Fauchon L'Hôtel Paris

My husband and I had the most memorable stay at Fauchon L'Hotel Paris last week. This was our first trip to Paris and thanks to the staff and lovely accommodations at Fauchon L'Hotel Paris it was a trip we will never forget. From the moment we arrived to the day we left the staff's attentiveness, kindness and assistance was superb. We were in Paris to celebrate my husband's birthday and when we arrived we were given a room upgrade which was the best surprise and one we were most grateful for. Our room was comfortable, quiet, spacious and the gourmet bar inside our suite was the icing on the cake. We enjoyed the comforts of bathrobes, slippers and our choice of pillows for a comfortable stay away from home. Breakfast was one of the most delicious hotel breakfasts we have ever had. The location was conveniently located in a quieter part of town, yet within walking distance of many points of interest, with the metro just a few steps away. The day we left I forgot a bag in the hotel and didn't realize it until we were 15 minutes away in our taxi. I called the hotel, they located my bag and helped arrange a delivery to me at the airport. Truly, above and beyond service and care. We cannot wait to stay at Fauchon L'Hotel when we return to Paris. We will not have been happier or more comfortable anywhere else.

Five-star price. One-star service. I asked for a sofa bed at check-in (12:30 pm). Nothing happened until 9:30 pm. When we returned to the room, housekeeping was still unfolding the bed, and we were forced to wait another 15 minutes in the lobby — with a child who was already well past bedtime. When I raised this, customer service simply said their turndown service runs from 6–10 pm, that it was “within timeframe,” and did not offer a single apology. That response is outrageous. Since when does a hotel get to decide a guest’s sleep time? If you want a hotel that decides when you are allowed to sleep, go somewhere else. If you are travelling with children or expect basic requests to be handled reasonably and with empathy, do not stay here. This is not luxury service — it’s rigid, indifferent, and completely unacceptable for a so-called five-star hotel.

Five-star prices. One-star service. I stayed at this hotel a few days ago and checked into my room at 12:30 pm, at which time I requested a sofa bed to be prepared. When we returned to the room at 9:30 pm, a housekeeping staff member was inside the room unfolding the sofa bed. Since when is turndown service carried out this late in the evening? By that time, my son was already well past his bedtime, and we were forced to wait 20 minutes in the lobby for the bed to be set up. To make matters worse, during this so-called “turndown service,” the staff member did not bother to replenish any room amenities at all. This completely defeated the purpose of turndown service and showed a clear lack of care and professionalism. We raised this issue with the front desk at checkout, yet no apology was offered. This level of service is unacceptable for a hotel charging five-star rates. Save your money and stay elsewhere—this hotel does not deliver an experience worthy of its price or reputation.

If I could give 6/5, I would. This is our second stay, and amazingly, it surpassed our extraordinary experience last time. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were home with family, caring for every detail. Our room was a good size, very comfortable and the Fauchon snacks delicious! Breakfast was also a culinary experience as was room service. Love the Dyson hair dryer too! Attention to detail! Fantastic location within walking distance to everything. It’s simply sublime and truly stands out among Paris palaces and boutique hotels, and we’ve tried all the usual 5 star places. Special thanks to Mohamed, Celia, Karim and Imad. Keep it up!

From the minute I was welcomed until leaving, the staff was very helpful. |Solene welcomed me with macarons and hot chocolate, showed me the hotel facilities and my room. Very welcoming. |Luric was also amazing front desk staff. He always greeted me and assisted with my many requests. |The room was superb. |Large bathroom and balcony. Bathroom heated floor - amazing especially on a cold morning. |Now go this girl, the PINK was fabulous. Love it. |I would definitely go back to Fauchon.

Fauchon l'Hotel is an absolute treasure in the heart of Paris. Right by the beautiful Eglise de la Madeleine and only a block from Place de la Concorde, you will struggle to find a more centrally-located luxury hotel. My Deluxe room had plenty of space, little balconies allowed me to step out and take the skyline of Paris, including the top of the Eiffel Tower. All modern amenities, beautiful bathroom, and a totally awesome mini-bar with Fauchon-branded snacks that you can help yourself to and they are replenished everyday. I've never seen this before and it is a real treat! Breakfast downstairs was fantastic. It's a la carte service and feels very decadent. Unfortunately, a busy schedule kept me from exploring the hotel's other amenities, but I hope to make it back soon!

We just spent time at Fauchon with our kids and we had a spectacular visit. The entire team at the Hotel was phenomenal with every detail. Prior to our arrival their response time to questions and inquiries was unparalleled. We had an awesome visit and the friendliness of the team made the stay even better. We will be back and we highly recommend the property!

The hotel’s location is absolutely ideal – perfectly central, safe, and within easy reach of all major attractions, shopping areas, and iconic Parisian landmarks, making it effortless to explore the city.||Our room was absolutely stunning, with a magical Eiffel Tower view that elevated the entire stay. Every detail was thoughtfully curated – from the soft, luxurious bedding and incredibly comfortable bed, to the beautifully scented amenities, the gourmet bar, and all the delightful treats the hotel offers.||Breakfast was an absolute highlight – rich, indulgent, beautifully presented, and without a doubt one of the best breakfasts we have ever experienced.||But above all, the true heart of Fauchon Paris is its staff. Every single person is warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making your stay exceptional. Had a lovely two night stay at the Fauchon Hotel last week. The good: Rooms are stunning and absolutely spotless. Location is excellent. Staff is unbelievably kind and friendly. Complimentary snacks, coffee, and macaroons are a really nice touch. I had an excellent massage which was quite affordable at EUR140 for an hour. The not-so-good: Rooms are really small so be prepared for that. This hotel is expensive...I paid EUR 560/night for a standard room. That's a lot considering I paid a similar amount for the Peninsula Paris a few years ago. The hotel restaurant is terrible and expensive and the staff were extremely unfriendly. Overall I'd definitely stay at the Fauchon Hotel again...definitely would try to get a better rate next time though.

My husband and I just returned home from a week's stay in Paris at the Fauchon Hotel. It was such a wonderful stay from beginning to end! I planned far in advance and did my research online. Fauchon had the criteria we were looking for: Good ratings, central location, fitness center and within our budget. We arrived the day before Christmas and we were greeted warmly by the staff. In lieu of the traditional check in process, we were invited to sit in the lounge, offered Champagne and delicious macaroons! We booked a deluxe room and we stayed in room 1104. It was absolutely fantastic! The room was well appointed, had all the amenities we needed. Large safe, coffee maker, electric kettle, and lots of yummy treats from Fauchon. The room itself was not large but we had a LONG private balcony. I loved the HUGE bathroom with a large bathtub, double sinks, and a make up table. They offered a Dyson dryer and Toto toilet, and heated floors! The water pressure was awesome! The hotel is centrally located in the Madeline area, about 7 minutes walk to the high end boutiques of St Honore, and same to Printemps and Galerie Lafayette Haussman. Among all the things we loved about our hotel, the thing that stood out the most was the staff's hospitality and service. Each staff member went out of their way to make sure we felt like special guests and ensure our needs were met. Everything from locating a coffee shop that is open on Christmas Day, arranging dinner reservations and even calling to confirm the operating hours of the Detax office in CDG. When we came and went, we were always greeted with a Bonjour, or a Bon Soir, but it was genuine. Every employee was happy to see us. Every greeting was authentic, causing us to feel at home, despite being so far away from ours. Each day our room was cleaned and linens were changed. Their strict Covid protocol made us feel safe and worry free. The Hotel Manager, Jerome, graciously treated us to champagne on our last evening, which really nicely wrapped up our wonderful stay in Paris. Thank you to the entire staff at Fauchon.

Anyone familiar with the high end goodies at Fauchon will know in advance how great a boutique hotel like Fauchon would be! It is a true delight! The rooms are stylish and modern, and finished beautifully. Most importantly, the staff is amazing. Everyone is always happy to answer questions. Did I mention there are macarons everywhere :)

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel!! I had a very poor experience in Paris years ago and had no interest in returning. However, I was on a business trip nearby and my husband wanted to see Paris. I reluctantly agreed, and I searched for the most accommodating hotel/staff I could find to ensure my trip was not as awful as my last one. I did a lot to research and decided to go with Hotel Fauchon because of their good reviews. I was totally blown away by how nice everyone was and how they really wanted to go above and beyond to make our trip perfect. The hotel room itself it spectacular with the highest attention to detail. I travel a lot so I'm no stranger to hotel rooms, and it's like whoever designed this hotel took every luxury and convenience they could think of and put it into one room! I only stayed for two nights but would LOVE to come back for a longer stay in the near future!

Had a wonderful 4 night stay in a standard room. I am typically more of a 4 star property regular but felt like a splurge. The lobby area is beautiful and the welcome was warm. The room was large with beautiful decor. Service was outstanding, the few times I ran into room staff, they were very professional and seemed so happy. The famed mini bar was great, who doesn't love snacks. The restaurant is good, enjoyed both breakfast and lunch and thought it was delicious and reasonably priced. Great front desk service.

This hotel is absolutely magnificent! The service is the best we've had at any 5 star hotel. The location is perfect! I will stay here on every trip to Paris!

This a new hotel close to Place de Madeleine, an area well-known for shopping and good food. We stayed there for 4 days during our trip to Paris and it was well worth the experience. The place has a modern contemporary design, free WiFi and several USB ports next to the power outlet for charging your cellphones. Beside the underfloor heating, the room has a digital thermometer control system with A/C you can adjust accordingly to your liking. The bathroom also has a sophisticated Japanese style toilet with automatic functions. Best of all is the quality of the bed, very comfortable and relaxing. If you stay there, please give the restaurant downstairs a try, the Chef is really talented and accommodates all your wishes like if you are vegetarian or vegan. Oh last but not least, Fauchon Hotel has superb customer service, all the people there were at least bilingual and very friendly.

This new hôtel from the iconic Fauchon is an incredible experience from beginning to end. Greeted by freshly, handmade macarons (yes, Fauchon hand makes them while the famous La Durée makes theirs by machine) and by the exceptional Food & Beverage Director, Tim Abenhaim, you are immersed into the world of Fauchon and live it throughout your stay. The staff is genuinely kind and helpful, the Fauchon product perks are beyond one's imagination (armoire/mini-bar is refilled daily with Fauchon product gifts) and the location is perfect for getting around Paris. This is the type of place you would return to visit after visit. Truly no need to stay elsewhere. Make sure to have the Chef's dinner in your room one evening. It's not the usual room-service but rather each course is brought up separately and at your own pace. It is like having a meal at the restaurant with your own waitstaff but in the privacy of your room. And the meal! It is a wow! Back to Tim Abenhaim...Tim is someone you should ask to meet. He made the experience at Fauchon Hotel over the top extraordinary and his kindness truly knows no bounds. He has worked in Los Angeles, London, Israel and that Fauchon was able to get him as F&B director is a real coup. He works non-stop so you are sure to see him at the hotel.
