Hotel Das Rübezahl is a charming Bavarian hotel with a fantastic location near Neuschwanstein Castle. The rooms are cozy and well maintained, and the wellness area is a real highlight, offering a relaxing atmosphere with beautiful views. One special experience was the torch walk, a unique and memorable touch to our stay. The food is an absolute dream, beautifully presented and exceptional in taste. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel truly welcome. A wonderful place for a relaxing and memorable getaway in Bavaria.

I can't wait to stay at this hotel again. Great service, lovely rooms, wonderful spa amenities. The restaurant is good but the breakfast spread is fabulous. Easily the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. The hot tubs werent hot enough but all the different saunas and the steam room were just wonderful.

We stayed at Boutique Hotel Das Rübezahl for a weekend, and the experience was fantastic.|The hotel is in a stunning location, right across from Neuschwanstein Castle, which creates an incredible atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, modern, and most offer amazing views of the mountains and the castle. I especially loved the room with a fireplace — cozy and romantic.|The staff is very friendly and attentive. Upon check-in, we were welcomed with a drink by the fireplace, which immediately set a relaxing tone. Breakfasts are varied and delicious, and dinner at the Louis II restaurant was an absolute culinary delight.|The spa area deserves special mention. The Turkish bath, sauna with mountain views, and jacuzzi make it the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. There’s also an indoor and outdoor pool where you can relax and enjoy the scenery.

I loved it all. The food, free bike rental, free parking, the cows and scenery, the spa area, the cleanliness and care for the whole property, and the water fountain in the room. Lots of spa options! I got the package with food included and the meals were excellent! I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to go to the Neuschwanstein castle area. Come for the castle, stay for this hotel! Amazing experience, amazing hotel, amazing staff, amazing food, amazing views, we came 2nd time to this hotel in few months, we like it very much. To the management: please improve WiFi connection outside seating area next to the cold pool and overall all seating area outside

A Magical Stay at Hotel Das Rübezahl Our stay at Hotel Das Rübezahl was simply unforgettable. From the stunning views of Neuschwanstein Castle to the warm, attentive service, every moment felt special. The room was elegant and cozy, the spa was pure bliss, and the food was exceptional—beautifully prepared with local flavors. It’s a place where luxury meets heart, and we can’t wait to return.

This is an amazing property nestled in the valley below Neuschwanstein castle. It’s a few mins drive to the darling town of Fussen with quaint shops and nice restaurants. |Everything about the hotel is incredible….Very friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast and dinner and cozy rooms. The spa area that all are free to use is the nicest one I’ve ever seen that’s included in the price of your room. Cold plunge, heated pool, hot tub and sauna are all available. In addition there are several rooms for you to relax in as you enjoy a soothing environment. |There is a bar and sitting area in the lobby that make for nice common areas to meet up with your companions. Would definitely stay here again.

Pros: The hotel is in a great location, close to castles and within walking distance of Füssen. The breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety, the staff was friendly, the room was cozy, and the spa service was excellent. Cons: In my opinion, the room service fee (9€) was a bit high, and the room cleaning could have been better. Once, they left wet rags on the table, and on the first day they forgot to replace towels that were left on the floor. We also had issues with the TV remote, but the staff resolved it upon our request. We missed having a kettle in the room to make tea and warm up on chilly autumn days. Overall, it’s a good hotel, but for such a price, I would like to face fewer disadvantages.

This is a little haven of grace and style in the shadow of the mad king Ludwig's Neuschwanstein. You will be extremely happy if you stay here.

I found this place online when looking for a small but luxury country hotel in Bavaria. As we were celebrating a very special occasion, six of us came to stay here for a weekend. It's located in the town of Schwangau and you can see the Neuschwanstein Castle from the balconies on many of the rooms. It's quite a picturesque view and a lovely area. The hotel has about 54 rooms and two restaurants a bar and wellness center. The staff are very nice here and the rooms are also nice. Breakfast is included and it was a nice assortment of choices that were well prepared. The bar is also very nice with a great list of cocktails and the bar tender here makes his own schnapps which are to die for :-) amazing hazelnut schnapps homemade. Our rooms were nice and comfortable with all the facilities you would expect including a nice bag for the use of the wellness center including towels and so on. If you forget your bathing suit they do have some you can borrow. All in all a lovely experience and I would come back here again.

We stayed seven nights at the hotel while touring the area and enjoying the spa. The service has been truly lovely. Our German is small and everyone went out of their way to be gracious, helpful and kind. Rooms very comfortable and food was quite good.
