I stopped by this place while on a motorcycle trip. The room was neat and clean, and a small issue with the shower is being corrected. I walked into an obviously top notch restaurant in shorts and a Hoodie and was accepted and received great service. My biker hair and clothing did not fit in 😁 A great place to stop and stay, and ease enjoy the great food.

The food was outstanding, we had the 4 course menu, the asparagus and the lamb with buckwheat were delicious. The service was on point and attentive. Highly recommended, we will comeback for sure.

The Restaurant at Die Burg Hotel is known to be the best restaurant within miles. The Brothers Grom have honed their skills in some of the best and most progressive restaurants of Europe, before opening up their own vision in the community they grew up in. The menu features German classics like Zwiebelrostbraten and Maultaschen, but it’s with the 5-course Die Burg Tasting menu that Chef Jasons full repertoire can be experienced. Dishes like In-House smoked Salmon-Trout with almonds and mirabelle plums, or Seared Duck with Red Cabbage and Coconut are instant classics! Everything is complemented with a perfect wine pairing, made by youngest brother Niklas. It features fresh and unexpected glasses from mamy German vineyards. This is a small hotel in a small town, run by two brothers. They studied in the best hotels of Switzerland and returned to open their own hotel and restaurant. The place has only been open for about a month and the experience is nearly flawless. You won't find a fancy spa, shopping mall, and water park... you'll have a wonderful quiet luxury experience for business or for pleasure.||||The facility is hard to find as it is not yet marked on the exterior. Perhaps this will improve.||||The rooms are simply appointed in contemporary styling. The beds are firm with crisp linens (comforters and pillows). My small complaint here is that the pillows are big and fluffy and it might be nice to have a smaller and firmer option. ||||The bathrooms (both in the guestrooms and in the public areas are newly plumbed with contemporary and delightful fixtures. All in nice working condition. The amenities in the bathroom are simple (bar of soap, small shampoo), but more than adequate for the task.||||The room was supplied with bottles of water, though the tap water tastes just fine.||||Internet access is ubiquitous and reasonably high speed. You will have to ask for the WiFi code at the front desk. There are plenty of outlets in the rooms to charge your devices, but they are kind of spread out all over the room. I felt like I all over the room to collect the charged devices as I was preparing to check out. It might be nice to have a multi-outlet strip somewhere.||||The breakfast is typical continental offering, though the quality is excellent. Made-to-order eggs are available. Freshly squeezed juices and consistently fine coffee are part of the experience.||||Dinner in the restaurant was a conversion to a gourmet experience with a wide range of very interesting pairings. Traditional stuff, in many cases, but prepared and presented in an unexpected way. The kitchen is open to the dining room through a window, so you have a sense of the "cool" factor of the kitchen without the dining room noise.||||The two brothers are amazingly attentive. I'm so impressed. Really well done in every aspect.
