This hotel is something else!. The grandeur and 100 years of history is told through thousands of curated pieces that adorn every space from ceilings to floors. The richness and boldness of colours celebrate the vibrant vitnamese culture and strong french influence. The rooms are spacious and welcoming after a day of exploring. The small touches of umbrellas, fluffy bath robes, toiletries and heavenly scented bath products were very much appreciated along with the nightly chocolate delivery and fresh towels. The staff are exceptional hosts with genuine smiles and curiosity. Thoughtful, caring and inquisitive they truely made our stay memorable. Breakfast is a masterclass in how to cater to a range of international customers - from sweet delicious fruit, fresh pastries, hot choices (western and asian noodles, pho, etc), cheeses, salads, yougurts and delicious barista made coffee. Fransipan rail can be accessed from the hotel lobby. Clothing stores with trekking gear are moments from the hotel. A fantastic laundromat is one block away. Every nook is an instagram moment. We highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel de la Coupole in Sapa was truly one of the most beautiful hotel experiences I’ve had in Vietnam. From the moment you step inside, it feels like you’ve entered a world of French elegance blended perfectly with the charm of Sapa’s mountains.||The interiors are stunning — every corner is thoughtfully designed, yet it never feels overwhelming. Our room had breathtaking views of the valley and the soft clouds rolling over the hills in the mornings, which honestly made it hard to leave the bed. The atmosphere throughout the hotel feels calm, refined, and quietly luxurious.||The service was just as impressive. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind — and they went out of their way to help me with photos around the property, which made such a difference and added so much to my experience. Whether it was arranging transport, suggesting places to visit, or simply checking in to make sure we were comfortable, everything felt effortless.||Breakfast was another highlight, with a great selection of international dishes. There weren’t many Indian options, but with the variety and quality available, it didn’t really take away from the overall experience. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and enjoyed with incredible views.||What I loved most is how the hotel feels like a destination in itself. After long days exploring Sapa, coming back here felt like returning to a peaceful, elegant retreat.||If you’re visiting Sapa and want a stay that feels both luxurious and soulful, Hotel de la Coupole is truly special. ✨

I would say this is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at while traveling around the world. It truly feels like being in a castle and a museum at the same time. There are so many beautiful spots throughout the hotel for taking photos.The indoor swimming pool is warm, which is amazing—you should definitely bring your swimsuit (unfortunately, I didn’t). The design is spectacular, and you really should spare some time to enjoy the facilities, whether it’s the swimming pool, hotel bar, garden, or other areas. Don’t miss going up to the top floor to take a signature photo on the bridge.The atmosphere is classic and luxurious. The location is right in the heart of Sapa, making it very convenient to get around the city and find local food. The staff are kind, professional, and very helpful—they also gave us great advice for visiting Fansipan.

La Coupole Sapa is like seeing tv in colour for the first time with everything else in monochrome. The creativity of the interior design is astonishing. Like the proverbial onion is just constantly peels back to reveal layers of intricate attention to detail and a labour of love. I am amazed that a hotel like this would be built in this era and more so in Sapa! A visit to the glorious swimming pool transports you back to a previous century of classic art deco. The rooms are beautiful with the one caveat that there is hardly any storage for clothes. Service is excellent. Would highly recommend a stay at this one of a kind hotel.

Only stayed one night but oh my goodness the service and staff were beautiful! Boyfriend recommended that we stay here after he stayed with his family and it didn’t disappoint and went beyond my expectations! Felt so safe, cared for and welcomed during my stay even got complimentary hot chocolate on arrival! Everyone was super sweet and would greet us wherever we were in the hotel and the breakfast was also incredible they had such a variety of food from western to Vietnamese! The location was amazing and it was central to everything! Even ordered room service last night and the food went beyond my expectations too! When ordering the staff asked whether I had any allergies so they could cater to my needs! I definitely will be staying here again when coming back to Sapa and for longer too cause one night is never enough! So thank you to everyone at the hotel for my making my stay everything I would have hoped for!! 🩷

The common areas are just as impressive — grand, stylish, and completely Instagrammable. Every corner is picture-perfect. The heated indoor pool is a highlight: warm, relaxing, and beautifully designed, making it ideal after a cool day in Sapa. The views from the hotel are breathtaking, overlooking the majestic mountains — pure magic, especially during sunrise and sunset. One of the most remarkable perks of staying here is the WOW Fansipan experience. We availed the VIP pass to Fansipan, and it was absolutely worth it — zero waiting time, seamless access, and a stress-free journey to the “Roof of Indochina.” Even better, the hotel has a convenient shortcut with direct access to the Sapa Station for the Fansipan cable car, making the entire trip incredibly easy and exclusive. The staff deserves special praise. They are warm, gracious, and incredibly accommodating. We traveled during Tet Holiday, so the hotel was fully booked and early check-in wasn’t possible. However, they went above and beyond to make us comfortable — they offered welcome drinks and even allowed us to freshen up and shower at the pool area while waiting for our room. Because we are members of ALL - Accor Live Limitless, we highly recommend signing up before your stay. Thanks to our membership, we received a complimentary room upgrade, welcome drinks, 30% discount on food, and 15% discount on drinks — amazing perks that made the experience even better. To make our stay even more unforgettable, the team surprised my husband with a beautifully prepared birthday setup — a delicious birthday cake and romantic petals arranged all over the room. It was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture that made our celebration truly special. Everything about this hotel — the design, the comfort, the service, the views, the amenities, and the exclusive Fansipan access — is world-class. If you are visiting Sapa, this is THE place to stay. The best hotel to stay in Sapa! Starting from the reservation team Lenna, Nguyen, Tran, and Kylie for giving their best assistance and detailed information prior to our arrival so we can booked the Fansipan tour in advance with a complete package inclusion and the VIP pass as well so there is no queue at all and we could really enjoy our trip and sightseeing at Fansipan. Really appreciate Mr. Peter (General Manager) who spent time to welcome us in the morning and introduce about the hotel itself to us. Very kind and helpful Front Office team for the assistance and giving us early check in as well so we can freshen up on that day after night journey. Really grateful for the room upgrade as well. Thanks to Huoi bellboy and also My the Concierge who assist us during our stay. The food in the restaurant is really tasty, Beef Pho and also I add pork in the pho for another day, delicious. Tried the drinks and some snacks in the bar as well, the staff is really helpful and the ambiance is really magical. We really love the fantastic and magical ambiance created in every area in the hotel, really the best place to stay in Sapa.

I make a point of visiting hotels designed by Bill Bensley, and this one is well worth the 8-hour travel from Hanoi. A beautifully designed hotel, world-class in fact, nestled in the mountain town of Sapa. Orante features, comfortable rooms, fantastic facilities, and an amazing team bringing it all to life! Loved every minute of our 2 night stay.
