"After a walk around the headland, where the pretty beaches are too many to count, head to the little port. At the restaurant, tuck into the catch of the day, turbot fillet, oysters from Sterec, or the lovely sole meunière, which the chef, a pro who has worked under chefs Michel Trama and Stéphane Carrade, complements with a bowl of new potatoes, fine green asparagus, snow peas and confit red pepper. Pleasantly informal atmosphere." - Michelin Inspector

A nice surprise. The business is primarily the restaurant, but the rooms above are refurbished to a high level given the price bracket, with lovely views out over the beach and bay. Definitely recommend the breakfast which was a big step above the standard cheese & croissant. You cannot reserve dinner with the room and have to phone to book in advance as it is very popular. We were fortunate that they were able to make space for us, and so glad as the food was lovely. Very good service. Only problem here is parking (which is not the fault of the hotel). People circle the village all evening to dive into the few spaces as soon as they are vacated (although it is free to park once you do get a space).

Food is delicious at this upscale restaurant. We came her for a special night and had a great time. Unfortunately the service doesn't match the good food; un-atentive waiters who took time to come by. Despite this, because the food is so good, I give 5 starts.

Didn't stay but ate in the restaurant. Never again! The service was poor; the staff unfriendly; the food was tasteless and I raided the fridge when I got home as I was hungry after my meal. I have eaten in Locquirec on many occasions in different restaurants and the food and service have always been second to none. I will stick with those restaurants in the future so that I don't have to return here.

I cycled from Paris to Roscoff over 16 days and the Hotel du Port at Locquirec was by far the best quality accommodation that I stayed in. Fantastic room overlooking the beach and wider bay area. Everything in the room was of a high quality, including a really comfortable bed. Excellent evening meal was included in my rate, which I hadn’t fully understood, as was breakfast the next morning, which meant what seemed like a pricier option at the outset was in fact good value, especially considering the views. Lovely, small village with food and drink places behind the beach. Great, attentive staff. Good WiFi. Recommended.

I spent more than one week there. The owner are very friendly and always ready to help. |The rooms are very nice (just opened last June) and very fashion. |The restaurant is very good as well. |The price are affordable and the view to the harbour is wonderful. |Definitely a place to stay and to eat in Locquirec.

The rooms in this small hotel have been recently refurbished and are now of a high quality. Our room (number 2) was bright and spotlessly clean with large windows overlooking the harbour and a small balcony with 2 chairs and a table. The new en-suite shower room was also very good. The best feature of this hotel is its superb location right in the heart of Locquirec and from your room you have a grandstand view over the beach and harbour. There are no general public spaces in the hotel but there is a bar with an outside terrace and a really good restaurant serving excellent fish dishes. Only slight criticism would be the lack of storage space in the room which might get annoying for stays longer than a few nights.
