We stayed at FLIANA multiple times since 2018 and have kept coming back although the hotel does not necessarily make that easy. Last year we stayed for a week in January and requested an offer for a 4 night stay in a family room in February, which was denied (we had to book 7 days). So we stayed elsewhere….||This year we again stayed for a week in January and requested an offer for early April for 3 nights, which was denied again (we had to stay 4 days). Funnily enough, I could book it via booking.com a couple of weeks later, which I did. While there in January, I shared this with the hotel, who suggested to cancel my booking reservation and book directly with the hotel as we both know this is far more interesting for the hotel. So far so good. I even ended up adding an extra person to the booking a week before arrival. ||Knowing that the hotel is now making more money than if I had kept my original booking, I was silly enough to think that they may appreciate me as a returning customer. Not…. Ok, an upgrade to the empty “family” room next to us was maybe too much to expect, a late check out seemed realistic, or at least a drink at the bar or something, …. Nothing.||And this review should not come as a surprise to the hotel. I always share my feedback directly and the lady at reception would pass my comments to the management (a day before our departure when I learned the late check out was declined). I never heard back.... ||This is a great place to stay but it would be so much better if they would appreciate returning customers.
