The room was spacious enough.|Tea and coffee-making facilities are provided; however, only 2 sachets of decaf coffee are offered and no milk or milk sachets are included - we had to ask at reception and were then provided with fresh milk to keep in our fridge and a few more coffee sachets.|There was a safe in the room and a fridge, which was really useful for storing milk and medication.|The bathroom was clean and adequate and contained a good selection of toiletry items. However, there was no separate conditioner and I found the combined 'shampoo and conditioner' did not really condition my hair. Inclusion of this, rather than some of the less-needed toiletry items would have been preferable.|Usually, we find hotel rooms can be stuffy and too warm at night. This was not the problem here but, there is no duvet on the bed - just a sheet and a thin blanket / throw. We made the mistake of leaving our air-con on too low a temperature and felt cold overnight. It was great to have working air-con and it was quiet enough to have on overnight without disturbing our sleep. Just need to remember to turn up the thermastat!|Unfortunately, I found the bed too hard and uncomfortable and this resulted in poor sleep over our 3-night stay. It was lovely to return to my own bed.|Breakfast contained a fair selection of tasty products and enabled me to indulge in the local delicacy - a xuixo - without needing to purchase one from a bakery or cafe. What's a xuixo? ... imagine a sugary custard donut in the shape of a croissant ... yummy!|The hotel was well-positioned for our exploits around town and within walking distance to the train station.
