I had a great time here, thanks so much to the entire team! I really enjoyed the afternoon tea and loved the welcoming chocolates. They even gave me goodbye cookies, which was such a thoughtful touch. What I truly appreciated about the hotel is its theme. While it has been renovated, the bed and overall decor are vintage, yet the bathroom is modern, a perfect blend of old and new.

There are no faults to be found at this lovely hotel, where the welcoming friendliness is high on the agenda. It is very well situated in Central Bruges and in a quiet cul-se-sac. |The decor and furniture are individual to each room, a Nespresso coffee machine ensures the complementary warm drinks, also still and sparkling water bottles are complimentary. The mini bar is super-small but has a good choice. |Bathroom filled with high quality toiletries and a great walk in shower.|We loved the “sitting area” with an open fire where we were offered a free welcome drink…

My daughter and I wanted to go to bruge for the Christmas martets. We choose this hotel and it was certainly worth it. It right in the heart of the town and right beside the canal which was great for the boat trips. On arrival the hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We were greeted by very friendly helpful staff and found every staff member friendly and helpful.l throughout our stay. Our room over looked the street which was quite with no noise at night. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. ||We will definitely return again.

The hotel is in a very convenient location. Parking is about two short blocks away - which is good for such a historic center location. The breakfast was outstanding. The breakfast room and the sitting room are beautiful and relaxing. The staff was attentive and helpful. The room had a sitting area, sufficient room for our 5 pieces of luggage and had a great shower. Wonderful place. We will be looking into some of their sister properties.

This is the most wonderful place I’ve ever slept at! The hotel is quite small, the room likewise, but what an atmosphere! It was just lovely in every possible way.|There were two (if not more) lovely fireplaces with huge chairs and sofas around and a third fireplace where the breakfast was served. And since it’s nearly Christmas, there was several trees and a lot of lights everywhere. The bed was good, the pillows likewise. We got two chocolates and some wasabi, and there was water (with and without gas) and coffee.|The night between 5th and 6th of December, we were asked to put our shoes outside the room. “Sinterklaas” was coming during the night. And he did- and left presents! And we even got a little something when we checked out. ||This is a memory for life. Thank you!!

What a lovely hotel, so beautifully decorated for Christmas , warm and welcoming and staffed with the most cheerful and charming staff. Perfect couple of days for us so central to everything and very dog friendly, Good breakfast buffet and such a great relaxed atmosphere. Nice to be greeted on arrival with a voucher for champagne in the bar and also a box of chocolates. Thank you for making us so welcome, we hope to return. Carol, Jeremy & Henry doodle.

The hotel is in the center of everything. Especially when decorated for Christmas it is as if you live in a fairytale. The rooms are really nice, the quality of the bed very good. The staff extremely friendly and ready to assist in every possible way. The room for the breakfast is overseeing the canal, it very beautyful and the quality of the breakfast is high. Same with the tea room for someone who wants to emjoy a drink by the fire place. We shall definitely stay there again.|The only recommendation i would have is the bath towels. They do not match the quality of the hotel and have to be replaced asap.

Fantastic hotel in Brugge. It is in an older building repurposed as a hotel and beautifully decorated and situated. One side is on the canal and the other on a quiet side street. I stayed in the hotel annex across from the main hotel in a very spacious, extremely clean and comfortable room that was completely quiet. It looked out onto a private hotel garden with a view of the belfry tower. The bathroom was huge with modern fixtures and spacious shower and tub. Breakfast is served in the main hotel in a room overlooking the canal; the food was plentiful and excellent. An outstanding feature of the hotel was the staff, who were extremely helpful and friendly.

Yelp
Great location right on the canal near the square. If you driving to the hotel it is kind of tough since it is on a one way street and there is no parking on site. You have to get directions from the front desk and park about a quarter mile away. Not too tough but if you miss the turn you will get lost like I did. Our room was on the first floor which I am never a fan of. People could see inside our room from the street in the evening when dark outside and light on inside so make sure to close the shades. Overall, the room is nice but not as nice as I thought it would be. In particular the bed wasn't too comfy and pillows were too soft. They have a cool lounge area with a fireplace to have a drink after dinner or late night. Very cozy. They also serve afternoon tea in the room if you are into it. My wife is so we did it. We came during Christmas so the market was going on which was fun if you want to try different seasonal food/drinks. It is right down the street. They also have a lot of chocolate shops and other souvenir shops nearby. It was a nice stay but for the price it wasn't the experience I thought it would be.

Yelp
This is a review for the afternoon champagne tea. The room was lovely, however a little warm. I was wearing a turtleneck and began wishing I had different attire. I got a hibiscus tea and my husband a black tea. The snacks arrived around the same time the tea did. The tea was in bags, not sure if that's their normal way or a COVID precaution but we are used to seeing loose leaf tea at afternoon tea. Not a problem, just something different. I loved my hibiscus tea and my husband loved his black tea. So that worked out nicely. One minor issue was that my teapot did not have a thing at the top to protect from the heat. So when I went to put the tea bag in the pot i burned my hand (not badly, but still ouch!) i assumed it was safe to grab! Oh well. On to the food - We had 3 different kinds of sandwiches: a salmon, an egg salad, and an avocado one. I'm allergic to shellfish so they gave us the avocado instead of their normal third choice. We got 4 scones - 2 regular and 2 raisin - with clotted cream and homemade jams. We then had an assortment of pastries. Everything I tried was good, I didn't even have room for the sweets! I preferred the raisin scone over the regular (which I never thought I would say). Overall it was a good experiences.

Yelp
I can only confirm the quality of this place. 3 mentions, top notch bed, breakfast of champions, amazing staff. If you had the fact that the hotel is located in the center, you can be sure that you're going to have a amazing moment with them.

Yelp
Take usual Belgian prices for drinks + 1€ and enjoy a nice lounge environnement away from the crowd, some little snacks, top service and a good moment with your friends and family. Open on Sunday.

Yelp
We loved everything about the Hotel de Orangerie! It is an elegant and quaint hotel in every way. We stayed two nights and were in room #106 which was a very large beautiful room with a sitting area. The bed was the largest we had in Europe and the enormous bathroom had a double sink, tub and shower. We enjoyed Champagne at the afternoon High Tea in the exquisite dining room, and possibly the highlight of our stay were the evenings sitting in the elegant living room in front of the fireplace drinking wine and Scotch. The staff is very friendly and we particularly recall Peter and Mano who both speak perfect English who were very kind in helping us with all sorts of things. This is really a great hotel.

Yelp
This hotel is so charming and romantic! It is perfectly situated in the middle of town and is within walking distance if all the attractions in Bruges. The rooms are picturesque and their dining room has a very cozy fireplace. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I will stay here again the next time I'm in town.
