El Pescador looks like a large modern home. It is out of the main town looking out over the countryside so is quiet and relaxing. The surrounding area seems to have been set out for new developments but nothing has been built yet. We had a warm welcome from the staff and our room was clean and warm with everything needed. The bed must have been super king but wonderfully comfortable. We ate at the hotel on the two evening we were there and the food was delicious. Portions are enormous. The breakfasts are bought to your table. A jug of freshly squeezed orange juice, a plate of ham and cheese or a freshly made omelette, a plate of toasted bread, croissants and cakes etc etc All fresh. A great place to explore the area and enjoy a relaxing stay with good food

Stayed here 2 nights and had a wonderful time. Hotel is spotless and our bedroom was beautiful. We decided to eat both nights at the hotel as the food was absolutely fantastic. Portions are big and the fish soup is the best I've ever had and the same goes for the octopus. ||Dessert, we had rice pudding, it was beautiful with a caramelised topping, so tasty.||Staff very nice, although nobody can speak english, but you get by.||I would love to come back here again if only for the food. Don't bother going to eat down in the port of Cudillero.

This is a well built and nicely decorated hotel. The room was very clean with good fixtures and furnishings. The location is above town and quite a distance uphill from the train station if you are walking. Taxi and bus were not available at the train station. Walking down into town is enjoyable but it was so steep we took a taxi back. The hotel is very nice though, and the restaurant is good.

We are very satisfied with our stay at the hotel ! The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was a little bit on the small size, but clean and nicely decorated. Every detail, from curtains and bedclothes to towels were so beautiful ! And we really recommend the restaurant ! They had the best Paella we have ever tasted, and much more..... - All in all : A nice place !

Set quite a way from the town this is a quite hotel with an excellent restaurant. |The staff were very friendly and as the hotel lacks a lift they carried out cases to our very large room|The bathroom was old fashioned in a nice way. Our bed was a comfortable king and the only noise was in the mornings from the gulls. |There is a pleasant easy walk down a path to the town but I would recommend taking a taxi back. Around 4€. |All in all a great stay.

Not quite sure about the building`s architecture but this is a very good hotel||and the staff/owners were absolutely charming.||Relatively good access for such a small fishing town and with an easy walk down to the harbour||(tough on the way up though).||Rooms were spotless and with a very distinctive style but very comfortable. Food was excellent but||portions very large so better watch what you choose.

We stopped here for two nights.||The hotel decoration might not be to everybodies taste but our room was very comfortable, the place was spotless and all the staff were very welcoming and friendly.||The quality that defines El Pescador is the food. We ate two nights in the restauant and in a region that is notable for excellent food and very large portions, this place was a good as anywhere that we ate in a 3 week holiday in Asturias, Leon and Cantabria . Beautiful, very fresh seafood and a wonderful Asturian Bean Stew. The breakfast were equally brilliant.||An exciting walk down to the town, the walk back up is a bit of a grunt. ||We look forward to revisiting

I can't put into words this memories of opening a window in the morning and seeing the sea under the sun and the sound of waves like breaking on my hands.. Wonderful. Perfect place in winter when you pay 40€ for a room by the sea. You need to book in advanced this room cause it's the best one but the others are clean and a bit narrow. Great place to have a walk around this full of life street and you enjoy the sailing atmosphere that cudillero has. Try the sidra (asturian cider) with the fresh served fish you will find anywhere. This place is a hidden pearl in the asturian coast.
