Best Cocktails in Atlanta According to Zodiac Sign - Eater Atlanta

"Pisces, the zodiac’s official dreamer, is always looking for life’s softer side. These romantics will love May Peel, tucked beneath Hotel Granada, for cocktails such as “Love is Blind” (Libelula tequila anejo, chinola passionfruit, cocchi rosa, carrot, lime, demerara, and cardamom) and the “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Martini” (Murrell’s Row Gingin, saffron, strega, Gonzales Byass Seco vermouth, and paprika oil)." - Denise K. The 12 Best Hotels in Atlanta

"Spanish architecture-meets-Southern charm in this Midtown hotel with a lush courtyard and cozy rooms. Hotel Granada is an adaptive reuse project set in a century-old building that once housed apartments. Located on the northern end of Midtown, the hotel attracts a fun-loving crowd that wants to sip spritzes under the crape myrtles at Pom Court, the courtyard restaurant, while modern steel structures tower above. This hotel’s perfect for those who want access to Midtown’s museums (the High and MODA) and other Midtown conveniences without the sterility of a box hotel. The hotel sits on a quieter stretch of Midtown with close proximity to the High Museum of Art and the Woodruff Arts Center, home to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Low-rise residential buildings and bungalows mingle with high-rises here, making for plenty of architectural eye-candy to enjoy on a neighborhood stroll. It’s also not far from Colony Square which houses a food hall, Italian restaurant Serena Pastificio, and JoJo’s Beloved Cocktail Lounge." - Allison Weiss Entrekin

Excellent stay! Everyone was beyond attentive, friendly and hospitable. Great walkable location and easy valet parking - the valet staff were all super friendly and helpful! Lovely little courtyard to enjoy a drink or light bites. I upgraded to a studio suite for more space and the room was very clean and comfortable.

Loved this unique hotel in Midtown! The 1920s Spanish Colonial building is a refreshing change from typical chain hotels. The courtyard and lounge are beautifully decorated and inviting. The rooms blend great design with modern comfort, and the staff couldn't be more welcoming. The real hidden gem is the May Peel bar downstairs - very cool spot for drinks. We had such a great time we stayed an extra night. Perfect if you want something with character in a central location!

Our stay at the Granada Hotel turned our to be great after an initial questionable opinion. The staff were outstanding in every area. Our suite was roomy and comfortable. Everything was clean and bed was large and comfortable. We did not eat a mean in the POM Restaurant but had smashburgers in the bar one night. They were large and delicious. Only negative, and it will be corrected in January, was no valet parking with parking being in a garage off site. There was no help with luggage either but rolling luggage carts were available. ||Again, the staff in all areas including the man in the linen room, were friendly, helpful and personable. ||This is a perfect location for attending Symphony Orchestra concerts and Alliance Theater performances and the High Museum of Art. All are within reasonable walking distance in good weather.

Beautiful new hotel! I really loved the decor and the soothing colors and atmosphere throughout. Everything was sparkling clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the staff was so friendly. It wasn't too loud despite being on a busy road. Definitely plan to have a drink in the gorgeous courtyard. The menu and atmosphere were lovely and it was the perfect place to relax!

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Granada! The decor is beautifully restored, blending modern touches with historic charm. The rooms are spacious, which was perfect for giving our son, Summit, plenty of room to crawl around. We were also really thankful that the hotel provided a mini crib for him, which made our stay much more convenient. The beds deserve a special mention—they are incredibly comfortable. The only downside was the poor customer service at the reception desk. While everything else was wonderful, the check-in experience could have been smoother and more welcoming. Overall, it’s a gorgeous hotel with fantastic amenities, and we’d happily stay here again if the customer service improves.

We had a fantastic overall experience at Hotel Granada and will definitely be coming back. Attentive and welcoming staff. Rooms and hotel have a modern southern charm. Lovely cafe and brunch area. Great cocktail bar in lobby and downstairs has a stylish speakeasy type bar that was perfect for evening drink and some food. Great location for getting around town.

Cute newly renovated hotel in Midtown in Atlanta. They thought of every detail here and did such a great job. The rooms have everything you need and the cafe and courtyard is a great place to hang out. The staff is all super nice and helpful as well.

Hotel Granada's a cool old building and the rooms are clean & comfortable. They have a beautiful, large open patio. We didn't get to enjoy because of weather, but it looked really nice. They also have plenty of comfortable seating in their lounge in an odd sort of extended bar layout. The menu is very limited and service was extremely slow. 30+ minutes to get menus, etc. Overall, they don't seem calibrated for business travelers, but are otherwise friendly and helpful.
