Hôtel Gallia

Nice French-style authentic hotel in a house with a lot of charm. The rooms are little, but very cute and clean. The owners are so welcoming and run an excellent gourmet restaurant. The breakfasts are also gourmet with best cheese and charcuterie, very recommendable. We’ve been there many times and it is with no doubt our place to stay in Aix-les-Bains

Comfortable well designed room with friendly reception. Great location for exploring the town. Breakfast is a bit pricey but good quality...personally would have preferred a buffet.

We stayed here for three nights amid heat wave having booked at very short notice. It didn’t have AC but there was a fan. The rooms (we switched, so tried two) were spotless and provided comfortable accommodation. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful with our requests. We didn’t have dinner at the Hotel but clearly it was popular with other guests. Breakfast was superb. You expect good bread/ croissants in France but they were sublime. Recommended.

We stayed in the hotel and ate in the restaurant. The food is excellent - French cuisine at it's best and very good value. The hotel rooms vary - the standard rooms are small, even by European standards. We stayed in one of the large rooms which was very comfortable. There is a lift but only one and very small, so avoid a higher floor. We stayed in September and it was fairly warm, not hot, but we still required the fan on at night. No AC unfortunately. The hotel is up the hill from the town, close to the spa. An easy walk down to the town but a tiring climb back up. There is a parking lot but it is in the next street, down the hill a little and around the corner. We needed it as the street parking was always full. We found the staff to give very good service.

Great customer service, so helpful and eager to please. A hotel with charm. The staff run the hotel like a family. Have a very nice garden and restaurant. Nice view from our room. Only little pullback is missing the air conditioning.

What a lovely hotel, very welcoming and kind owners/staff. We arrived and accidentally scuffed one of the front tyres while parking, creating a snag. The proprietor immediately phoned a garage so that we were reassured that there was no safety problem. And on top of that, allowed us to park in their own garage, because there was no other space left (we had left it too late). That's what I call service and making your guests feel welcome. And the room, whole hotel and breakfast were absolutely fine too! With a great view over Aix-les-bains to boot!

Lovely looking hotel in a beautiful part of Aix-les-Bains. Plan on staying there sometime.
