Hôtel du Louvre (Paris, Île-de-France) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Sometimes a hotelier can profit from offering an unconventional perspective on a city, an angle that emphasizes its setting’s subtler charms. Needless to say, that’s not the approach taken by Hyatt when it comes to the Hôtel du Louvre. It’s a member of the Unbound Collection, a sub-brand devoted to ultra-high-end, ultra-unique experiences, and it’s fair to say a top-flight luxury hotel just across the street from what’s arguably the world’s most famous museum is capable of delivering on both of those promises." - Tablet Hotels

The 8 Best Hotels in Paris (Updated 2025)

"Located literally across the street from the Louvre, I appreciate this recently renovated five-star Hyatt for its stately, grand lobby with marble floors and high ceilings. The hotel has a traditional brasserie that serves an excellent breakfast and a chic cocktail lounge under a beautiful glass roof (with live jazz twice a week). Rooms are stylish, bright, and well insulated, and all have a mini fridge, minibar, flatscreen TV, electric kettle, Nespresso machine, and desk; bathrooms are huge and come with luxury bath products, robes, and slippers—an excellent higher-end choice in the heart of the city." - Matthew Kepnes

Great hotel in a top location if your goal is to see the main tourist sights in Paris. I was only in town for 2 days to see a friend and walk around on my way home from a business trip, so for that purpose, it was perfect. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, very well maintained hotel. Nice fitness center for a European hotel as well. Also, one of the rare Euro hotels that does not restrict their HVAC, so you can make the room as cool or warm as you’d like. I feel like this is a must when you’re paying significant money for a room and so many put restrictions on it even still. Had one minor problem with my first room and the property did everything to make it right. Oh, and the Globalist in-room breakfast rivals the best I’ve had as a Hyatt member.

Great hotel with a perfect location — highly recommended! The staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was the highlight of our stay, especially the chef’s signature pastel. The staff deserve special recognition: Alexis at the front desk, Edouard, the guest experience manager, and the waiters and hosts at the Brasserie du Louvre.

We had an amazing stay here for our honeymoon! This property is beautiful, in a great location, and has phenomenal service. Edouard one of the managers was the most friendly staff member I can remember at any property, and put balloons, wine and a dessert in our room to help celebrate. The hotel breakfast is top notch, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat

We had the best stay at the hotel. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean. The rooms are impeccably maintained and comfortable. The food is outstanding. I highly recommend eating in the restaurant, especially breakfast. The bar is fantastic and if you don’t see what you want on the menu, ask if they can make it for you. The bartender made me a wonderful chocolate martini for a nightcap one night when I was craving one. All in all I cannot wait to come back.

Location was perfect, we chose it for the location and it held up to expectations. We were blown away by how well the staff cared for us, and they were able to accommodate our every request, upgraded our room for free, and several other reasons. Everyone was so kind and so lovely. And we could walk to most things which was great! They also provided free water bottles (both in our room and upon request at the front desk) which was a huge plus / not the norm for a European hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Hôtel du Louvre. The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of Paris, with the Louvre and beautiful cafés just steps away. Our room was elegant, spotless, and very comfortable, with excellent air conditioning and all the little touches you’d expect from a 5-star hotel. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help with recommendations or directions. The atmosphere throughout the hotel feels refined yet welcoming. A perfect base for exploring Paris – we’ll definitely stay again!

Hotel Du Louvre is an excellent hotel. Close proximity to all the sites. The staff is wonderful and took care of our every needs. The rooms are very spacious and the bathroom was very comfortable. The breakfast at the hotel was plentiful with many selections. The concierge, Anthony Andreo, was so kind and helped us make our dinner reservations and gave us information about the sites. Beautiful hotel and very clean.

What an amazing hotel property! Had the pleasure to stay at the du Lourve for our first visit in Paris. First, the service is amazing. Edouard and his team were very courteous and helpful jn providing suggestions and answering our questions during our stay and planned trips. The restaurant on-site served delicious breakfast and while we didnt get chance to eat there for lunch or dinner, based on their breakfast, we can imagine it being delicious as well. The hotel location is very strategic, just outside the Lourve and next to metro station connecting several different lines. We were able to get in and out of the property conveniently from all over the city. Overall wonderful experience, and looking forward to our next stay there when we are back in the city.
