We really loved pur stay in the hotel. We were a family of 5 woth three almost teen boys and we got three rooms which was phantastic. The breakfast is very delicious and all what someone needs was available. The walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and the Champs-Elyssee is additionally a big plus on the hotel. Also the small pedestrian area behind with their small local shops are very cute. We had a very pleasant stay and will come back again! Thank you!

We stayed 6 nights in this hotel and we had and amazing experience. Staff very friendly, room very clean. Spa is amazing, when you book it is only for you( we did not know that before and it was an amazing suprise). Breakfast is good, you have where to choose from to eat. Housekeeping staff very sweet and they did a very good job in the room. The hotel is very close to the Eiffel tower (10-15 min walk) but also it is very close to the Ecole Militaire metro station (extremely close) and you will arrive very fast to every attraction you want to go. The hotel is very close to lots and lots of restaurants and shops(basically you have everything you neeed). Room is suuuper nice, very big tv and even an Marshall speaker for music(only minus but that is not a complain is that you don’t have youtube on tv). So we enjoyed and we will 100% come back here when we will visit Paris again.

I had a wonderful stay at Hôtel du Cardan and would happily return. The hotel is beautifully designed—charming, stylish, and very Parisian—while still feeling comfortable and welcoming. The location is excellent, tucked away on a quiet street yet close to major attractions, cafés etc It was easy to explore the city on foot and by public transport. The room was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. Despite being in a central area, it was peaceful at night, which made for a very restful stay. The bed was comfortable, and the overall ambiance felt cozy and refined. The staff truly stood out: friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Their professionalism and warmth made the experience even better. Overall, Hôtel du Cardan is a lovely choice for anyone looking to experience Paris in a relaxed yet stylish setting.

Google
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hôtel du Cadran by Collection Vesper. This charming boutique hotel is set in a beautiful, fashionable, yet approachable residential neighborhood - conveniently within walking distance of major attractions and The Metro. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and offered an impressive variety catering to different tastes and nationalities. Rooms are small, but modern, clean, and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Google
Nice hotel in a quieter part of Paris, however near most things in the centre. Room was smaller, however that is probably a typical major city thing. The place was clean and tidy with a decent breakfast and the complementary chocolate drink was excellent. Beware the city tourist tax is not included in the room rate price.

Google
Perfect little hotel. Quiet rooms and clean ambience. The staff at reception are absolutely lovely and go above and beyond. A few areas of improvement: The beds are wayyyy too hard, I’d suggest adding toppers or different mattresses, these felt like concrete. The toilets have sliding doors with massive gaps - not cute for when people use the restroom Add curtains to the window in the toilet leading to bedroom Other than that, perfect location and sensational staff! Would come back if beds improve.

Google
Overall, I am pleased with the hotel. The staff at the front desk were excellent, and I appreciated the consistent hot water. The room size was small, but this is characteristic of Parisian accommodations and did not detract from my enjoyment.

Google
Hotel De Cadran was the perfect choice for our stay in Paris! The location is fantastic – just a short walk to major attractions, great cafes, and shops. It made getting around the city incredibly easy. The rooms were spotless, modern, and very comfortable. One of the standout features was the amazing air conditioning – a real lifesaver during the warmer days. What really impressed us was the hospitality of the staff. We arrived early from the U.S. and they were very accommodating, allowing us to check in early and settle in after a long flight. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Hotel De Cadran to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located place to stay in Paris.

Yelp
Everyone was friendly and helpful!!! Rooms were clean and comfortable. I would choose a bigger room next time, but that is on me not the hotel. Would stay here again

Yelp
Found this diamond near the Eiffel Tower (15 min walk). Boutique hotel in a great neighborhood- clean. Staff were incredibly nice & attentive & helpful. Special thanks to Massey who was amazing and incredibly helpful. The whole team was quite wonderful - I would definitely come here again for my next stay in Paris.

Yelp
We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and it was amazing. The staff are very friendly and speak English which is great. They also helped us with recommendations and arranging a car for a day trip. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds and posh decor, I am not sure if every room is the same but our room even had US power outlets so we did not need our adaptors. The windows give you a very Paris feel as you stare out. We enjoyed the breakfast and wine bar in the lobby and were very big fans of the location. Just a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and plenty of little stores and restaurants right outside the hotel including a very yummy gelato place. This hotel is incredible and I could not reccomend it more to anyone visiting Paris!

Yelp
Loved this hotel!! Posh, clean, kind staff. Had one debockel regarding breakfast tho. One staff member said it was not included in room while another said it was -- that was after we had already left to eat out. So, waste of money for us there. Loved the location though. I'd definitely stay again.

Yelp
Stayed here in November 2019. The room is "petite" by American standards, which is French for small. However it's a beautiful space to rest and recover from your journey into the city. The pictures do it justice and are spot on. From the hotel it's a short walk to the Eiffel Tower. Wonderful restaurants located close by. Area around hotel is very clean. Loved that they contacted me thru travelocity, before the trip, to offer a car service to pick us up from the airport. Great service and the staff helped point us in the direction we needed to go each day. 100% recommend and we would definitely stay there again.

Yelp
If you like to be treated like a "special guest" .....here, they will make all attemps to do this. They bend over backwards and can't do enough to make your stay memorable. Fantastic location (the 7th Arrondisement is the quintessential Paris neighborhood with it's charm and close to the grandest sites )...a few steps step away on the cobblestone street, RUE CLER....and a hop-skip-jump to the Eiffel Tower. You also may get a view of the tower from some of their rooms. The rooms are "typically" small. You can walk in any directions and soon be at many points of interest (the hotel was very close to where fashion week was held). Best thing=there are a multitude of chocolate shops ALL AROUND....and of course, macaroons available every few steps. See the photos essay.

Yelp
This hotel is awesome, I have zero complaints. Everything from the location to breakfast to the staff was 5 star. Not sure if he was the manager but he certainly acted like it, was hands down amazing! My son wanted to take him home with us. We had a wonderful stay here and I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Paris.

Yelp
This hotel was just fine. The location was good, the price was reasonable and I felt safe even though the door was open 24 hours. They have a place that your bags can wait if you get there early like we did, so that's nice. But it's just one big room and they let you go in to retrieve your items, so that's a little weird to me. The room was small (as is to be expected in the city) but efficient. Our room was set to arctic blast when we walked in-which was a lovely reprieve from the heat outside, but a painful reminder than the hallways, the elevator, and the tiny room where the waiting suitcases go do not have AC and get super hot. Sadly, our safe was broken, so I opted to carry our valuables on me while we walked around, and I was also very glad I brought earplugs with me for the plane because there was very little noise control from the street below. Again, all in all, this hotel is fine for the price and location.

Yelp
It was 88 degrees Fahrenheit on the day we landed in Paris. We checked in the hotel and was told that we will be staying at their other building across the street on the 3rd floor but the elevator is not working. We had a lot of luggage so it was pretty crazy. Finally got to the room (out of breath, sweaty and exhausted) to find that the air conditioner and refrigerator did not work. Complained to the front desk but they insisted that it's working and they did not have another room avail anyway. By the third day the hotel left fans in everyone's room and the temperature outside cooled down considerably so we were fine. That being said I enjoyed staying at this hotel (when the weather was cooler). The location is safe and convenient - Lots of good restaurants, grocery stores and a 15 mins walk to the Eiffel Tower. The room was small but clean, the staffs were all very helpful and nice.

Yelp
This hotel is great if you're traveling for vacation. The location is amazing. It's near the Rue Cler which offers restaurants and great shops. It's a quick walk to the Eifel Tower. It's also a couple blocks from the Ecole Militaire metro stop. If you are traveling for business however, it's not as good. The room is super small and does not have a desk area to get work done. I also found the internet connection to be flaky in the evenings.

Yelp
Great, location, staff, croissants. Near rue cler. You get what you pay for in Paris.

Yelp
My wife loved this hotel! We stayed here for a few nights in September. The hotel staff were very friendly. We were surprised to find out a few of the staff spoke Spanish. The room itself was small but modern and clean. The cost was a bit pricey but we wanted the location. The location of the hotel is in the Rue Clair District. At night we could hear the people from the restaurant down stairs (this may be bothersome if your a light sleeper). The noise didn't bother us at all. The hotel was also close enough for us to walk to many sites. We really enjoyed the continental breakfast. We preferred this to the local eateries.

Yelp
4.5 stars I REALLY liked this hotel. The location is great -- right off the Rue Cler in the 7th arrondissement. A Christophe Roussel chocolate and macaroon shop in the lobby adds a nice touch. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was a little small, but the bathroom was very nice and the bed very comfortable, and the price was very reasonable for the city/location. Hope to return.

Thierry d.

Yelp
Everything an American tourist wants and needs in found right here. Even plugs with 110v. outlets and USB ports right at your bed side. Easy access to metro, Eiffel Tower, and all of Paris. A Franprix grocery store is right across the narrow street. Restaurants abound and are all worth stopping at: Le Roussillon, Cafe Central, La Fontaine Jade (Thai with the best shrimp wonton soup ever), Le Bosquet, etc. So many places for your daily indulgence are within 5 minutes from the hotel. Can't wait to be back.

Yelpah Y.

Yelp
Great place to stay in Paris for the price. The hotel is in a wonderful location that gets quiet at night. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We got in very early and they let us check in within an hour of arriving. This was amazing because we came in on a red eye and were exhausted. The only thing I will say, but might be standard for Paris hotels, is that the room was extremely small for two people not sharing a bed and the showers were tricky to use. Other than those two things, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Yelp
Hotel overall was very pleasant with a great location. Plenty of restaurants in the area and 15 minutes walk to the tower. Americans like us want to stay in touch with the U.S. news happening via TV but we could not. Upon arrival, no power to the TV. Desk clerk spent 45 minutes to fix and we had it working. No CNN or CNBC although they were listed. We reported this right away along with the mini bar fridge that was not working. No change on both when we returned from a long day of sightseeing. We stayed 6 nights and not a lick of English on the channels or a place to cool down a beer or a bottler of wine. A reported 4 star hotel at this price should make sure the basics are all working. Breakfast buffet was great, every thing fresh in a nice breakfast room.

Kevin D.

Yelp
Excellent hotel. Great location. It was especially nice to walk out of hotel and be on Rue Cler market street. Rooms were not too small and very clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful. I never did figure out what the recorded voice in the elevator was saying.

Yelp
Great location in the 7th, tucked in on a quaint little street with shops, markets, restaurants- all the convenience of having these things nearby, yet very quiet at night with a very safe neighborhood feel. Overall, it is a nice hotel with good customer service. Rooms are small but modern and clean with a nice bathroom (shower only) and had a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower from our window. We also had a mini fridge which was nice for holding cheese from the fromage shop down the street and water we bought at the supermarket (MUCH cheaper to buy a pack of evian at the grocery store than to take the waters from the fridge). The bed, however, was not very comfortable and the air was so dry that combined with the jetlag, I found getting to sleep to be a little bit of an issue. They have a small business center, so we were able to use their computers every night before bed to keep in touch with family and let them know about the things we did that day and there was never a line to use them - that was a wonderful convenience. They also offer breakfast - though a little expensive for what it is, it is still pretty decent and we took advantage of this on most mornings - the chocolate croissants with raspberry jam were unbelievable. If you have time to venture out, I have no doubt you would find a better breakfast for less $ elsewhere. The macarons from their little chocolate shop are outstanding! The car service they offer to and from the airport is expensive but for us it was worth it. Very comfortable ride with nice drivers.

Yelp
Had a great stay here. First off the hotel is modern and that gives a good clean feel. The rooms are a little snug, but that's enough if you're there for a short stay. The location is wonderful, right by the Eiffel Tower and other good sightseeing places around. The staff were great, provided me with all my requests like an international adapter, or recommendations on places to eat. Would certainly stay here again!

Yelp
Hard to not give it 5 stars, but there was maybe one or two minor things about it that I did not like. Overall, a wonderful hotel. small rooms, but to be expected in paris. very well kept, clean, friendly staff. The price is a little more than I like, but the location, rooms, and amenities make it worth it. the only gripe i had, was the showers are so tiny. it is a little hard to maneuver around. also it has one open end with no curtain so water can splash and make a puddle on the tile. lay a towel down, problem solved. beds were very comfortable. WiFi worked great the whole time we were there with no re-logging in every time I sign on. Absolutely hate when the WiFi times out after 5 minutes. there is a wonderful chocolate bar incorporated into the lobby. very good chocolate and macaroons. Location, there are lots of very nice markets, bakery's, cheese shops, restaurants close by. Metro stop is a 2 minute walk away. 10 min walk to the Eiffel tower. would very much stay here again.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at Hotel du Cadran for 10 nights while in Paris. Walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and not too far from the subway. This was our first time to Paris, but we really loved the hotel. In our first room, the shower was faulty because the head kept sliding down--and once we reported this to the front desk, they QUICKLY moved us to another room (which was an upgrade compared to the type of room that we'd reserved). The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. ( Yes, small--but thats to be expected in Paris) I would DEFINITELY stay there again, and recommend it to others looking for a clean, friendly environment for a reasonable price.

Yelp
Nice hotel internet was intermittent at best. Breakfast was nice rooms clean I might stay here again if I buy a wireless card for France but if I need internet for business again I'll find another hotel

Manuel A.

Yelp
All I can say is that the hotel is A-Ok. Everything that was said is right on. The staff went out of their way to help and answer any question you had. The breakfast at the quaint reception room was great. If it was not included in the room price, you paid $13 euros per person, but you ate as much as you wanted. At the 2 corner Cafe's which were good, you paid almost $10 euros for coffee, juice, pastry. If you asked for more you got charged. It a nice area, closed to many sights and Metro. The Seine and Eiffel tower is walking distance. Many restaurants to try and they're good. You can buy your bread/baguette, cheese, meats from the shops around you and have your own picnic at the Eiffel Tower. Laundromat around the corner and dry cleaner's across the street. Manny Castro Valley, Ca.

Yelp
Expensive, but you're feet will be happy you did. You'll be walking constantly, so making good use of this central location is a huge plus. 78 steps to rue Cler and all it's charms makes the expense worth it. Eiffel Tower? 12 minutes away. Seine? 6 minutes. Champs de Elysees? A 15-20 minute walk. Louvre? 15 minutes on city bus, 69. l'ecole militare is just down the block. The service at the hotel was superb. Every question answered promptly, and if you reserve in advance, you get regular emails from staff asking if you have questions. Even better, when you do have a question, they will answer it quickly. You'd think the night scene in the wildly hopping rue Cler district would make for noisy sleep. Nope. Quiet as can be. We hung out with some folks who were staying in the il de cite area (tres, tres chic!) who cabbed to rue Cler twice in a week, just to hang out. Tiny rooms are well appointed, and comfortable.
google avatar

Kelly K.

Yelp
This hotel is in the perfect location. The street market really gives you the feeling that you're getting a real Parisian experience. The Eiffel Tower is less than a 10 minute walk. The park in front of the tower is less than 2 blocks away. There was an issue with the wifi in the room, but that was fixed and the woman at the front desk made sure to let my husband know as soon as it was fixed. The rooms were very clean and cleaned on a daily basis. The room was pretty small, as expected, but they have set it up for great use of space. We were given an extra little treat when we shared that we were visiting for our honeymoon. We will definitely be back to Paris and stay at this hotel again!

T S.

Yelp
The room is quite small with little room for your luggage and some of the staff is helpful but the other half is not. There is no doir on the shower so the bathroom floor gets pretty wet even with a towel down. But there is nothing like the location lication location. If you can deal with everything else the location is fabulous
google avatar

Amanda B.

Yelp
Many reviews of this hotel say that you should expect small rooms in Paris. I have stayed in two other hotels in Paris before, and this was by far the smallest. I agree with another reviewer who said the shower is too small. The scariest part is that the shelf for soap and shampoo is not within reach, so you have to step on the slippery tile to get it. I think this hotel is probably great for tiny people who are minimalists and don't have much luggage, but it really was not good for us. The cleaning staff started the other rooms very early, and we could hear everything they were saying. They didn't try to stay quiet at all. There were several positives, however, First, the staff is very friendly. It is in a good location with restaurants and shops nearby. I'm not sure if breakfast is included with every stay, but it was included with ours, and it was fantastic. If you plan to have breakfast at an outdoor cafe to get the full Parisian experience, this would not help you. But in the (very warm) basement, they served scrambled eggs, coffee, teas, several juices, jams, cheeses, toast, and an area to boil an egg to your liking. There were also different types of yogurt and pastries. This is why I gave it four stars instead of three.

Denis B.

Yelp
the best quality / price ratio we have been able to find in Paris - the surrounding streets are full of divine restaurants .

Barb D.

Yelp
I was a solo female traveler and I picked this hotel because they had a 24 hour front desk, business center, car service to and from the airport, free wifi, AC, and mini fridge in room. I arrived too early to check in so I went to visit Napoleon's Tomb and eat breakfast. I went back around noon and they had my room ready. It was nice to have the luggage room to store my suitcase while I waited and they even had a restroom so I could freshen up after my long flight. The front desk was always nice no matter what time of day or night. The room was perfect. It was quiet and roomy (small but functional and comfortable). I had a room by the elevator and never heard any noise. Some travel sites mention the shower leaks. Yes, water gets on the floor because there is no door. Put a towel on the floor and you will be fine. It won't ruin your stay. I loved my stay here and would recommend this hotel to anyone. I will go back in the future.
