"From the outside, there’s little to suggest that Giardino Mountain, in Champfèr, right next to St. Moritz, might count itself a design hotel. The exterior looks almost edible in that pure classic Engadine way, as though it’s a marzipan miniature. But once you’re through the doors, the fruits of the 2011 renovation are immediately apparent. Proprietors Daniela and Philippe Frutiger, owners of a couple of hotels on the shores of Lake Maggiore, clearly weren’t intimidated by the luxe competition, nor were they overly reverent in approaching the restoration — Giardino Mountain is still an Alpine classic, timbered ceilings and all, it’s just been updated for an audience that’s a bit more visually adventurous." - Tablet Hotels

Great service and very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is a bit outside of St. Moritz center, but easily accessible by public bus (5-7 min ride). The restaurants on premises are outstanding and plenty of great dining options right in the vicinity within the walking distance. Would definitely come back.

My siblings and I came to St. Moritz to do some skiing for a couple of days. We are beginners so we had to rent out gear, the hotel staff were wonderful by guiding us to where to go rent gear and booked us a ski instructor with a ski school. The hotel has a shuttle service that can take you to ski lifts and ski schools! The staff were super friendly and helpful! We got a suite that had two balconies with wonderful mountain views! The rooms are super clean and spacious!! The breakfast was delicious and had classic breakfast options 👍🏻 Definitely coming back to Giardino Mountain to my next visit to St Moritz!

It’s a very good hotel that has a potential to be great. This is our third time at St. Moritz, and the reason we booked it was because I found it on Marriott Bonvoy platform and decided to give it a try, although the hotel is not in the main area of St. Moritz where we had always stayed before. In our previous experience with 5-star ski lodges that are not in the main area, the shuttles provided by the hotel work very well and will take you and pick you up from most ski lifts (not just one closest lift that is not most convenient for skiers) as well as to and from town. We were very disappointed to find out that the shuttle was not provided to the main town area, and the taxi was ~40 euros per trip, which I had to pay once when I ended up at a lift that was only 5 min further than the only one where the hotel shuttle goes. I was also disappointed that Marriott Bonvoy status (titanium) was not at all acknowledged by the hotel. The bonus points that we are supposed to be given at check-in were not offered. The room I got had inferior view to those that were given to other couples that traveled with us who booked the hotel through Expedia at a cheaper price. In addition, the other 2 couple received fruit platters in their rooms that were filled daily and we did not. I did bring up the Marriott Bonvoy status issue to the hotel when we were there but it was politely ignored.

We had dinner in the restaurant. It was one of the worst experiences ever! Do not go for dinner there, it is not worth!|Fresh orange juice turned out to be factory orange juice. Staff denied but in the end brought real fresh orange juice.|Everything went wrong. Ingredients that should be part of the meal according to menu were not there, broccoli a vegetable was so little one could hardly recognise it. Part of the dinner was cold.|Dessert was a disaster too. Kaisersmarren came without sugar and cold.|Most unfriendly manager ever met. Arrogant and can absolutely not stand any criticism. He simply denied anything went wrong.|DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT (we have not stayed in the hotel, cannot judge it).

Very cosy room, with a stunning view! the hotel offers a transfer from/to the train stations. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable to be honest but I was so busy that forgot to ask for others. ||As we went on Christmas they had some nice activities such as ice rink dances presentation - very charming! ||Special thanks to Francesco, the concierge and Francesco, the driver.

We recently stayed at this beautiful hotel and had a wonderful experience. The staff, particularly Raul, David, Carlo and Manuel, were exceptional and made our stay even more enjoyable. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall the property is excellent and the staff is very hand on for anything you have question or need any help. They provide shuttle service for the skies school. The breakfast is also very healthy and good. I will recommend this property to all.

Concierge Franchesco is the best when it comes to this property and he knows the city and place by heart The hotel needs to accept the Marriott Bonvoy members and give the recognition and not ignore . The design and ambience of the hotel is amazing .
