The 10 Best Hotels in the Dolomites to Book Now - AFAR

"Run by Egnazia Ospitalità Italiana, the group behind the beloved Borgo Egnazia in Puglia, Hotel de Len is located in the center of Cortina d’Ampezzo, the Dolomites’ most famous town. Occupying the historic Hotel Imperois, this boutique hotel represents the next generation of modern alpine accommodations. There are 22 room types, but they all share the Swiss Optimal Living Society certification, awarded to rooms designed to reduce harmful environmental factors and ensure quality sleep. The best views can be found at the sixth-floor spa, equipped with a Finnish sauna, steam baths, an ice fountain, and an outdoor Jacuzzi. The restaurant offers all-day dining, while the speakeasy-style Bar de Len serves barrel-aged cocktails. From $532" - Erica Firpo, Laura Itzkowitz

I have not been a customer of the hotel, but I am happy to write this review because they deserve praise. Due to a personal problem I had to ask for help from the staff of that hotel since it was the only business open at the time. The staff was extremely courteous and professional, treating me better than many other hotels where I am a regular customer. Thank you! I will certainly evaluate your place the next time I am in Cortina.

I LOVED this Hotel, one of the best properties i have been in a long time. The rooms with a view are outstandingly appointed, the bathrooms huge with amenities never seen before. Even the light switches are Design. Pet friendly with snacks, a dog bed and water, Exceptional breakfast. A cozy restaurant serves outstanding innovative food for dinner. The lounge and the Spa are examples of what can be done to please the guest. The owners of this place know what hospitality and service really are. BRAVO. I will come back for sure and will recommend this Hotel.

The room we booked was nothing like what was advertised. The “view” that was described was actually a view of the parking lot and no view of the Dolomites. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful and moved our room, but it appeared they were only able to because the hotel was empty. There was a thermostat in the room but absolutely no cold air coming in so we had to open the door that was connected to another hotel members balcony, plus allowed horrendous busy street noise into the room. The hotel being $800+ a night PLUS additional fees ($50 per night for parking, $25 room service fee when the kitchen is only 2 floors down) is absurd. The only thing I have to say about this hotel being nice is the staff. The updated rooms is the only thing this hotel has to offer and it does not make up for the poor room “view” advertising and uncalled for additional fees. Breakfast was included but the only thing you can order is eggs. Only allowing 60 minutes per STAY in the spa is not okay either, or again having to pay more if you’d like to stay more than an hour. I will never stay at this hotel again. It was a total rip off.

Great hotel, located in the city center everything is a small walk from the hotel. The spa is super nice and private so you can relax after a day of skiing.

Amazing hotel with the perfect location for walking around Cortina! Also 2 minutes away by walk from the bus station. The staff is very helpful and the spa is great with an outdoor jacuzzi in the highest floor!

Hotel De Len was fabulous. The staff are so kind and helpful, the location is perfect, and the spa is INCREDIBLE (nothing better after a long day of hiking!) The room was clean and comfortable and the view of the mountains from our balcony was stunning. Highly recommend!

Minimalism meets Alpine traditions. Wood and stone are sensibly blended with sustainable and modern elements. Breakfast is fantastic, using fresh ingredients from the vicinity. The highlight is the rooftop spa with a gorgeous view over the valley.

Stayed here for two nights. Excellent service, great breakfast and amazing location. Finding parking can be bit tedious, it would be better if management can provide exact parking location on their website. We will definitely consider staying here again when we visit Cortina again.
