Stayed here with my wife and we had a fantastic time!
This hotel has so much character. It has only 9 rooms, but the brick walls and wooden beams really do give it the european feel. The waterfall shower was wonderful, the bed came with a good number of pillows, and you have water/coffee in the room. The only negative is you can absolutely hear your neighbors come and go, or travelers passing by on the street below.
The service was absolutely immaculate. 10/10. you need an extra towel, tea, help carrying your bags, no problem at all! We got some nice recommendations for food and activities as well. Also, someone is always manning the desk so if you get locked out or can't find something, you're always in safe hands.
Another perk here is the breakfast. While its not the fanciest or most luxurious, we were provided a small breakfast in bed each morning. A crossaint, or other pastry, some orange juice, cheese, nuts and cranberries and a fruit bar/gronolla. We felt this was a really nice homey touch to the experience as many places offer nothing, or the generic breakfast buffet.
At a room cost of around 265 CAD, I felt this was fairly reasonable. We had a nice bathroom, a couch, a king sized bed, a desk and a TV.
Compared to many of the other hotels we looked at, I'm glad I selected this one. The charm of the building, the wonderful staff, and the peaceful room were worth it. If I come back to Montreal, I'd look forward to staying here again!
