Hotel Freisinger Hof

We will not be back. The hotel is old and not very nicely decorated. Carpet was dirty, sink didn’t drain, the room is SWELTERING hot and stinks and the curtains has holes and don’t do anything to block out the sun in the slightest. Enjoy being woken up by housekeeping on a Saturday & Sunday morning at 8 AM because of the noise in the hallway and your neighbours slamming the doors. The walls are truly paper thin. No mini fridge in the room either but they do charge for room temperature water 😂 Beds were comfortable enough as well but the indents of past guests made them laughable for a 4star hotel. Staff was unfriendly and useless (asked me to make my own reservation in the restaurant, and check in was done on a tablet.) so we’re not really sure what reception was for? How they got 4 stars and good reviews, I will never understand. This place is a 3 star hotel at most. Food is alright. And the waiter was nice enough. But the host was also rude. Side note: had they asked me how my stay was at check out, I would have mentioned all of the above, but they didn’t give me an opportunity. Again, staff were rude and don’t care.

Good stay in a traditional, bavarian Hotel with Restaurant. Room was Standard with coffee making facilities. Bathing robes. Bed comfy. Just the pitch roofed area was a challenge to get out of bed not to hit the head there for one persons side. The little Spa is ok. Restaurant and food good. Recommendable.

Stopped here for a nice business lunch. They have a lovely beer garden with massive trees. Daily selection of lunch menus as well as choosing from a la carte. I had the Backhendl which was very nice. Might be also a nice spot for dinner and sleeping.

I had a reservation from July 4th to 6th for 2 rooms. Booking reservation number: 4547977619. It was a prepaid, non-refundable booking. Due to the air traffic controllers' strike in France on July 3rd and 4th, all my flights were cancelled. This situation was completely beyond my control. I contacted the hotel to cancel my reservation one day before my scheduled arrival — they had enough time to resell the rooms. The hotel refused any kind of goodwill gesture, not even a voucher. Even Booking.com was surprised by their lack of understanding. I will keep posting negative reviews on all social media and booking platforms until I get some kind of refund. This lack of understanding from the hotel is unacceptable

Beautiful hotel in a nice quiet location overlooking the English Garden. Check in was easily accomplished in English and they had packages waiting for us that I didn't even know were sent to me. A bus line runs right in front of the hotel with stops very close by in both directions. The hotel wasn't decorated specifically for Christmas but it still added to the Christmas feel of our trip.

I had one of the best salmons in my life. The crew is very friendly. It's a cosy restaurant with a warm welcoming atmosphere. You won't regret to spend your night with your family over here. Thank you Freisinger Hof!

Great hotel , lovely staff , breakfast very nice and the restaurant is amazing!|We had a great stay , loved our garden facing , downstairs room . |The only problem for us was a the lack of AC . It was very hot and there were no screens on the window/door .. at night it was not a good idea to leave the window open because of mosquitoes. I fear if in the near future nothing happens about this problem , I would not stay here again in summer . I feel really sorry to say this as I lived the place , I just couldn’t sleep .

The restaurant has excellent Austrian cuisine. Large portions. Excellent service.
