitely cuter and tastier places in NYC!

Very nice lobby. I want to come here for brunch on the rooftop. Expensive drinks with extra fees. Good for fate, dinner, or just drinks. Dj was good.

Truthfully, I expected this place to be a trendy trap. They make you agree to spend $50/pp at a minimum on your bill, and let's be honest that's a red flag for a "cool" spot with boring food. But that's NOT what happened here. I had such a fun dinner here with friends and the food was delicious. We ordered tater tots, guac, and the Brussels sprouts to share, and I ordered the salmon for my main dish. All were fantastic - I recommend everything! Pro tip: If you're not looking for a clubby atmosphere, have an earlier dinner. We sat down at 7:30 and the club feel started around 9:30 or so. Biggest surprise: The atmosphere was so beautiful and romantic. I didn't think it would live up to the photos online but it did! All in all: Hotel Chantelle is a "suite" experience.

There were a lot of considerations that went into my rating, but ultimately it came down to the value, quality, service, and hype. The food is fine truly, nothing stellar but generally it was good. I liked my fried chicken and waffles and the cotton candy was asthetically pleasing, but for the cost I was disappointed in the portion size. Another waffle would've been great, especially because it was very airy - not one of those fluffy filling delicious waffles. The ambience of the rooftop and decor is nice too. I think this is a fun and cute brunch spot and I get the appeal. But for the hype and price, I thought the food could've been better than okay and the service wasn't great (e.g., asking for water multiple times, etc.). That being said, I'd go back for a fun event because it's more about the setting and experience than the food itself. The tator tots were pretty dank though!

Super cute eatery! I loved the energy of the rooftop. The brunch menu was great I must say. It's definitely necessary to have an rsvp. The service was pretty good initially. Unfortunately, the waitress had a bad attitude. I'm always skeptical of how well pork is prepared at restaurants. I asked for my sausage to be well done. When my guest later decided she wanted her sausage lolli's to be well done the waitress gave her an attitude and slightly snatched the lollipop tray while rolling her eyes. Then, as we left I asked for a bag for my guests to-go food, and she showed an annoyed gesture. Nonetheless, the music selection was great (though quite loud so be prepared to yell across the table). And, the food was instagrammable and tasty. I ordered an apparent new Starter: Breakfast Sausage Lollipops. Thought the name was cute and my imagination of what they'd be seemed cute. I thought they'd be small since they were appetizers, but they were large and filling actually. I'd go back and check out their lounge downstairs as well. They check ID for entry. It's $$ but decent portion sizes. Enjoy!

My party of 6 came here to celebrate my birthday. I wanted a rooftop with unlimited brunch drinks and Hotel Chantelle did not disappoint. When we arrived, the sky was overcast with chances of a shower, so the retractable roof was closed but during brunch the skies cleared up, so the roof was opened! The drinks were FLOWING. Or waiter never allowed our carafes to be empty and we appreciated it. There was a choice between the types of brunch beverages we could get so once we found one we liked, we stuck with it. There was a live DJ and I'm not sure whether the rest of the diners were enjoying the music but we definitely did. The food fine, not spectacular and was basically family style which worked well for our party.

DO NOT COME HERE!!!! this place was tiny AF and did not accommodate anyone inside. Not only were the bouncers comeplete tools they tried to stop us from leaving to "clean the stairs" which is ridiculou. they will never receive the patronship myself and my group gave them again, considering the fact we spent way over $1,000 on bottle service, a table, and more. horrible experience if i could give less than one star i would.

Went here for brunch on 11/28/21 with the wife. This has a rooftop vibe, even in the winter. It was brightly lit, which I appreciated. Set up is cool, crispy decor. They had a jazz band playing and they were kind of fire, lead singers name is Roma, a white kid who did his thing. Anyway, the food and service. We were seated right away. The waitress was mad cool, she explained about the bottomless drinks. Wifey tapped out, we were roman candle lit the night before, so I opted to get a la carte drinks. I had their special margarita they had on the menu, it was good. The orange slice was a dope twist. Wifey ordered chicken and waffles, she said the chicken was good but did not like the waffle. The waitress noticed she wasn't enjoying her meal, and asked if she wanted to swap it out. She did for the stuffed french toast, and that was a good decision, my boo boo so smart . It was banging. I had the steak and eggs, it came with potatoes and it was all very good. Our waitress was mad attentive and the whole staff was mad nice. We'll definitely be back with the gang.

Had a weekend brunch with friends at Hotel Chantelle's rooftop. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and we shared the Truffle Cauliflower Tots. The outdoor venue was very cute, but the food overall was standard brunch-fare and overpriced. The tater tots were well-fried, but frankly couldn't taste the truffle from its namesake. Our table was pretty cramped with our adjacent diner as well, and we had to turn sideways and squeeze when we were leaving.

Never met a place that had such rude staff! Came here last night for a Halloween event and every single staff member here was unbelievable rude. The security and people who would run out the bottles kept flashing their bright flashlights in everyone's faces and PUSHING past people. It was so crowded and I understand they need to get through the crowd but you don't need to shove people so hard that you knock them forward a few steps. There was a poor girl next to me who got shoved so hard by a male security guard that she dropped her drink. Another guy was standing and the same security guard shoved past, knocking him into another person. The guy pushed back and the security guard came back to push him again, it's crazy. I myself got pushed a few times and they don't even apologize. I started to move myself out of the way whenever I saw them coming just so they wouldn't keep pushing me. And the woman with long braids and wearing all black working the bathroom line on the main floor was so rude and horrible to the people there, she was on a power trip. I was waiting in line and she kept yelling at people to not stand in certain spots even though they just got to the line and were trying to figure out where to go. A girl went to the stall and the woman ran to the door and opened the door on the girl for no reason! If anyone spoke up, she would get belligerent and tell them she would kick them out of the line and the club. One of the two stalls was incredibly disgusting, there was piss and vomit all over the floor so I did not want to use that one and told her so. The girl behind me heard what I said, so I told her that that stall was dirty and she should wait to use the other one like me. A guy in line behind her heard as well and the girl mentioned what I said and this woman ran up to her and started getting the girls's face asking what she said, how dare she say the stall was dirty and told her to not listen and agree with what I said, that she didn't need to be a follower and needed to be a woman who had her own opinions. Like what?! Where is this coming from?! She told the girl she was using the dirty bathroom and if she didn't like it, she would kick her out and she told the guy she would kick him out as well. There is no need to be rude to people and to talk to them this way. I wish I had spoken up to her then but I knew she would just get started on me and I didn't want to risk being kicked out myself. Horrible staff. Will never be going back here again. I paid $100 for a ticket to get in, not to mention what I spent on drinks, just to have an experience like this.

Picking two stars based on Yelp's added comment where two stars indicate "could've been better" versus three stars which indicate "OK." I wish I could rate three but given the service, food and atmosphere I must say I was disappointed even for COVID times and social distancing. My out of town friend was visiting and she asked for a "cute brunch place," so I booked a patio table for noon after seeing the photos of the main patio online. To my dismay, we were sat in the private room/smaller area that is still considered the patio and more of an afterthought, as the main room was full. Already disappointed, it set the tone for the rest of our experience. My friend and I opted for the pitcher of breakfast margs ($40) to go with the steak and eggs ($28) and Spanish baked eggs ($22). The pitcher arrived relatively quickly, followed by a 20 minute wait without anyone checking on us until our food landed on the table. Here is where I started to believe that this place makes their money on alcohol sales in hopes that patrons continue to drink their bevs and gloss over the food. The marg was fine and the pitcher was definitely huge so I can't complain there. My friend's skirt steak needed way more salt and wasn't even cut against the grain. The chimi needed more vinegar, fresh garlic and salt because it lacked that needed brightness and punchiness, it ended up being bland on top of chewy bland. As for my Spanish baked eggs topped with chives instead of the advertised cilantro, the poached eggs (I dunno why the menu says baked eggs and describes the dish as poached eggs underneath--semantics) weren't runny but perhaps I should've specified that to my waiter (I also understand that weekend brunch service as a chef/cook is a hellish and difficult shift due to the volume of eggs being pumped out the kitchen). The toast with my eggs was just sourdough toast, no butter or oil. Overall my baked eggs were alright and I liked the tang of cheddar and sour cream but I've had better for cheaper. After paying the check, my waiter brought over two margs to-go (is this legal?), which was appreciated. All that being said, I think this place could've been much better in terms of experience and food and I have little incentive to return. By the time I left, all indoor seats were filled and there was a line almost reaching the end of the block so, clearly this establishment has been doing fine without my patronage. No harm, no foul, it's just not the place for me.

Purchased a Pulsd deal which included dinner for 2. Terms did not state any information regarding dates, times and or using this deal on a holiday. It did in fact state that a PHONE reservation was required. After not being able to get ahold of anyone I made the reservation online for 4:30 DINNER. I stated in the notes that I would be using the Pulsd dinner deal for 2. I then called at noon (4.5 hours before my reservation0 to confirm that we had a 4:30 Sunday dinner reservation and would be using a pulsd deal. My reservation was confirmed and she stated that the kitchen would be closing at 4:45 so to be on time. We arrived at 4:10 and we were seated quickly. After realizing we were given the Brunch menu, I asked our waiter for a dinner menu. He never returned. 20min later a female came and stated that on Sundays they only serve brunch. She insisted that all of that information was on pulsd ( it isn't ! ) She said she would accommodate and gladly accept the pulsd deal any other day. Not sure how that would be "accommodating" obviously it would have to be ANY OTHER DAY if you guys aren't offering it ON THE DAY OF THE RESERVATION. We decided to leave as we were not in the mood for brunch nor was the service good. I don't understand how employees are not aware of things both the host and waiter should have known that dinner is not available Sundays. We should not have been seated for over 30min waiting for a menu that did not exist.
