Hotel Gardenia

Hotel Gardenia is off on its own so I was a little worried I might not be picking an ideal spot, but as soon as I drove up I realized it was perfect. The hotel grounds are so well-kept with flowers spilling off the balcony and hedges surrounding the property. The hotel is extremely well maintained and blends the older antique aesthetic with modern touches. The doors and hallways look older, but they use new locks and energy-conscious appliances. I couldn’t tell if they had air conditioning but I found the hotel to be considerably cooler than the outdoor temperatures. Breakfast was fantastic. They had sweets, savory items, and a real espresso machine for coffee. Oh, and as an American I was also appreciative of the drip coffee ☺️

Easy drive the motorway the next day. Facilities are basic, but rooms are spacious and clean with big showers. Hotel is very dated. Needs to be refurbished. English spoken. After a long drive, having to go out to find something to eat is annoying. Breakfast was good value for money.

Good experience overall, breakfast is good, staff are very friendly and helpful, has a decent little gym with some weights and a treadmill. Location is picturesque as there’s not a lot of buildings around it. Good sleep for me

Great location, nice staff, good cooking. What a view in direction of valley Aosta. Just the bed matrass and pillow was not to my liking- too stiff and hard

We have stayed here several times on business. The rooms are first class, spacious and comfortable. The views from the balcony of the snow topped mountains are breathtaking. |It is very peaceful and relaxing.|We stayed for 3 nights and ate each night in the hotel. The menu is very varied and delicious.|The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They are a pleasure!
