Haleem in Hyderabad, India, Is a Famous Ramadan Tradition - Eater

"Anas Murtuza, the food critic behind BeingHydFoodie, claims he could fast for days after one bowl of haleem — though that doesn’t stop him from constantly visiting his go-to shop, City Diamond, a favorite of residents in Mehdipatnam." - Anusha Kulal

I ordered Khichdi Kheema from City Diamond Hotel, and to my shock, I found a cockroach in my meal! I had already eaten half of it before noticing. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the restaurant's cleanliness. I've attached a photo as proof so others can be aware before dining here. I urge the management to take immediate action to ensure food safety. Until then, I strongly advise against eating here.

This Hotel is located on the busiest road of Mehdipatnam, beef biryani is famous in this hotel, and Also in the Month Of Ramzan Beef Haleem is very famous and tasty. But Management is very very poor when it comes to buying Haleem. People are like crazy, everybody want first, no proper way to take away haleem. I request management to make a Q or arrange many counters instead of only one counter for haleem. Bad experience for Haleem. Never go to buy haleem after 5:30 PM. Crowd will crush you. Haleem plate is 180/- family pack is 500/- and jumbo for Rs 700/-

Though the biryanis are good here but the reason for hype is the haleem they make in Ramzan. You would not have tasted such rich and tasty haleem anywhere else in the world. But be mindful its made of beef. Its available only during Ramzan and its difficult to buy coz they dont have any branches and the place itself is very small. It always get sold out in few hours. Some tips to get your hand on it: Go early around 4pm or so and buy it when the crowd is still less. If you go little late like around 6 pm then be prepared for the hustle. Park your vehicle a bit far or in the side lanes adjacent to the restaurant. Make sure you dont carry wallet or mobile phone in your pocket. Better to take tokens for single plate of haleem than taking a family or bigger pack. The queue for single box is seperate and less crowded. If you happen to take family or diamond pack coupon then try not to loose them. Be careful as there would be stampede like situation when you enter the queue for getting haleem. I saw many of them getting hurt. All in all its worth all these efforts coz the haleem is super delicious.

The taste of biryani was good and the quantity is enough for 2 persons you must try. But i wanted to demand to open a branch in old city so we can eat whenever we want because i had ordered biryani from swiggy approximately it took more than 30 minutes to deliver. If there will be branch in old city we will be more satisfied

Tried almost every place for biryani in Hyderabad, but trust me this one's a bullseye. If there's a place I'll have the finest biryani after home, it'll be city diamond. Pro-tip: they also serve during late hours!

Overhyped I'll say The worst ever biryani i ate City diamond was a diamond before but not now it is just increasing the biryani but not increasing it's flavour really the cleanliness is 0 quality was 2/5 and the quantity was just 1/5 .... ....,,,

I don't know previously how people gave that much good feedback for worst biryani. Seriously I can say they are sucking our money and providing third class food. Today I eat chicken Biryani in this hotel and I can say I never eat this much worst biryani ever. I eat different foods in different countries and I even eat Pakistani and Bangladeshi biryani in South Africa but I never eat this kind of worst biryani ever. They charging 120 Rupees for the chicken Biryani handi but with less quantity and worst quality. The chef don't even know how to prepare Mirchi curry for biryani. I am wondering how this hotel is surviving. On top of it they mentioned they don't have branches. Management should act atleast now.
