Great food. Totally disfunctional idiotic service. How many times can one say sorry? |We got apetizers after 30 mins. At least half of them. Rest took another 30 mins. The menu after 45 minutes. By the time they took our selection, the kitchen was almost closed. From there it only went downhill. Forgot menu selections, same with tables around us. Wrong drinks, no drinks. Non confirmed reservations, people sent away who claimed to have reservations. There were free tables all over the place. Endless waiting for courses. Excuses again. You name it. Sorry sorry sorry all over the place. Forgot the coffee and at the end of the evening the cc payment machine was lost too. Sorry again. ||Location is great. Food is too. Service is one big joke and the main reason not to go again.

I and my husband spent one night at the Faehrhaus with the objective of having a sort, relaxing vacation and the objective was absolutely achieved. The receptionists greeted us warmly and a colleague gave us a tour of the hotel and spa facilities, then leading us the the bar where she offered us a nice glass of sparkling wine as welcome drink. The room was modern, spacious, and with a lovely view on the sea. The bathroom was brand new and I really appreciated the choice of sower gels and body lotions. ||The spa facilities are great: a big swimming pool, several relaxation areas (do not miss the warmed-up bench), four saunas, Jacuzzi, fully equipped gym... what else can one dream of? We did not use the treatment area, but it looked really nice. ||We had dinner in the beautiful dining area in Frisian style and we got a really fairly priced and delicious menu. The staff and chef are very attentive to dietary issues, so feel free to let them know any special food requirement you have. Also do not miss the majestic cake and tea selection in the afternoon as well as the great breakfast in the morning.||The staff cared for us and pampered us from the beginning to the end. In the evening, before going to bed, we got some fresh Madeleines. We could chose the pillow from a long menu and the staff made sure that we could enjoy the spa for the rest of the day after check-out.||What a wonderful experience, it is certainly to be recommended!

If you're looking for a quaint and cozy 5-Star hotel that's luxurious but unpretentious, this is the right place. Easy access to many points of interests is reachable by renting eBikes (best way to get around)! We had an amazing spacious suite, abundant closet space, with direct view onto the Wattenmeer were we watched the light of the full moon reflect and shimmer on the waters in the evening! Very modern rooms with latest amenities too. A special thumbs up was the generousity with bottled water! The SPA/pool area was a great way to relax at the end of the day. We unfortunately did not manage to dine in but did enjoyed the abundant choices offered at the quality breakfast choices! The Staffs were friendly and competent but at the same time reserved which is nice. We would like to express our special thanks to Mr. Zerndt at reception who helped us with our telephone reservations and great dinner and outing recommendations. He demonstrated great service and professionalism. We would definitely recommend Fährhaus Sylt.

We were invited by friends to celebrate a birthday. And what a surprise on all levels. First they provided a glass bowl and some biscuits for the dog! What a nice customer service. The menue was great and we had fish. The food and flavour was outstanding as was the atmosphere. One minor point they translated "Seezunge" with sole.... don't think that's correct. The service was first class.

We already have been guests at the Fährhaus 5 years ago. We looked at alternatives for this year, but after some comparisons we ended up booking Fährhaus again. And we have not been disappointed!||||Top-notch service, wonderful room, so quiet and relaxing. Sleep quality is excellent, as every detail fits: the quality of the bed, the pillows, the room temperature, the perfect noise insulation towards other rooms, no noise from the outside etc. ||||Only area where we have been (slightly) disappointed is the food. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, but we missed a bit the "sparkle" of last time for the half board dinner (which is priced competitively and it's good quality, so we're really complaining at high level).||||All in all a great hotel and experience, even the second time

Fabulous hotel. Excellent service, great amenities. Breakfast on the terrace never to be missed. Good location and easily accessible. Wine selection and food very recommendable. Try one of the suites. Dog friendly too albeit not in all rooms.

I and my husband stayed at Faehrhaus to celebrate my husband`s birthday. I loved everything about the hotel and it was worth every penny spent. The staff was very helpful nad friendly. The food was heavenly delicious, no matter what and where we ate. The room was cosy, well-arranged with everything I needed or even more (we booked a sea-view junior suite). The bed was obscenely comfortable, mini-bar well-stocked, fresh flowers, a welcome bottle of bubbles and a basket of fresh fruit every day. The management took care of some other details, like: two sets of bathrobes of different kind, subtle blinds that one could shut or open lying in bed, a nicely arranged terrace, good quality bathroom amenities, careful turn-in service. ||The hotel location is ideal for those who long for peace and quiet. And the hotel spa. It was wonderful. We had a facial and a full body massge each. We both loved our treatments. Very professional! ||The place is a gem in the hotel world. I had never felt more invited to a place. I`m using the word "invited" on purpose. Of course, we paid for the service received, but the whole stay was like a visit at an old, very generous friend`s house. Thank you!||PS My husband forgot to take his Ipad. He realised that when we arrived at home. His Ipad arrived a few days later.

This is a very special place not just because of its unique location but because people who manage it care for it deeply. Everything is done with such deep care and love that you are pleasantly overwhelmed from day one. This is a perfect stay to get that much needed city break, enjoy great food and finally have that tranquil moment to read a book or meditate.
