Hotel Eulensteins

This boutique hotel is excellent value, near to the main (Paradies) rail station and within the city centre, nicely refurbished in a plain but comfortable Nordic style and, unusually for hotels nowadays, with room heating that actually works adjustably and soundlessly (under-floor?). Breakfast is nice if fairly standard. The hotel reception is manned only during daytime hours, but access arrangements via an electronic keybox worked fine for me. On balance, nicer than most chain hotels and not too pricey.

Relatively good value for business travelers. The location is great and the facilities are OK. Heating was not sufficient and it was quite cold in the room. Breakfast is OK, but quite basic and with no variety. Cleaning is done by request only and is just basic. The main issue is that almost all the time there is no one at the reception. I booked through an agency and did not receive an entrance code. When I arrived there was no one at the reception and even though I called, they were not able to tell me or send me the code by text or by email. Anyway in some time the owners came to open the hotel and the garage.

With this being our first time in Jena, we didn’t know exactly what to expect. That’s what makes traveling adventurous. Jens met us when we arrived in the evening. He was soooo helpful with guiding us with parking the car. With us having a rental car, I was able to reserve a parking spot in their garage. We were in rooms 51 and 52. For a one person traveler, the room size is perfect. But for a two person room, it is very tight with the luggage. However the hotel is very clean and the breakfast was good.

It is really a nice, small but a very smart hotel with modern lines inside! So smart! The rooms are quite clean and comfortable! The hotel really has a perfect location! You can reach everywhere with small walks in the city center. You can find many restaurants and shops on the hotel's street. It is also very close to bus and tram stations. You may easily find some free parking locations as well around the street. It would be really a nice choice, if you have a short business trip or a short vacation in Jena! *There was a great ambiance in the city center (very close to the hotel) before the Christmas (;

The hotel is recent and pretty nice, I liked the building. Right in the city center and close to a lot of restaurants. The room was big, comfortable and clean. Good wifi.||The breakfast was really good with a lot of choice.

Very good hotel, Just in the city Centre! Very cosy rooms, comfortable beds. Clean, fresh Bathroom. Enjoyable and Tasty Breakfasts!

Nice modern rooms, very quiet due to modern windows. Clean, great location and good breakfast. Very good value.
