We booked Hotel Clark after being recommended by a family member. It did not disappoint. We stayed on level 7 with a balcony Danube view room, it was spotlessly clean and the view stunning. The perfect place to come back to after a busy day exploring the city with lots of walking. Definitely worth the price of the upgrade. The roll top bath next to the windows was a lovely experience. The staff are great, very friendly and attentive. Breakfast has been included and absolutely lovely, lots of choice, fresh tea/coffee/orange juice. Viktor in particular, can not do enough for you, constantly checking if we wanted or needed anything else. Then finally the location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city, easy public transport links or walkable distance for lots of sightseeing spots. All in all a wonderful stay and a great hotel in a lovely city.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Clark. It's a beautiful hotel in the best possible location. We stayed in one of the 7th floor suites and had an amazing view to the castle and over the bridge. We were greeted very warmly and made to feel as comfortable as possible. The staff were generous with the welcome drinks and the beautiful room that was prepared. We had a temporary issue with some noise in the room, but the staff and manager in particular were extremely accommodating in addressing our concerns and offering solutions. The suite was beautiful and the bath very luxurious. The only wish was to have a bit of space to store larger luggage as there was no dedicated space for this. The room service menu featured some delicious food from the hotel restaurant that I can sincerely recommend. We really appreciate the extra efforts of the staff to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We can definitely recommend this hotel! 10/10 service

We stayed for a new year break and the reception we were given was excellent. We were warmly greeted at reception and then once booked in, the hotel surprised us with a chilled bottle of wine and glasses as a welcoming gift along with complimentary priority passes for the Budapest wheel. The gifts continued with a party pack for new year which included chocolates, champagne and party poppers - a great touch to help celebrate the new year. The rooms are stylish and comfortable - the suite we had was a little small but it was well laid out and the views over the chain bridge were amazing. The location is ideal and the staff were always ready to help. We ended up enjoying NYE in the rooftop bar (which is a separate company but works well with the hotel) and enjoyed the views over the city. This is a new hotel keen to make its mark and the tie in with the lions and the Scottish engineer who built the chain bridge (Adam Clark) makes for a strong identity with the lion logo used throughout the hotel. Communication with the staff prior to out arrival was also good. The staff are the stars here.

The location is perfect, just down the hill from the Buda Castle and cathedral, and right next to a bridge across the Danube that has breathtaking views. What is more, the staff is exceptional, hotel is beautiful, and rooms are wonderful. We went there to celebrate my 50th birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to celebrate me by procuring a cake and putting together a little drinks and dessert basket for me. We loved Hotel Clark, and definitely plan to return!

Outstanding experience and exceptional service at a luxurious, world-class hotel. The hotel’s prime location next to the Chain Bridge made it incredibly convenient to walk over to the Pest side. We dined at the bistro and enjoyed one of the best surf and turf meals we’ve ever experienced.

My girlfriend and I considered a few hotels around Budapest for our Christmas and New Year celebration. Hotel Clark stood out to us based on it's luxury decor, location, views and rooftop bar... All of our EXPECTATIONS WERE EXCEEDED.||When we arrived (29.12.24) we were met by Ádám at the front desk, who made us feel very welcome and relaxed, even kindly asking about our flight etc. The Prosecco was a nice touch to make a somewhat delayed journey forgettable.||When we arrived in the room, we were delighted by the way it looked and felt, but were drawn to the window which perfectly framed the Chain Bridge over the Danube (photos attached). The room itself was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we needed - the only thing we had to ask for (which we got) was an iron.||During our stay we use hotel facilities such as the bar, lounge, toilets, room service and rooftop bar (which I'll review separately). All of the areas were atmospheric, modern and enjoyable to be in. The drinks were great - high quality cocktails. The lounge was comfortable. The toilets were clean. The breakfast (room service) was incredibly tasty. ||However, the thing that pulled it all together was Ádám's service throughout. He was fun and professional tending to our needs and requests, but more than that he went the extra mile wherever he could. Ádám, if you are reading this, thank you once again!||Finally, the Leo Rooftop Bar... We pre-booked this venue above the hotel for our new year celebration dinner. We were provided seats right by the window with prime views across the city and very well looked after. In my opinion, the food and service could be of Michelin level. We had almost 12 dishes from the menu and each of them were fantastic.||All in all, if you hadn't already gathered from this review. We LOVED it and would stay there again / recommend it without hesitation.||For those looking to explore the city, it is also very central to everything and easy to get to attractions both sides of the river.||You can't go wrong with this hotel and it's staff.

Beautiful modern hotel 100m from|The funicular to the castle on a busy round about on the Buda side of the river. Rooftop bar is amazing for drinks and food (need to book) and we have an amazing 7th floor room with views and a balcony. Expensive but worth the cost, child free hotel so no noise or running around. Perfect position for “bolt or Ubers “ across the city 15 minutes to the baths and 45 from airport.
