"Anchored on Place de la Madeleine in Paris, this hotel translates a storied French gastronomic brand into an intimate luxury stay, emphasizing excellent food and drink alongside décor that riffs on the brand’s signature magenta—making culinary excellence and chic, brand-driven style the core of the experience." - Jess Feldman Jess Feldman Jess Feldman is a special projects editor for Travel + Leisure, where she manages the brand's annual World's Best Awards—a long-standing, reader-based travel awards program. Fauchon Hôtel Paris (Paris, Île-de-France) 12 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"It’s not at all unusual for luxury hotels to enter the restaurant business, or for famous restaurants to add lodging to their offerings. What’s less common, however, is for a gourmet food purveyor like Fauchon — imagine if Dean & DeLuca were Parisian and about a hundred years older — to try its hand at hospitality. Fauchon’s expertise in its primary area necessarily raises expectations for this new venture, and we’re happy to report that they’re met, and then some. Fauchon L’Hôtel is picture-book Paris, occupying a pair of classic mansions in the heart of the 8th, not far from Fauchon’s original location, as well as the Louvre, the Place de la Concorde, and the Jardin des Tuileries." - Tablet Hotels

Review: Fauchon L’Hôtel, Paris - SilverKris

"Housed steps from the original Madeleine delicatessen, this recently opened luxury hotel translates a famed gourmet legacy into a flamboyant five-star stay: 54 spacious rooms feature vibrant furnishings, content tablets and marble bathrooms, while staff arrange bespoke experiences from private gallery visits to river cruises. The property is extremely dog-friendly — guests are greeted with a welcome mocktail while their pets receive a jewel-encrusted water bowl, a matching plush dog bed and toys — and many nearby shops and parks make it easy to explore with a pet. Visually arresting interiors by architect Richard Martin reject minimalist trends in favor of hot pink, black and gold accents, eclectic Art Deco and Art Nouveau pieces, and tempting displays of pastel macarons under glass domes. Dining centers on the Grand Café, where classic French gastronomy is given a modern small-plates treatment (dogs are welcome), and every room boasts a decadent pink-gold “Gourmet Bar” armoire stocked with complimentary Fauchon treats — chocolate truffles, buttery brioche biscuits, jars of foie gras — and the hotel’s signature champagne, making the in-room larder a standout indulgence." - Simon Kurs

A truly wonderful stay! The location couldn’t be better, just steps from the Opéra, Galeries Lafayette, and a pleasant walk to the Louvre. The Fauchon team were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and eager to personalise every detail to our needs. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and our room was the perfect blend of comfort and romance. We loved every moment of our stay and can’t wait to return to experience it all again.

L’Hôtel Fauchon, Paris|This hotel is located next to La Madeleine Church in central Paris steps from Place de la Concorde. We stayed three nights.|We were greeted with enthusiasm by Solène who served us sparkling water, the Fauchon special blend iced tea, and a small plate of meringues. Registration was done in a lounge setting rather than at a desk in the lobby. We felt warmly welcomed and cared for. In addition, the hotel has a consistent contemporary design in fuchsia, black and grey which we immediately found very attractive.|Solène informed us that we were being upgraded to a suite. The rooms were decorated in the contemporary design themes of the hotel but with six traditional “French” double panel glass doors leading to a narrow balcony which extended along two walls of the suite. The large sitting room was luxurious with two fuchsia-coloured couches and two matching chairs and a geometric carpet in Fauchon design colours. There was also an upright “trunk” filled with delicious treats – teas, coffees, several options for drinks (some free, some not), biscuits and crackers with tapenade, blackcurrant jam and other small jars. Meringues, madeleines and other freshly baked goods appeared daily. |The separate bedroom with a very comfortable king-sized bed continued the luxurious design theme together with a dressing area with ample closet and shelf space. The marble bathroom equipped with two sinks and a Japanese electronic toilet completed the picture. |The included breakfasts were exceptional. |When we return to Paris, there is no question where we will stay.|Barbara & Brian Ruttan

I booked Fauchon L’Hôtel rather last minute for a one-night stay in Paris, as I was planning to propose to my girlfriend there. I asked the team for restaurant recommendations, ideally somewhere with a beautiful view for the proposal, and they absolutely delivered. Their suggestions were spot-on, thoughtful, and perfectly aligned with what I had in mind. You can truly rely on them for anything. They know exactly how to make moments special.||From the moment we arrived, everything was handled with such care and genuine warmth. They helped arrange the most wonderful dinner, and the next morning surprised us with breakfast in bed, complete with champagne and flowers, entirely as a complimentary gesture from the hotel. Later that day, while having lunch at the hotel, we were again treated with complimentary coffee, congratulations, and kind words from the staff. They truly celebrated the moment with us and made us feel genuinely cared for.||Beyond the thoughtful gestures, what truly stood out was how sincerely the staff cared. It never felt transactional. They were genuinely invested in making our experience unforgettable. And they absolutely succeeded. They made our stay richer and more memorable than I could have ever imagined.||We stayed in the Chic Suite, which was spacious, elegant, and, for this location and price level in Paris, an incredible find. The hotel’s location itself is also perfect, central, stylish, and close to everything.||To the entire Fauchon team, thank you so much for creating such a magical experience for us. Every glowing review about your service and attention to detail is completely true. You’ve earned every one of those five stars, and then some.

By far one of the top boutique hotels my wife and I have stayed at, not only in France, but in all of Europe! We chose Fauchon based on the excellent reviews, central location, and advertised amenities (restaurant onsite, gym, spacious rooms), and we were not disappointed in the slightest.|What stood out most was the exceptional staff. Always smiling and ready to help with anything we needed—from restaurant recommendations and reservations to booking tours and suggesting shopping destinations—they were there for us every step of the way. True 5-star service! I want to give a special shout-out to our favorite Fauchon concierges, Mohammad and Celia, who went above and beyond to make our stay magical. Merci!|Also worth mentioning: the restaurant had a great vibe, and the food and service were fantastic.|I highly recommend Fauchon. We will no doubt return

The staff were exceptionally attentive and welcoming — nothing was too much trouble. Amex FHR benefits were honoured without any issues. This really saved guests from unnecessary embarrassment.||The location could not be more convenient — within walking distance from major department stores, tourist attractions and restaurants, yet still peaceful and relaxing. It was the ideal base for exploring Paris.||Last but not least, the daily complimentary Fauchon snacks gave such a nice touch.

Outstanding service and spacious, clean, upscale rooms. The food and amenities were also major highlights. My husband and I have visited Paris many times and this was by far the best service and most comfortable accommodations we’ve experienced. At 6'6", my husband requires a larger bed and room, and they were more than able to accommodate his needs which we also appreciated.

It's hard to capture everything that's great about Fauchon because there's so much. We loved our room, the restaurant, the help we got from the staff (and their general warmth and good cheer). Shadi is one of the best managers we've ever encountered. A fantastic perk is the cabinet of Fauchon treats in every room that's refreshed daily. We felt very much at home here.

I just had an incredible stay at this exceptional hotel, located perfectly near all the must-visit attractions and top-notch restaurants. The staff are nothing short of outstanding; their attentive and friendly service guarantees that every need is met. The comfortable and well-appointed rooms added to the overall excellence of the experience. I recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a truly memorable getaway.

Yelp
Had a lovely two night stay at the Fauchon Hotel last week. The good: Rooms are stunning and absolutely spotless. Location is excellent. Staff is unbelievably kind and friendly. Complimentary snacks, coffee, and macaroons are a really nice touch. I had an excellent massage which was quite affordable at EUR140 for an hour. The not-so-good: Rooms are really small so be prepared for that. This hotel is expensive...I paid EUR 560/night for a standard room. That's a lot considering I paid a similar amount for the Peninsula Paris a few years ago. The hotel restaurant is terrible and expensive and the staff were extremely unfriendly. Overall I'd definitely stay at the Fauchon Hotel again...definitely would try to get a better rate next time though.

Yelp
My husband and I just returned home from a week's stay in Paris at the Fauchon Hotel. It was such a wonderful stay from beginning to end! I planned far in advance and did my research online. Fauchon had the criteria we were looking for: Good ratings, central location, fitness center and within our budget. We arrived the day before Christmas and we were greeted warmly by the staff. In lieu of the traditional check in process, we were invited to sit in the lounge, offered Champagne and delicious macaroons! We booked a deluxe room and we stayed in room 1104. It was absolutely fantastic! The room was well appointed, had all the amenities we needed. Large safe, coffee maker, electric kettle, and lots of yummy treats from Fauchon. The room itself was not large but we had a LONG private balcony. I loved the HUGE bathroom with a large bathtub, double sinks, and a make up table. They offered a Dyson dryer and Toto toilet, and heated floors! The water pressure was awesome! The hotel is centrally located in the Madeline area, about 7 minutes walk to the high end boutiques of St Honore, and same to Printemps and Galerie Lafayette Haussman. Among all the things we loved about our hotel, the thing that stood out the most was the staff's hospitality and service. Each staff member went out of their way to make sure we felt like special guests and ensure our needs were met. Everything from locating a coffee shop that is open on Christmas Day, arranging dinner reservations and even calling to confirm the operating hours of the Detax office in CDG. When we came and went, we were always greeted with a Bonjour, or a Bon Soir, but it was genuine. Every employee was happy to see us. Every greeting was authentic, causing us to feel at home, despite being so far away from ours. Each day our room was cleaned and linens were changed. Their strict Covid protocol made us feel safe and worry free. The Hotel Manager, Jerome, graciously treated us to champagne on our last evening, which really nicely wrapped up our wonderful stay in Paris. Thank you to the entire staff at Fauchon.

Yelp
Anyone familiar with the high end goodies at Fauchon will know in advance how great a boutique hotel like Fauchon would be! It is a true delight! The rooms are stylish and modern, and finished beautifully. Most importantly, the staff is amazing. Everyone is always happy to answer questions. Did I mention there are macarons everywhere :)

Yelp
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel!! I had a very poor experience in Paris years ago and had no interest in returning. However, I was on a business trip nearby and my husband wanted to see Paris. I reluctantly agreed, and I searched for the most accommodating hotel/staff I could find to ensure my trip was not as awful as my last one. I did a lot to research and decided to go with Hotel Fauchon because of their good reviews. I was totally blown away by how nice everyone was and how they really wanted to go above and beyond to make our trip perfect. The hotel room itself it spectacular with the highest attention to detail. I travel a lot so I'm no stranger to hotel rooms, and it's like whoever designed this hotel took every luxury and convenience they could think of and put it into one room! I only stayed for two nights but would LOVE to come back for a longer stay in the near future!

Yelp
Had a wonderful 4 night stay in a standard room. I am typically more of a 4 star property regular but felt like a splurge. The lobby area is beautiful and the welcome was warm. The room was large with beautiful decor. Service was outstanding, the few times I ran into room staff, they were very professional and seemed so happy. The famed mini bar was great, who doesn't love snacks. The restaurant is good, enjoyed both breakfast and lunch and thought it was delicious and reasonably priced. Great front desk service.

Yelp
This hotel is absolutely magnificent! The service is the best we've had at any 5 star hotel. The location is perfect! I will stay here on every trip to Paris!

Yelp
This a new hotel close to Place de Madeleine, an area well-known for shopping and good food. We stayed there for 4 days during our trip to Paris and it was well worth the experience. The place has a modern contemporary design, free WiFi and several USB ports next to the power outlet for charging your cellphones. Beside the underfloor heating, the room has a digital thermometer control system with A/C you can adjust accordingly to your liking. The bathroom also has a sophisticated Japanese style toilet with automatic functions. Best of all is the quality of the bed, very comfortable and relaxing. If you stay there, please give the restaurant downstairs a try, the Chef is really talented and accommodates all your wishes like if you are vegetarian or vegan. Oh last but not least, Fauchon Hotel has superb customer service, all the people there were at least bilingual and very friendly.

Yelp
This new hôtel from the iconic Fauchon is an incredible experience from beginning to end. Greeted by freshly, handmade macarons (yes, Fauchon hand makes them while the famous La Durée makes theirs by machine) and by the exceptional Food & Beverage Director, Tim Abenhaim, you are immersed into the world of Fauchon and live it throughout your stay. The staff is genuinely kind and helpful, the Fauchon product perks are beyond one's imagination (armoire/mini-bar is refilled daily with Fauchon product gifts) and the location is perfect for getting around Paris. This is the type of place you would return to visit after visit. Truly no need to stay elsewhere. Make sure to have the Chef's dinner in your room one evening. It's not the usual room-service but rather each course is brought up separately and at your own pace. It is like having a meal at the restaurant with your own waitstaff but in the privacy of your room. And the meal! It is a wow! Back to Tim Abenhaim...Tim is someone you should ask to meet. He made the experience at Fauchon Hotel over the top extraordinary and his kindness truly knows no bounds. He has worked in Los Angeles, London, Israel and that Fauchon was able to get him as F&B director is a real coup. He works non-stop so you are sure to see him at the hotel.
