Emily in Paris season 5 locations: the sun-kissed new locations behind the Netflix smash

Built in 1855 and counted among Paris’s original luxury hotels, this property is noted for having hosted figures like Sigmund Freud and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and for being the only hotel that directly overlooks the Louvre Museum. Its refined setting is humorously undercut when a new marketing tactic involving rubbing a hamburger on a hand to attract a client’s dog somehow works, adding a playful twist to its grand image. - Jessica Phillips

Hôtel du Louvre (Paris, Île-de-France) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Sometimes a hotelier can profit from offering an unconventional perspective on a city, an angle that emphasizes its setting’s subtler charms. Needless to say, that’s not the approach taken by Hyatt when it comes to the Hôtel du Louvre. It’s a member of the Unbound Collection, a sub-brand devoted to ultra-high-end, ultra-unique experiences, and it’s fair to say a top-flight luxury hotel just across the street from what’s arguably the world’s most famous museum is capable of delivering on both of those promises." - Tablet Hotels

The 8 Best Hotels in Paris (Updated 2025)

"Located literally across the street from the Louvre, I appreciate this recently renovated five-star Hyatt for its stately, grand lobby with marble floors and high ceilings. The hotel has a traditional brasserie that serves an excellent breakfast and a chic cocktail lounge under a beautiful glass roof (with live jazz twice a week). Rooms are stylish, bright, and well insulated, and all have a mini fridge, minibar, flatscreen TV, electric kettle, Nespresso machine, and desk; bathrooms are huge and come with luxury bath products, robes, and slippers—an excellent higher-end choice in the heart of the city." - Matthew Kepnes

Our stay at Hôtel du Louvre was truly outstanding from start to finish. The front desk team was absolutely amazing and genuinely made our stay extra special. In particular, one of the gentlemen at the front desk (I wish I remembered his name) went above and beyond with his kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail, the kind of service that stays with you long after your trip ends. Our room was beautiful, impeccably maintained, and the views were absolutely stunning waking up to Paris from that vantage point felt magical. The location is unbeatable, perfectly situated for exploring the city, with so many iconic sights just steps away. This hotel strikes the perfect balance between elegance, comfort, and truly warm hospitality. We felt welcomed, taken care of, and genuinely valued as guests. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend Hôtel du Louvre to anyone visiting Paris. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Brilliant overall. We typically stay at the Bulgari or Four Seasons but those hotels required a 2-night min. From check in to check out, everyone was helpful and thoughtful. A well-designed experience at every moment. Beds were easily one of the most comfortable, the rooms spacious and updated and breakfast was perfection. So many surprise and delights (e.g., room service dropped off treats and champagne for New Year's Eve). Would definitely return. Great location too as long as you don't mind a more populated area of Paris.

My recent stay at the Hôtel du Louvre was truly exceptional. The location could not be more ideal—nestled in the very heart of Paris, just steps away from the Louvre and the Opéra, it allows you to enjoy the city’s elegance with absolute ease. The staff deserve special commendation. From the moment of arrival, I felt genuinely welcomed. Their attitude was consistently gracious, attentive, and professional, offering assistance with a natural warmth that made every interaction a pleasure. The hotel’s cleanliness is impeccable. Rooms and public areas are maintained with great care, reflecting a clear dedication to comfort and detail. It contributed immensely to the sense of calm and refinement throughout the property. The dining experience was equally outstanding. Breakfast was varied and of excellent quality, and the bar provided a truly enjoyable ambiance—elegant yet relaxed. In every respect—location, staff, service, atmosphere—Hôtel du Louvre surpassed expectations. I look forward to returning and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a refined and memorable stay in Paris..

This hotel is one of the best stays I’ve ever had. I’ve been to Paris 3 times and this was the most perfect and magical stay I’ve had. Me and my parents both stayed and my parents were celebrating their anniversary. They made my parents feel so special and surprised them with a treat in their room. The staff was so friendly. The service was first class! The bed was so comfortable and the location was incredible. This hotel is worth it. You should definitely book it! I will be returning as soon as I can!!

I was ambivalent and debated going to Park Hyatt instead. However, I am glad with my choice of staying here. The rooms were spacious and lovely. They were incredibly clean. What stands apart is the location to the metro and walkability to nearly everything in the city. The cocktail bar was amazing. I love love loved the sparkling water on tap in the lobby. What also stood apart was the service and smiles from everyone there. Edouard (experience manager) particularly went above and beyond to get us our room early on the first day when we were jet lagged and just needed to decompress. We were greeted by the most beautiful arrangement of flowers. I will be sure to come here each time I visit Paris. 10/10!

Staff friendly and accommodating to all requests. Clean room with upscale bathroom and comfortable mattress, and there was a wide variety of choices at the breakfast buffet. Location conducive to several attractions including the Louvre right next door. We walked the neighborhood enjoying local cafes and shops. Colette square across from hotel hosts local dancers each evening if weather permits. Lots to like about this stay. Thank you all .

All the positive reviews are justified for this hotel. Right from check in to check out we had an amazing experience. We traveled with our 3 year old and the hotel staff was so accommodating! Without asking they provided baby skincare products and slippers. Staff was always friendly answering everything with a smile. Location is unbeatable.

Fantastic stay. Location is great: convenient of course to the Louvre but also excellent shopping and dining within walking distance. Rooms are spacious and beautiful. Heated mirror in the restroom and the HVAC was good. Comfortable bed. Service was friendly - excellent welcome by Floridita (I may have her name wrong) but she gave us a tour of the important areas of the hotel when we arrived and consistently greeted us every day when she saw us. Maid service and turn down services were also friendly as were the bellmen. Overall can’t wait to return.
