Hôtel de la Cigogne

Highly recommend this 5-star hotel located in the heart of central Geneva. Old world style decor, well maintained and clean. Elegant seating areas. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, luxurious beds and bathrooms. Fully serviced daily. Staff is very friendly and professional. It is located close to many restaurants and local attractions.

An excellent hotel. It is classic and elegant and its staff very attentive and proper, as a hotel should be. I hope to come back again next time I visit Geneva because there are not that many hotels that keep the level as I felt in this one. Well done.

We had an amazing stay there last week. Every member of the staff that we’ve met was friendly and efficient. The room was big and even though the decor of the hotel wasn’t our style we enjoyed a lot or stay and would stay there again.

My husband and I recently returned from Switzerland. We spent four nights at the hotel and would return without hesitation. The check in was seamless and the staff were personable and helpful. The location is great for exploring Old Town and walking to the Lake and there is a fantastic Lebanese restaurant only a couple of doors down.

Location is excellent. Rooms haven't been renovated for a while. Shower was clogged. Staff was fine. Didn't try the breakfast. Overpriced.

Exactly what we needed after a very early flight with lots of luggage! The rooms are beautiful and a standard room has luxurious fittings and space. We had a an interconnecting room for the family and they made such an effort for the kids to feel comfortable and special. Breakfast was superb. Location perfect to hit the shops/see the lake. Together with my wife we spent 3 days at this very charming and elegant hotel.|Everything is so well maintained in this historical hotel and each room is different.|The service in the hotel is very attentive and thoughtful. We also had dinner in|the hotel restaurant. The menu is delicious and the wine card too.|The hotel is located in the heart of Geneva. All sites and elegant stores are in walking |distance. |We will certainly come back!

The hotel is in a wonderful location with easy access to the lake , old town and public transport . The building is full of character and our room was just perfect . The room was spacious , spotlessly clean and had all the amenities you could need . Service at the hotel was impeccable. From all the staff members we had contact with from check in to check out we couldn’t ask for a more approachable , friendly , kind , professional approach . We only had breakfast at the hotel which was included in our room rate so I cannot comment on evening meals . However the classic breakfast included was excellent quality , presented beautifully and more importantly the cooked options tasted lovely . It was our first visit to Geneva and indeed it’s a beautiful city with lots to see . I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to visit again when we can . Thank you to all .
