My husband and I stayed here the night before boarding our wedding cruise. Osvaldo greeted us warmly and, when we asked to stow our luggage because we were 5 hours early for check-in, he informed us that our room was ready and we could take our luggage right on up and -- get this -- come back down and enjoy the complimentary breakfast. We certainly didn't expect to enjoy breakfast two mornings when staying only one night! What a sweet gesture. And the breakfast is *good* too. Beyond the usual continental breakfast setup, you can also order a sandwich or croissant or some tasty little quiche bites. All accompanied by endless Keurig. We loved settling into the swanky digs. The decor is sassy and edgy, all while providing top-notch facilities and a super comfortable bed. Also, because 31 others were joining us on the cruise, we'd had wedding cruise T-shirts printed and shipped to the hotel in advance of our arrival. The way Joey cared for that shipment, and presented it to us after we got settled in, was above and beyond. I know they were in a corrugated shipping box, but in my memory Joey presented them on a silver platter. That's the kind of impression he made when we had the pleasure of meeting him. The rooms and facilities are fun, smart, kitschy, clean, and well cared-for. But honestly the bright star of Hotel Gaythering is the staff. We can't wait to return!

Let me tell you!! I had an awesome time staying at Gaythering. I can't wait to share the news with my friends to let them know when they come to Miami to choose to stay at the Gathering. The guy who works at the desk with the glasses is super nice and friendly. You made me feel welcome. In addition to that, your establishment is so clean and well-kept. I will be back.

Friendliest staff all around. David at front desk was a stand out. Hard working, super friendly, excellent guest services. |This place has a super fun vibe. I’m so glad I stayed here. |The room was big. And even while the bar is open the property is pretty quiet. Really fun signage etc. |But all the staff are just so helpful. They really made my stay wonderful. |Great shower! |And the sauna is really fun signage etc IYKYK

We came for a night's stay. The staff was very welcoming and pleasant. We came down for bingo, and it was an absolute ball. The host of Bingo was amazing. We felt very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was really good. All and all, a perfect stay, location, and people

Google
A friendly boutique hotel with so much charm. Location was PERFECT for checking out South Beach too, very walkable on Lincoln Road. The nightly events like bingo, trivia, and karaoke are fun and engaging, I definitely recommend them. Locals from the surrounding area hang out at the bar which sets a chill vibe. Also the drinks and rooms prices are hard to beat for Miami. I’ll be back soon!! Thank you Gaythering😍

Google
My only complaint is that the rooms are a little dark. Beyond that, the spa is great. The hospitality and staff are top notch. The bed was super comfortable. Everyone (guests AND staff) have been so friendly. It has been a WONDERFUL first time gay hotel experience. Highly recommend. #Gaythering @Gaythering #buzzybooth

Google
Nice, clean and friendly staff. No pool so I can’t give it 5 stars but it was a nice place to try and visit! The sauna was nice..I found an African Prince…from NYC. U too can find your spice depending on what u want.

Yelp
Beautifully decorated rooms and friendly staff made this an enjoyable visit. I was in town for work and had the opportunity to visit this fine establishment. The raucous karaoke downstairs in the bar certainly provided some entertainment. I'll absolutely be back next time I'm in town.

Yelp
Incredibly clean and friendly service. I've stayed twice and would happily stay again. Within walking distance of a bunch of Miami Beach Must Dos, and they've got bikes if you're trying to go a bit further. The bar downstairs has nightly events, and it's always easy to make a new friend or two.

Ricardo P.

Yelp
I've stayed at Hotel Gaythering twice and both times were unforgettable. The rooms are very clean, the sheets and pillows are comfortable, and the ambience is phenomenal. They offer free bikes to ride around south beach, free beach towels, beach umbrellas, ice... they really have everything. Gaythering also has the best gay sauna in Miami right downstairs, and hotel guests have free access to it! Oh! I almost forgot to mention the gay bar with drag shows, games and karaoke! The staff is so accommodating and welcoming! They make me feel at home! Special thanks to Dupaul for being so awesome! Did I mention they have a pancake machine? Gaythering is the best option for gay men in Miami. Just book your reservation already!

Yelp
5-star location, 4-star service, 3-star ambience. We sent a couple of pals here on their third attempt to stay in our guest room for free...this is based on their experience. The location is almost perfect in a couple of ways. It's at the far western end of Lincoln Road, close enough to walk to most of the fun parts of South Beach, but far enough away to retreat from the craziness. Our friends also added that it is easy to find, even if you've had one too many on a night out. The room and decor was terrific for them. Service here was generally friendly when we got them checked into the place. I was a little nervous though...the check-in area seemed oppressively sexualized, with both the staffers and the hotel guests leering and making over-the-top comments. As an aside, one of our pals is strikingly good-looking; he sort of channels an older Ricky Martin but with bigger pecs, so is a bit of a lightning rod. The questionable service aspect led right into the highly questionable ambience. Now I'm no nun, and it takes a lot to shock me. The advertising for Gaythering is not subtle: naked and nearly naked guys appear in almost every print or electronic ad. I'm guessing non-gay (or at least non-gay-friendly) folks wouldn't stay here with the strategic Y in the name, but who knows? Our friends said it was almost impossible to walk in or out the front door without some sort of strange experience. There's a sauna onsite which gets pretty racy, but the problem is that the sexualized behavior isn't limited to the spa/sauna, but carries over to the rest of the place. It's great if that's what you want. Our friends generally commented that it was like sleeping in a sex club, and that made it a lot less relaxing than it could have been to stay there.

Yelp
Welcoming with Fun Vibes! We stayed one night in a "Fun King" in mid-January 2022. Upon arriving a bit early, we were able to leave bags with the hotel before heading out to enjoy South Beach. Check-in was easy later in the day, and the room itself was spacious and comfortable, outfitted with both standard amenities and assorted fun time accoutrement. (Only recommendation would be to add an iron/ironing board in room!) It was a tad loud overnight, but the energy and fun vibes of the stay outrank leisurely sleep at this particular specialty hotel. With respect to the property overall, the place is clean, well kept and welcoming! We found bar service to be quick. The sauna provided great, entertaining recreation. The Sunday Fun Day activities were fun to watch. Breakfast service was a nice bonus. The staff are accommodating professionals who work to create a positive experience for property guests. Part of what we most love about Hotel Gaythering, and what most motivates our assured return, is the spirit of camaraderie and openness that greets all guests.

Servet Y.

Yelp
What an absolute treat this hotel is. Let's start with the room; we had the large king and it was incredibly spacious, fun and comfortable. The king size bed has a firm mattress on it. The room was exceptionally clean had everything one could need and expect. It does have a kitchen and that also was very large. Every little detail was clearly well thought out and designed for a gay couple or singles. My favorite part was the shower where the water pressure was super high and got hot right away. The design of it is so sexy too. We didn't get to use the sauna since we stayed there the covid times but the bar was incredible. Had a blast at the karaoke night. The staff was very friendly and helpful too. I don't know where else I would want to stay next time I am in south beach.

Yelp
I have visited the Hotel bar many, many times through the years and I always had a great time and referred my friends, who also loved it! Only recently, I've noticed a situation that made me uncomfortable, however, I decided to wait instead of writing a review. Something happened this past Saturday that pushed me to write this review. I understand that the Pandemic has caused for many businesses to struggle, but that should not impact the customers. I have noticed how the bartenders mix the drinks but the amount of alcohol they pour, is quite little, to the point that you can't taste it sometimes. I particularly don't like very strong drinks, as I don't like to get drunk with just a couple of vodka sodas; however, they should pour the typical 1.5 to 2 ounces per drink, or use a simple bar jigger would do the trick. This has happened on numerous times and if I have to pay $15 for a drink, as a matter of respect, it should be a real drink, not just soda water. The other incident that happened on Saturday was, with one of the bartenders. In the evening there were two gentlemen working the bar, one shorter with no shirt, and a taller one. When my husband ordered the second round of vodka sodas to the taller guy, we received vodka tonics instead. My husband is very shy and didn't feel comfortable asking the bartender for a replacement, so I approached him and mentioned that he had order soda, not tonic. At that point the bartender could have simply said "I understood he said tonic" but instead he argued that my husband had ordered tonic. He didn't make the situation easier by engaging in a stupid discussion; why would we want to return a drink we ordered, unless it was the wrong one? In the end, I said "you know, you missed the point, the customer is always right". While he ended giving me the correct drink, he spoiled my night; I was respectful and friendly when I approached him, but he couldn't admit that he didn't hear, perhaps the music was too loud, but arguing with a regular patron was not the answer. We ended leaving the bar after the incident without even drinking the cocktail. I loved the place and with time I'm sure I'll be back.

Yelp
the most disgusting place always empty. bugs in my bed. sauna never cleaned. very rude and lazy staff. drinks are over priced and watered down. the place is a total waste and sad. i thought Miami had a good gay culture and scene. Would give zero stars as our vacation was ruined. Do Not stay here. Beware!

Renee V.

Yelp
The place is great! Rooms are super clean we were here last year and ANGEL was really a angel super sweet staff so we came back this time KEITH was amazing too! Will be staying everytime we come to Miami..

Daniel S.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at this hotel and we truly enjoyed it. The sauna and hot tub are warm and relaxing and a place to come to when you are tired. When I left, I also left behind my Driver's License. These folks were so honest and kind to ship it to my home in California. I highly recommend this hotel and its staff for anyone coming to South Beach. As a gay man, the vibe and food provided was great. Will stay here again when I return to Miami Beach! Thanks for all you do for the LGBTQ community.

Petro D.

Yelp
I've been to SoBe many times and this was the first time I heard about Gaythering, Loved it! I had an absolute blast! Room was nice and spacey and the bed comfy. The whole place was impeccable! Cleanliness and fresh place! Will definitely be staying here from now on. Why would I stay anywhere else than where I feel at home with family and friends. Everyone was sweethearts! Thank you so much!

Christopher T.

Yelp
This place was phenomenal!!! I highly recommend this for any LGBT men looking for an inclusive and friendly environment to relax close to South Beach and all that Miami has to offer. The grounds are modern and chic. Staff is incredibly friendly and made it feel like a home and the grounds are peppered with HILARIOUS signs and gay puns (the elevator buttons are labeled 'top' 'bottom' and 'verse'. I was on the verse floor LOL!!) This is an adults only hotel and while they do allow women to stay, the hotel is definitely designed with men in mind. The saunas for example are men only. I stayed in the cubicle hostel portion of the hotel. It's great. Expect noises because you're in an open room but you have your own private cubicle made of plywood. It sounds cheap but the vibe is actually super cool. Every time I come to Miami, I'm staying here. I've never felt more at home at a hotel than I did here.

Yelp
This review is delayed by several months. I wanted to take my time writing it because the hotel and the staff made our stay incredible. Due to a family emergency, I looked online for a room in Miami Beach the day before arriving. My brother and wife and I were headed down last minute to visit my father in the hospital. My brother is tall so I wanted to find at least a queen bed for him at a reasonable price. When this showed King beds (double Kings in our case) it was a no brainer. Truth be told, I didn't even look at pictures. I saw the address, the distance to the hospital, the bed size and booked it! After a long day of travel, we pulled up in one of the short term spots near the entry and I headed to the front desk to check in. I saw the message on the window of the entry door and giggled to myself - nice touch. Stepping into the lobby I was immediately greeted by it's charm. Tasteful, comfortable decor. Great use of space. The desk clerk, Angel, was extremely friendly. Asking what brought us to Miami I answered, mumbling and emotional, that my father was in the hospital up the street. Angel immediately expressed concern and well wishes. He also offered to help with anything we needed - just to ask. I was quite emotional, as we had not been to the hospital to see my Dad yet, and simply said thank you and headed to the room. We settled our items in the room and I loved the space and decor. The decor is minimal but extremely tasteful. Everything about the decor and signage and well, everything, is truly tongue in cheek. My brother, wife and I are quite sarcastic, snarky humored folks so this was a perfect fit for us. Amidst the depth and gravity of the reason for the trip everything about this hotel was perfect. We were physically comfortable in the comfy beds, spacious room, meticulously clean and appointed room... but we were emotionally comfortable too. Many times, amongst my travels, I am concerned about acceptance being a gay woman dressed in characteristically masculine attire. I felt so at ease here. Smiles. Kind greetings. Acceptance. With so much stress and emotional chaos due to my fathers health, stepping back to the hotel after being at the hospital all day was a breath of fresh air and a warm hug. Several nights we stepped down to the bar to grab a drink and take a break. The first night we headed to the bar my brother and I met Robbie, the bartender. Robbie asked what brought us to the bar and we said we were guests of the hotel. He immediately said he knew why we were there, he was sorry and the drinks were on the hotel. What? Why? The owners were told by Angel why were visiting and wanted to make us comfortable. So much emotion. So much kindness. It may sound simple, but a cocktail is not just a cocktail when it comes with a dose of kindness and empathy. Especially when my emotions were at a raging high! A few nights later there was a trivia night downstairs at the bar so we went down for some laughs and fun. I learned Alex, one of the owners, was hosting / DJing the event. During a break, I stepped up to thank him for his kindness - both of he and his staff. He was so kind and receptive and continued with the well wishes and reminders they were available to help with anything. If you need a place to stay - you can stay anywhere. If you want a place to relax and feel genuine acceptance and comfort - you stay here. The messages on the shampoo and conditioner. The first aid kit in the room. The rabbit masks. Those are constant sources of entertainment and hilarity. The people, the rooms, the vibe - those are constant sources of comfort and acceptance. 5 Stars will never be enough to say thank you for being exactly what I needed - even though I didn't know I needed that from a hotel. It was like staying with friends and I will be back to visit my friends again, as soon as possible.

Caleb Will D.

Yelp
I need to post a review because I had the best experience there while visiting Miami. Everyone was pleasant, the spaces were clean, there was a free delicious breakfast and coffee. Overall, this place is perfect if you're traveling alone and want a nice place to relax. I will be staying here again in my next visit.

Yelp
***This is not a review for actually spending the night at the hotel*** My 600th review. A week or so I decided I needed a break from life and wanted to give myself a peaceful spa day. I have heard of this hotel for awhile now; I knew it was nice, it was predominantly gay, and sort of trendy. I knew it also had a spa to it so i figured why not have a relaxing spa day in Miami? So I hauled myself down to the 305 and did just that. The hotel is pretty adorable, but not cutesy adorable. It's kind of like an Ace Hotel for gays. Decorated in lots of red, wood, miss-matched decorations. It has a cool vibe that's welcoming to everyone. They have an area near the bar, which is right near check in, that has tons of board games and books. Just a really chill place. So I go and talk to the guy who I am assuming to be a concierge. Note: if you're a local there is a free membership. While I'm still waiting for my card, they let me into the spa. The cost for the spa is $25 for the day. Inside the spa, again, lots of red, gray's, and wood decor. The first thing I noticed was how clean it was. All the spa equipment was in good working order. They have lockers there for you, water and towels. Serenity now. Best part of it, I was alone. Completely alone. Couldn't have had a better day. From 3:30-4:30 they do daily cleanings so you have to leave for that hour but by that time I was fully relaxed and on my way to lunch. If I find myself wanting a staycation I will definitely stay there overnight but if not, I know where I will be spending my days any time I want a relaxing day in Miami Beach.

Alejandro P.

Yelp
I must say this was an great experience. I really love the hotel and the many touches it has throughout and it's design. Finally a hotel where you can just be you and meet like minded people. The agent who checked me in was super friendly, nice and super cute lol. He explained to me all the services that are available. Felt quite comfortable checking in. They offer shuttle service to the gay beach on 112 as well as the nude gay beach up north if that's what you prefer. The elevator caught my attention it just showed everything in the hotel was going to have those "special" touches. The room itself was quite spacious. The shower amenities very refreshing. The king bed was quite comfortable for a good sleep. I was only there for one night but would totally do a 3 day booking next time in Miami. It's a nice boutique hotel that will definitely get your attention.

Yelp
Pros - big rooms , very clean , friendly staff , well located Cons - I had a reservation for 2 nights but on my first night. A couple things kept me awake . Bar closed at midnight but people still hung out in the sitting area .talking , laughing and listening to music up until 1 am , my room was 3010 , it sounded like they were on my balcony , then a guy who appeared to be under influence of something started running around my floor talking to himself , I called security and she was a pregnant lady who said she couldn't do anything because of her pregnancy and I agreed with her, the guy wasn't violent she was able to talk to him and he eventually left . I checked a day earlier because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to sleep again , I think a fob key should be provided for guests to access the floors and so make sure ppl leave when the bar closes

Jeffrey C.

Yelp
Very Cute!! I love a boutique hotel. Although there were amenities missing .... Pool, gym, lotion, ironing board, I still loved the hotel, decor, ambience, and super friendly staff. The owner even gave my friends and I a tour of the entire hotel. The hotel was so cool I met pple at the bar who didn't stay there but came to check out the happy hour. I didn't get to use the spa/bathhouse, but I hear it was very nice. I'd definitely stay here again.

Hison M.

Yelp
I stayed here Wednesday night. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The bartenders were great. The "crate" I was in was very nice. It was basically the size of an average hotel room. I was expecting smaller. I would definitely stay here and recommend others. When I checked in, I told the guy helping me that if the hold for incidentals was more than $50 that I wanted to use a different card. He tells me yeah we're going to need another card. I ask him how much their hold was to decide which credit card I would use. He tells me there's not a set number but if you only have $50 on your card that won't cover if you break something. Whatever his intentions were by saying that, it came off as condescending. Especially since all your furniture is attached to the room and there is nothing to break .I decided to just ignore it in the moment to avoid getting upset.Everyone else there were great so it turned out fine. But I would suggest not saying something like that to someone. Even if you weren't trying to be condescending it very much was. So I knocked it down a star.

Khamisi G.

Yelp
The only word that comes to mind when I think of the Gaythering is FLAWLESS! From check-in to check-out, everyone was professional and super-patient with us. We were welcomed with opened arms. Even other guests were super pleasant. They have amazing events each night and the location is perfect. We were on the located right above the courtyard; one door away from the elevators. We barely heard any noise. For the price, this is the BEST bang for your buck! If I ever return to Miami, I will ONLY stay at the Hotel Gaythering. PROS: Super friendly, CLEAN rooms, lovely decorations, spacious rooms, located on a quiet street, affordable, activities in the lobby area CONS: The ice machine is on a different floor and the coffee was not replenished each day we stayed there.

Rick M.

Yelp
Every time my husband and I visit Miami, we make sure to book a night or two at Hotel Gäythering. We love it here, although I will admit, it's way different than your average hotel experience. To start, the staff is (usually) spot on. Extremely attentive and downright fun! The bar is great - good specials with a big crowd at night, especially on the weekends. The lobby even has really fun games like "Hungry Hungry Hippos"and you can't get that at the Ritz! The rooms are always clean! We love the decorations and the hilarious signs and pamphlets. This place has a great sense of humor and really does cater to its gay audience! They're also talking about adding a small pool to the front courtyard, which might be cool I guess. The spa has had a major facelift in the last few years. It is Men Only, though, so sometimes it can get a little sketchy if you catch my drift... but if you keep to yourself (unless you're looking for something else) you'll be fine. People are extremely respectful and non-judgmental. The hot tub is aweeeesome and really does feel great after a long day of being out and about. I'm knocking off one star for the thin walls and insane amount of noise on the weekends from the bar. Holy crap is it loud! We're usually out late anyway... but if you have an early morning flight out and you actually need some sleep this might not be ideal. Great experience overall, though. Love it! We both highly recommend it.

David M.

Yelp
If you do your homework, you'll know what to expect if you're thinking about booking here. The website is full of photos of well-known gay porn stars in provocative poses all over the hotel. Really do your homework and you'll know what can really go on in the sauna area. But again, if you really just want a soak, people take the hint, are respectful, and leave you alone. As far as the noise, if you're staying at a hotel geared toward the gay male population, and it has a bar, chances are, it wasn't going to be too quiet a place. I stayed three nights, and one day even had to work virtually, and had no issues. Another plus, it was within walking distance to go rent a kayak, which was awesome. If I ever go back to Miami, I'd stay here again.

TJ S.

Yelp
Great location and value! My husband and I both had a terrific experience here. This hotel was very clean and incredibly well appointed. I was impressed with so much Gaythering had to offer... The bar was busy and fun on Friday night. The shuttle service to haulover park, with beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and cooler to take along was a big selling point. Other amenities I enjoyed were; breakfast, in room sleep-sound player and a small but complete sauna facility and bicycles available for use. But truly the best part of Gaythering was the friendly and cheerful staff. We were met with smiles from every employee (housekeepers, driver, bartenders, front desk, etc) we encountered during our 4 days here. We are looking forward to staying here again.

Brian H.

Yelp
2020 is or 4th annual stay at Hotel Gaythering. We have always enjoyed staying here and exploring Miami, we return to Hotel Gaythering because the staff is always friendly and welcoming and the hotel offers great amenities. In addition, the location is perfect, much calmer with more of a neighborhood feel than Collins or Ocean Blvd. Book direct for the best deal.

Dahl J.

Yelp
I am in love with this hotel! My friends and I( 6 of us) from CA, stayed here for my 35th bday trip and enjoyed every minute of it! The staff is phenomenal, even the lady that checks you in after-hours! We enjoyed the morning breakfast, daily bike rides, game nights, hosted drag race, and a host of the other amenities. We even made some new acquaintances around the world who were visiting as well, we can't wait until our next visit.

Zack R.

Yelp
Bar Only: We didn't stay in the hotel but went to the hotel bar several nights while we were in town and the drinks were delicious, affordable, and the bartenders were friendly and quick. It was a great environment and we felt at home. Definitely check it out! We loved karaoke on Monday night!

Giselle P.

Yelp
A little fun for everyone in a quiet part of town! There's music and board games. It's also just a couple blocks to other cute bars. The bartenders and staff are always on point. The vibe is super welcoming and there's always a drink special.

Anthony V.

Yelp
I stayed in one of the crate rooms and really liked this hotel. It's clean, the clientele is fun, breakfast is good, the sauna is a free space, they provide a shuttle and chairs for the beach, and the decorations are fun. The only reasons for the 4 stars are little things. It's a little far from the beach. Some helpful things would be: doing a mid-day shuttle to the beach, expanding breakfast hours, being slightly more flexible on check-in/check-out and there are some great people at the front desk but some you wish were more helpful. Overall it was a good experience though and I'll be back.

Weidong Y.

Yelp
Lovely hotel and the free bike and chair rental is really helpful for me who went to the beach. Beach is very close if you ride a bike. Also, friendly staff and good breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Erick M.

Yelp
Stayed here for just one night on a Thursday. I would have loved to stay longer. This is not a super fancy hotel. Maybe older apartment building or motel that was renovated. But what a fun, creative, and thoughtful renovation. Well done. Must haves: bed and pillow were super comfy (thank you!) Shower along with shower products were awesome. Ideally located at the quiet end of Lincoln. You can easily walk to restaurants and the beach. We had a great time meeting other guests and locals in the hotel's gay bingo event. Fun, friendly, and highly recommend!

Eric G.

Yelp
I was just there over the weekend I loved it my 3 time staying I am thinking about going back in November for my birthday I so love this place and the staff is really nice as well anytime you come to Miami I suggest you stay here free bike rental rides to the gay beach and you're right by all the clubs right by some really good restaurants it's just a place to stay in Miami I give them 50 stars out of 50

Randy K.

Yelp
Well this is a mixed bag and there wasn't only one thing that was bad nor good. Let's break it down a little Staff: for the most part they have the personalities of a battery operated chickens. Everything seemed forced and the guy who worked the morning shift made you feel depressed. What was bothersome is the locals were met with jubilation and the guests were a bother. Room: It was cool - like a bath house gone industrial. Everything was clean a really cool. Beds were really comfy. We were on the 3rd floor and at night the bar becomes a popular local bar. Right down to the music that you could feel at 12AM. I should have know something was up when they had a white noise machine in the Room. All the need to do is some basic sound proofing with blackout curtains would make all the difference. The SPA: it's cute are really nice. After a long day it was awesome! Personally I would stay some place else and go there for cocktails. Or skip Miami entirely and go to FT. Lauderdale.

1st time staying in South Beach... had higher expectations of Gaythering. Horrible sound insulation... woke up each AM by very loud housekeeping in hallways, and sounds of waste management emptying dumpsters across street. Only 2 nights out of our 4 nights was it relatively quiet at night... very loud music next door, and one evening younger men were going from door to door knocking in middle of night soliciting sex. If looking for a quiter room... 3rd floor is highly recommended... as noise from bar/outdoor tables extremely loud in evening. Location was convenient to shopping, restaurants, and beach... but unfortunately due to the above referenced we wont be staying again.

Yelp
We had the hardest time finding a hotel that didn't have bud bugs, roaches, mold and many other icky extras. For the same price we found this awesome hotel. Clean, comfortable room and everyone is so cool. Happy!

Yelp
Very disappointed at how this property has declined. The staff is VERY rude. I don't recommend booking through a third party site as the staff treats you like dirt. Several times when we asked for something we were told " because you booked through a third party site I can't do anything for you" our room wasn't cleaned until 5pm one day and when we brought it up to the desk person we were told it was because we didn't book directly through the hotel. The staff seems very confrontational when asked everyday questions and makes for a extremely bad experience. We have staid at the property several times over the years and it's clear they have changed management.

Yelp
As Gay as you want it to be. Despite popular assumption, South Beach has not really been a proper "gay" destination for years. The last gay bar on Lincoln road mall shuttered years ago as visitor demographics changed and the pedestrian-only road begin to look more like a generic open air mall than a unique attraction. Over on Collins Ave, a "gay hotel" opened with great fanfare and then quietly reverted to a generic midscale hotel for tourists. For a while, it seemed that there is nothing "gay" left in South Beach other than the drag show at the Palace. However, unbeknownst to me, a new spot has opened on the other side of Lincoln Road, Hotel Gaythering is tucked inside a cul-de-sac on the western end of Lincoln Road, 5 minutes walk away from the tourists on Alton Road and beyond, My fiance and I actually went on our second date there a long time ago, but we returned and stayed in one of the rooms when Hurricane Matthew threatened to blow Broward County down. The room we got was very large, well-equipped with essentials and chicly decorated. The beds are huge and very comfortable. Downstairs the bar was packed, part hurricane-party and part-trivia contest. The drinks are as usual fantastic. The service from check-in to check-out is seamless and excellent. Overall we enjoyed the Gaythering experience, and we will return.

Yelp
Perfect is how I would describe our stay here. We came to Miami for a bachelorette party of about 14 girls. Service was amazing with their awesome staff. Everyone always made sure that we were all taken care of. From recommendations of where to go to getting a cab, they made sure we were set. Our rooms were very cute and clean. LOCATION was everything for us and I am glad we were so conveniently close to everything. Check out their bartenders. They are HOT. esp SJ (straight Jason). Hiyee :)

Yelp
This place is the worst. I have not had a good night's sleep since we've here. If it's this loud at night, they should be honest and put it on the website. It sounds as if someone is being beat in the room above is us. It's really sad i have to give them one star. Russell, a young man who works the front desk is deserving of 5 stars.

Yelp
It's a cute hotel! I love the ambiance there. I like to stay there everytime I'm in Miami. Make sure you call to confirm your reservation. They messed up my booking once and I had to go throu a process to fix it

Yelp
My husband and I wanted to get away for a day so we booked through Hotel Tonight a night at Hotel Gaythering. It was in a great location just at the end of Lincoln Rd Mall. When we arrived we checked in with Mariano ( I am horrible with names so I may be a little off). He was very nice and walked me literally through all the amenities the hotel had to offer. The hotel did not have onsite parking but it was available in a parking deck just two short blocks down toward Lincoln rd. The room was super cool. The bathroom was clean and hip and included body washes in the shower. The rooms overlooked a courtyard where people gathered through the evening. The hotel also has a male only clothing optional sauna and hot tub. If you are down for that then there was plenty of people to socialize with. The hotel as part of its amenities offered beach towels, umbrellas, and chairs. Bicycles to enjoy around town. Shuttles to beaches and such. All included in a $20 fee. Well worth it.

Yelp
Simply the best gay bar in town. Freshly muddled contacts made with care, outstanding service. Gaythering is where you start your night before headed to the nightclub. Great decor, fun and witty. Every night is a different theme. Hotel is pet friendly.

Yelp
It is all about the people! And Alex and Stephan are amazing and they know how to make us happy! I love the concept of the Gaythering hotel and bar, and I love how they always have fun activities all the time :)

Yelp
This was our first time staying at this hotel, it was amazing!!! The staff were great super nice and helpful, it is very clean and will definitely be coming back. We spent 4 days here and wish we could stay longer. The decor was amazing with a Brooklyn hipster feel to it. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cool place to stay. There is also a bath house which was also very clean with sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi. Walking distance to good bars and restaurants and very close to the water. If you are in Miami definitely check it out. Get pretty packed at night.

Yelp
Very friendly service from Daniel and Rome. Daniel made us feel very welcome at reception and went out of his way to accommodate my friend who had A LOT of requests. Was here for a night before and after cruise, the bar was full of cute guys on Sat night, and I enjoyed the spa access too

Yelp
This is not the four seasons but it's cute for the price. Breakfast was a little weak, and the sauna had limited hours, but the staff are really friendly and the vibe is diy eclectic. Old school games in the rooms, snarky signs. Ask for a corner room which will have more light.

Yelp
Booked my stay through their website. I arrived for check in very early and thankfully they were able to accommodate me which I was very grateful for after a long flight from South America. The rooms are clean and tastefully finished. The staff are very friendly also. They provide a shuttle to the beach and also beach towels, umbrellas and beach chairs. My only feedback to them would be to improve the breakfast quality. Several light options were available but quality wasn't the best. I'd definitely be back and would recommend staying here.

Yelp
I will say this was one of the best places I stayed in Miami all of that to say for gay men this is the place to be! The staff were great, food was good, drinks were good, sauna was good I mean it was quite the experience- thank you to Danny, Dupay, The cute bar guy with the piercings oh and the guy with the dreds! We will be back- in fact this will be my go to from here on out. Super close to everything..quiet community. AMAZING STAFF.

Yelp
Great place... if you're a twink. Not geared to bears or gentlemen. Great happy hour and really nice bar staff! Karaoke on Monday's is focused on twinks that yell more than sing.... sometimes on Key! But all in All Good fun.

Yelp
I have had a close friend and some acquaintances who have stayed in this fantastic boutique hotel. They have only good things to say about it! (I also live in the neighborhood and go often to the bar and attend their activities). This is a great gem of a hotel in our community. The owners run a very nice and fun establishment and hire professional and really friendly staff. The design is beautiful, smart and very artistic, especially in the rooms, bar and library. Being on Lincoln Road means you're walking distance from restaurants, shops, entertainment, the water and fun. It is the best setting for a friendly Miami visit.

Yelp
I attended an event at Gaythering during Art Basel week on December 9th. To show my support, I bought two pieces from Artist Jonathan Kent Adams. To my surprise, I received a refund of my payment under the pretense I didn't pick-up the pieces. I am a collector and have my own gallery at the Design District. This is not a regular business procedure but rather a breach of contract. As a matter of fact, most galleries deliver and install your pieces for a fee or complimentary. I still have pieces in some of the galleries that I acquired during Art Basel. While the artist took accountability for the premature action, the manager Alexander Guerra just went in an instantaneous hostile anger outbursts that only proves one more time his lack of professionalism. Watch out!
