One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. It was a bit of a splurge, and worth it. Lovely check-in in English, beautiful garden path to room. Secluded, simple, organic and luxurious, if you can imagine that. The luxury was in the privacy and accoutrements. A wooden bath, tatami mats, chairs with lap blankets, to name a few. They offer several beverages in the mini fridge that are complementary, and the breakfast was tasty and interesting.
The location was steps from the temples and shopping. Find Dai store for vintage kimono remnants, so pretty. Their sushi restaurant rec was so good! The set is multi-course: be hungry.
