Emiliano

"On a street famous for its luxury shops and boutiques, Emiliano serves as a culinary reference point. Savour international cuisine with a spotlight on Italy in the classically furnished restaurant, with its large windows and vertical garden views. Petiscos are served at your table and the remainder of the dishes are presented à la carte. They also offer interesting set menus and are renowned for their brunches, served at the weekend and on public holidays." - Michelin Inspector

Emiliano Sao Paulo (Sao Paulo, Brazil) 3 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"We can’t possibly say enough about this hotel, except possibly that if you’re a design and architecture junkie, and you’re not left speechless, then we don’t know you. Even from the street, Emiliano is an imposing presence, a narrow glass tower, gleaming amidst the high-rises of the fashionable Jardins district, walking distance from São Paulo’s best shops, nightclubs and restaurants. And the lobby is no less impressive, ten meters high, dressed in light tones and custom-designed furniture." - Tablet Hotels

The hotel was very nice. Service was excellent. Room was comfortable and clean. Location was very good. Walkable to shopping and restaurants. Only a couple of things kept me from giving five stars: 1) room temperature was very warm. Air conditioner turned off randomly during the night. 2) we reserved a car for 7am to drive us to the airport for a 10:40am flight. Front desk called at 9:30pm the night before our departure and advised we would need to leave the hotel at 5am due to construction. We arrived to the airport at 5:40am which was a five hour wait at the airport. We believe another party reserved the car which caused the situation. There was no reason for us to leave the hotel 5 hours and 40 minutes ahead of our flight. That was disappointing.

This was a fantastic experience. The front desk kindly facilitated an early check in , and all staff were so friendly and welcoming despite me only staying one night. The staff were really just outstanding . I last stayed at the Fasano and this place is so much more genuinely welcoming! Congratulations!! The massage in the spa was also great and the room very comfortable and spacious. Only three rooms per floor. I loved the neighbourhood too with many wonderful restaurants. The only thing that I could fault are the lifts are very small and dated. Ha!

This is one of the most famous hotels in São Paulo for good reason. I am difficult to please but my one night here was a true luxury experience. The hotel is PRISTINE. From the moment your taxi arrives, you’re greeted by several valets ready to open the door for you and offer a welcome drink. Check in was extremely fast (which is typically the case for Brazilian hotels). There are so many extra perks and services this hotel provides which makes it special- nightly snacks with turn down service and complementary custom havaiana sandals. Bedding and pillows are perfect. Bathroom, amazing, full marble and full of nice goodies and amenities. My flight was not until 11 PM so they gave me a generous late check out and I booked a massage at their spa after checking out. I highly recommend doing this if you have time to kill. The massage was FANTASTIC and it was followed by or complementary snacks and tea service. I don’t know why I haven’t stayed at this hotel before but it is my definite 1st choice for now on. Quality and service is comparable to the Four Seasons.

Unbelievable stay. All the staff was amazing and did everything possible to make us feel at home. We stayed with our 1 year old and they made sure that we had everything possible to make us feel safe and comfortable. Rooms are beautiful, food is excellent, location couldn’t be better. But the service and love we received from all the staff really made the difference. Cant wait to come back to Sao Paulo!

I recently stayed at the Emiliano Hotel, and it was unquestionably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. After a grueling 13‑hour flight, I politely requested an early check‑in. Instead of showing any flexibility or empathy, the staff curtly informed me, “Check‑in is at 3 p.m. and not before.” This absolute lack of accommodation for a weary traveler was extremely disappointing. The hotel’s decor is unmistakably dated. The woodwork conjures images of a 1970s boat, while the carpet, furniture, and overall design scream of neglect and obsolescence. The bathroom fared no better; it looked poorly maintained, and the ancient toilet only emphasized the overall decay. I was also perplexed by the choice between a Japanese toilet—which includes a wash function—and a bidet, a redundancy I simply could not understand. Adding insult to injury, the entire hotel was very noisy, making any hope for relaxation a distant dream. My room overlooked the spa garden, so whenever I opened the window, I was met with the prying eyes of passersby. Room service was equally disheartening: the food was mediocre at best, and despite repeating my order four times, they still managed to mess it up. There wasn’t even a simple apology or any effort to correct their mistake. To make matters worse, when my assistant inquired about placing his card on file for incidentals—a standard practice at most hotels—he received no response to his email. Later, when I asked if I could extend my check‑out time to 1 p.m. (a courtesy typically granted by upscale hotels, and notably, the first time I heard that check‑out was at noon), I was bluntly told that I had to vacate the room by 12 noon because the hotel was “full,” despite the website showing many available rooms. The best they could offer was an extra 15 minutes, an utterly inadequate gesture of courtesy. I was truly taken aback by the neglect and poor customer service at the Emiliano Hotel. Even a one‑star establishment would likely treat its guests with far more respect and care. With its antiquated, dirty, and noisy environment, I strongly advise anyone who is accustomed to higher standards to steer clear of this hotel.

The food was amazing everybody from the doorman all the way front service to the housekeeping was absolutely amazing and this is coming from an ambassador member with Marriot. This should be an example of how hotel should be ran absolutely impeccable. I highly recommend this place. everything was wonderful. Amazing area. Amazing employees amazing rooms amazing food I absolutely have nothing to complain about.

Check in was smooth. Everyone was very kind. Room is well equipped. The bed is very hard. The absolute best 90 minute massage I have ever had was at their spa. I also went to their spa for their 60 minute facial. Which cost as much as their 90 minute massage. The facial consists of a face wash and mask and a very drawn out wiping with horrible smelling sprays sprayed onto your face. There was no adjustment made when I complained to the manager. They do not have professional products a face steamer. Dermabrasion or peels. So essentially my normal face wash routine that I do nightly in my own bathroom costs $110 US dollars to do at this hotel. I also had to call 3 times to have laundry picked up. A complimentary wash was included in my room cost. One of my dresses was ruined and I was not compensated. I can’t wait to come back to Brazil but will definitely choose a better hotel. I will be talking to American Express for recommending this hotel and I urge anyone to not stay there.

We just stayed a night at the Emiliano and must say it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel is located in a great walkable and safe part of Sao Paulo and caters to both business and leisure travelers. The rooms are substantial in size considering the middle of town location. Moreover, their attention to detail and customer service was vastly superior. ||As an example of their attention to detail, we received an email and whatsapp message requesting our shoe sizes a couple of days prior to our arrival – I guess to make sure they had the right size room slippers! And it was a pleasure dealing with them on airport pickups and drop-offs all through whatsapp.||Check-in was a breeze and the spa was excellent. The breakfast at their restaurant was both great with respect to the quality/taste of the food and also their customer service. And our late check-out was even better considering a later in the evening flight. As another great example to their customer service, I was seated in the lobby post check-out with a friend waiting for our car and they offered us both coffee and tea and didn’t even charge us for that! Who does that? ||Only advice is that I would strongly heed the hotel’s recommendations for departure time to the airport – Sao Paulo traffic is intense! |

Yelp
This is one of the top hotels in the world, for sure. It manages to be low key and not Kardashian-like, but chique, understated, extremely high-quality in everything they do, fantastic at breakfast and exquisite for dinner (bravo to the Chef!). It is like going home and they deliver perfection at every stay. From the front door team, to the front desk, restaurant team and room care professionals - these ladies and gentlemen remind me of what well training, professional Brasilians can do! This place is a jewel in São Paulo!
